Mike Thompson owner of Thompson Ford in Tullahoma died yesterday (Sunday) in a swimming accident at a home in Coffee County. Apparently Thompson dove into a pool at a residence on Fairview School Rd and did not come back up. Thompson was swimming with several children at the time of his death. The 911 call came through around 3pm yesterday afternoon. Deputy Kerry Farrar and investigator Chad Partin were charge in of the scene.
