Meth lab found in Tullahoma

Deputies from the Coffee County Sheriff’s Department seized meth labs from a residence on South Washington Street in Tullahoma Wednesday night.
Sheriff’s Investigator James Sherrill received information that methamphetamines were being produced at 907 and half South Washington. When officers entered the residence and were told by the occupant that he had been “cooking meth” and then gave the deputies permission to search a mechanic shop. While searching the shop the officers allegedly found two bottles with meth being produced.
According to Sherrill, the individual involved in the production of meth is on probation for the promotion of methamphetamines. A case against the person producing the drug will be presented to the Coffee County Grand Jury. Meanwhile, Tullahoma Police are investigating a break in at the business.
