Saturday morning (June 23, 2012) just before 8:00am, the Summitville VFD was paged to a structure fire at 1018 Summitville Road. The home was not occupied but was being worked on. The house, owned by Richard Onderka, suffered heavy smoke and water damage. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined. Coffee County Sheriff’s Department will be investigating.
