On Saturday, Manchester Officer Dale Roberson stopped a man driving on Vincent Street for a traffic violation. Roberson says in the arrest warrant that he detected the odor of an intoxicant about the man. Gino Harris age 46 of Willowpoint Dr Tullahoma allegedly admitted to drinking too much to the officer. The warrant says that Harris was unsteady on his feet and had bloodshot eyes. Officer Roberson conducted three field sobriety tests on Harris and he allegedly performed poorly on all 3 tests. Harris refused to consent to a blood draw and the officer obtained a search warrant and then transported Harris to Unity Medical Center in Manchester for a blood/alcohol test, results are pending.
Harris was charged with, driving under the influence 5th offence, habitual motor vehicle offender, violation of implied consent and driving on a revoked/suspended license 3rd offence. His bond was set at $21,000 and he’ll be in court on September 27, 2016.
