On Sunday October the 19th at approximately 9:35pm Franklin County Sheriff’s Office personnel responded to an armed robbery just outside the Winchester area. A report filed by Deputy Charles Keller stated that and unidentified individual entered Gary’s Lakeside Market and held a handgun at the clerk. The suspect then demanded the clerk remove all money from both registers and hand it over then locked the clerk in the office located at the rear of the store. The suspect then fled the premises on foot. The suspect was dressed in black gloves, black hood and black shoes with white trim. The suspect appeared to be male between 5”7- 5”9 and weighed between 170-200lbs. Any citizen having any information regarding this incident is asked to contact Inv.
