Lady Raiders Finish Runner-Up In State Golf Championship– Sadler 3rd Overall

The TSSAA State Golf Tournament wrapped up on Wednesday in Manchester for Class AAA high school teams. The Coffee County Lady Raiders finished as state runner-up with a two-day total 302. Senior Hollee Sadler completed her two days with a 1-under 143, good for 3rd place overall. Sophomore Savannah Quick posted a 79 on day-2, good for 17th overall. Freshman Jacque Crossland also competed for Coffee County. Rossview won the team state championship competition with a score of 143. Aubree Jones of Brighton shot a 70 Wednesday to go along with Tuesday’s 69 to win the individual title and Reagan Greene of Rossview finished runner-up.
In boy’s play Coffee County’s Jacob Prater shot 79 on day-one and completed day-two with a 78. Jacob finished in the middle of the standings at 43rd. Jacob Sherlin of Hendersonville and Cameron Davis of Brentwood tied for the individual championship. Sherlin made a birdie on the first hole of the sudden-death playoff to win the state title.
Farragut High School won the team championship.
