Poker Machines Taken Away From Local Businesses

Acting on a citizen compliant Manchester Police entered two businesses Thursday afternoon and seized poker machines.
According to Police Chief Mark Yother, police received complaints that the poker machines could be found in the Short Stop Market on Highway 53 and the C and B Go Mart, near Wal Mart on the Hillsboro Boulevard. “Officers found five machines at the Short Stop Market and seven machines at the C & B Mart,” the chief stated.
In addition to seizing the machines, officers also seized the money that was inside the machines.
No charges have been filed at this time but they are pending. The chief stated that police are continuing to investigate the possession of the machines. (Tullahoma News)
