On Monday December 7th at approximately 10:00pm Franklin County Sheriff’s Office personnel executed a search warrant in the 1300 block of Rock Creek Road. As a result of the search warrant, law enforcement discovered a large quantity of prescription narcotics, approximately 1 ounce of what is believed to be marijuana with a street value estimated at $500.00 and drug paraphernalia, also seized from the scene was $2,800 in cash. There is an ongoing investigation into this case and further information will be released when it is deemed appropriate. Participating in the operation were: Investigator George Dyer, Sergeant Seth Isbell with K-9 Coca and deputies Kayln Machuta, Daryl Sweeton, Martin Tyler and Corporal Curtis Francis.
Sheriff Tim Fuller stated that this is an example of the dedication and hard work put forth by the members of the Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff Fuller also shared that it is very difficult to be successful in prescription drug cases due to the logistics of the legal system but the Sheriff’s Office would continue to put forth every effort to make Franklin County as safe for the citizen’s as possible.
