Bondsman Privileges Suspended in Coffee County

Ryan Barker, who is a bail bondsman in Manchester had his privileges suspended last week by Circuit Court Judge Vanessa Jackson.
Coffee County District Attorney Craig Northcott told WMSR News that his office presented information that Barker had coerced a woman to have sex with him in exchange for making bonds.
“A woman went to the Manchester Police Department and notified them of the allegations and they in turn notified me,” Northcott said. The TBI was then asked to conduct an investigation.
The investigation is continuing, and no charges have been filed at this time.
