The American Legion Post in Manchester will be holding its third annual “Stomp” on September 3rd at the Manchester/Coffee County Conference Center. A “Stomp” is a gathering of bikes; however, they have designed this for all in the community. Over 30 vendors will be set up similar to a “street fair”.
A Poker Run will take place and it is open to automobiles as well. The Poker Run is an event where participants travel to established locations and draw a card. Locations will be written on their registration card to be turned in at the finish line. They will allow people to discard and redraw up to three cards at the end, for an additional donation, of course. The route will be a scenic 130 miles and people travel at their own pace, stopping whenever they like as long as they return by the finish time.
Prizes, auctions, dinner and a dance will be open to everyone.
This is the American Legion Post in Manchester’s major fund raiser to help veteran causes. This will be a fun day for all and kid friendly.
An important part of this event is the “Remember Our Fallen” display that will be located inside the Manchester/Coffee County Conference Center. The memorial is specific for Tennessee.
