Manchester Fire and Rescue responded to 409 Rose Street on Monday for a house fire. When firemen arrived they found a fire in the downstairs of a two story house.
The occupant was alerted to the fire by smoke alarms the Manchester Fire and Rescue had recently installed.
Deputies from Coffee County Sheriff’s department and officers from the Manchester Police Department helped to escort the resident from her front porch.
