On Thursday Manchester Police received information that a person was in room 239 of the Scottish Inn allegedly smoking marijuana. The arrest warrant indicates that the man admitted to doing so.
Police say Jermaine T Kang age 36 of 24th St Chicago, IL was found to be in possession of a nine millimeter automatic weapon that was reported stolen out of Grundy County, Tennessee.
Kang is a convicted felon with a lengthy criminal history.
The man was charged by Manchester Officer Ernie Colvin with theft of property and unlawful carrying or possession of a weapon. His bond was set at $10,000.
