A 59 year old Franklin County woman is being held in the Franklin County Jail under a $30,000 bond after being arrested for 3 counts of statutory rape. Janis M. Hill of Wilder’s Chapel Road, Decherd was arrested last week after being indicted by the Franklin County Grand Jury on the charges. The indictments allege that the woman had sex with a boy who was at least 13 years old but under 18 on least three times. The charges were brought to the attention of the sheriff’s department and Investigator Andrea Davidson investigated. According to Franklin County Sheriff Tim Fuller, the investigation into the case is continuing.
