On Sunday (August 17) morning at approximately 1:34am Franklin County Sheriff’s Office personnel responded to a traffic crash with injuries on Bible Crossing Road located in the Winchester area. Investigation of the crash has been released to the Tennessee Highway Patrol and their Critical Incident Response (CIRT) Team.
James Wesley Parks (32 yrs. old 302 W. Main St. Decherd, TN.) was airlifted from the scene to Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. Lisa Smith (44 yrs. old 403 Jones Rd. Hazel Green, AL.) was airlifted from the scene to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, TN. Ricky Riddle (47 yrs. old 121 Edgewood Ln. Winchester, TN.) was airlifted from Southern Tennessee Medical Center to Erlanger Hospital. Shawn D. Jacobs (32 yrs. old 67 Sunshine Dr. Decherd, TN) was airlifted from Southern Tennessee Medical Center to Vanderbilt Hospital. There conditions are unknown at this time.
