Kyleigh Rhea Camp

Kyleigh Rhea Camp of Lynchburg, TN went to be with her heavenly father Sunday, March 14, 2021 at the age of 23.  The family will welcome friends for visitation on Thursday, March 18 from 4pm until 7pm at Lynchburg Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place on Friday, March 19 at 11am, at Lynchburg Funeral Home with Pastor A.J. Alderman officiating. 

Pallbearers will include: Jordan Hopkins, Tyler Prater, Neil Greenway, Derek Greenway, Cameron Greenway, Cale Greenway, Dalton Barrier.

Honorary Pallbearers to include: Jackson Greenway and Cooper Dickey.

Kyleigh was born on July 9, 1997 to David and Anita Greenway Camp. Her personality was larger than life. She kept her family and friends on their toes with her honesty and humor. Her family meant the world to her and she spent time with them every moment she could. To her friends, she was known for her heart of gold and her love of laughter. Above all, she loved her Lord Jesus Christ with all her heart.

She was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church and loved animals, especially her dogs.

Throughout her years at Moore County High School, Kyleigh played softball and won many awards. Her passion for softball never subsided and she continued to play recreational softball after she left high school. She also loved being out on the lake, kayaking, and skiing. 

She was employed at Jack Daniels and recently found out she was going to be an Aunt. She was so thrilled about the upcoming arrival of her first niece or nephew, that she told everyone she came in contact with about the news.

Kyleigh was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Georgia Leta Bobo and Mamie Yates; grandparents, Thomas Greenway, Hershel Camp, Patricia Bobo Camp.

Along with her parents, she is survived by her grandmother, Wanda “Katie” Greenway of Lynchburg; sister, Kelsey Hopkins (Jordan) of Winchester; uncle/ Godfather, Anthony Camp; aunt/ Godmother, Susan Camp; uncles, Davis Greenway (Sheree), Dan Greenway (Kim), Bruce Greenway; special cousin/ honorary sister, Amanda Dickey (Chris) of Lynchburg; and a host of cousins and friends.

William R. Banks

Funeral services for Mr. William R. Banks, age 94 of Manchester, will be conducted at 1:00PM on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at Manchester Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Hurricane Grove Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00AM until the time of services at the funeral home.  Mr. Banks passed from this life surrounded by his loving family on Monday, March 15, 2021, at his residence in Manchester.

Doug was born in Coffee County on March 15, 1927, the son of the late Andrew and Throna Banks.  He worked for the Coffee County Board of Education as a bus driver for over 38 years.  Before becoming a bus driver, Doug also was a truck driver and a volunteer fireman.  He was a member of Hurricane Grove Baptist Church, and was a wonderful person.  Doug was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather.

In addition to his parents, Doug is also preceded in death by his first wife, Alice Franklin Banks; son-in-law, Ronald Hill; two brothers, Horace Banks and Infant Elroy Banks; sister Hazel Denney.  He is survived by his beloved wife, Ruth Banks; two sons, Jimmy Banks (Doris) and Manuel Banks (Darlene); five daughters, Marilyn Burt (Steve), Sue Hill, Donna Beene, Sheryl Goodwin, and Sherry Hastings; brother, Joe Banks; fourteen grandchildren, Robin Rigney (Todd), Rachel Newcomb (Wes), Jason Banks (Alaina), William Hill, Amy Hendon (Gene) Kristy Neesmith (Andy), Starr Elliott (Dan), Jeremy Ames (Keri), Marlin Fletcher (Crystal), Angie Fletcher, Troy Rogers (Tina), Jeff Rogers, Ronnie Banks, and Samantha Schuls; twenty-two great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Mark Lewis

Mark Lewis , of Moore County, passed this life on Wednesday, March 10 th , 2021 at his home at the age of 52. Mark was born in Tullahoma to the late Claborn Lewis and Betty Jo Rolman Lewis who survives. He was a long-time employee of Jack Daniels where he worked as a Foreman. In addition to his father, Mark was preceded in death by one sister, Tammy Jo Lewis. He is survived by his mother, Betty Jo Rolman Lewis; one sister, Carolyn Chapin; one brother, Chris Lewis; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; four nephews, Nathaniel Lewis, Blake Lewis, Derek Chapin (Cari) and Bradley Chapin (Nicole); and one niece, Jana Chapin. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 16 th , 2021 at Franklin Memorial Gardens at 2:00pm with Willie Brunosky officiating. Kilgore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Paul David Vickers

Funeral services for Paul David Vickers, age 72 of Manchester, will be conducted on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at 1 PM in the Manchester Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow in the Farrar Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Monday, March 15, from 4 – 9 PM at the funeral home. David passed away on Friday, March 12, at St. Thomas Rutherford, after an extended illness.

David was born on April 30, 1948, to the late Paul and Juanita Whittemore Vickers, in McMinnville, TN. He was a retired inspector at Carrier, Inc. in Morrison. David loved classic cars, Harleys, Nascar, and trail riding in Razors with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by one grandson, Chad Crabtree, and special brother-in-law, Jerry Henley. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Cindee Beth Grissom Vickers; children, Alan Vickers and his wife, Annie, Jason Vickers, and Bert Campbell and his wife, Amy; sisters, Deborah Vickers, Linda Johnson and her husband, Jerry, and Donna Henley; grandchildren, Casey Vickers and his wife, Kelsey, Chase Vickers, Sarah Campbell, Ethan and Emma Singleton, and Preston Vickers; great grandchildren, Emery and Filip Vickers, and Isabella and Cash Vickers; two nieces, Hope Alford and Tayler Webb several great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and a host of additional family & friends.

Acting as pallbearers for David will be Alan Vickers, Bert Campbell, Ethan Singleton, Jeff Adams, Chris Alford, and Dustin Webb. Also, special friends and honorary pallbearers, Steve Propst and Joe Sliger.

Katherine Ellen Fults

Mrs. Katherine Ellen Fults, age 86, of Manchester,
TN, passed from this life on Friday, March 12, 2021, at her residence
surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Fults was born in Manchester, TN, to her late parents Lottie Sain
Jones and John G. Jones. She was a homemaker all her life and always took
care of her family. Mrs. Fults was a wonderful mother, wife, and friend and
she loved her family dearly. She loved home decorating, crafting, reading
and loved flowers. Mrs. Fults was a beautiful singer and she always loved
hearing the birds chirping outside. In addition to her parents, she was
preceded in death by a son, John W. Fults; grandson, John W. Fults, Jr.;
sister, Carolyn Cole; brother, Verlon Jones; son-in-law, Dan Scott.

Mrs. Fults is survived by her loving husband, Porter Fults; daughters,
Deidra Scott, Kathy (Dexter) Toombs; sisters, Frances O’Kelley, Jonnie
Jones, and Peggy Brandon; grandchildren, Chandra Scott, Brittany Toombs,
Danielle Scott, Brannon Toombs, Kayla Wakefield; great grandchildren, Ethan
Potter, Austin Howard, Zoey Holloway, Bryton Toombs, Bryleigh Wakefield,
and Jace Richardson.

Family will receive friends Sunday, March 14, 2021, from 5:00pm until
9:00pm at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, TN. Funeral service will be
conducted on Monday, March 15, 2021, at 1:00pm from the chapel of Central
Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in
Summittville Cemetery.

Mary “Jeanette” Byrom Gardner

Mrs. Mary “Jeanette” Byrom Gardner, age 73, passed away on March 11, 2021 in Columbia, South Carolina surrounded by family.

Jeanette was born on October 9, 1947 in Franklin County Tennessee where she grew up with 5 brothers and a sister. She grew up on a farm where her family had a love of horses and grew up going to the Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration. She graduated from Franklin County High School in 1965. She went to Nursing School in Manchester and studied to become an LPN. She started her career at Harton Hospital where she met her husband, Les Gardner. Les and Jeanette were married on June 3, 1972. They have 2 children, Scott and Holly, and lived in Tullahoma until 1979 when they moved to Pennsylvania for Les’ work. They continued to move around for the next 30+ years. They went from Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, to Florence, Alabama, Nashville, Tennessee, Louisville, Kentucky, Roswell, Georgia, Portland, Oregon, Frisco, Texas, Woodstock, Georgia (where they lived for 20 years) and their final home in Newberry, South Carolina.

Jeanette worked as a Nurse in a doctors office, various hospitals and nursing homes throughout her nursing career. She was the kindest caregiver you could meet and took pride in her work. She made the patients and the patients loved ones feel at ease and comforted that she was there to look after them.

Jeanette loved her family and loved them hard. She was a loving wife, mom and GG to her grandchildren. She has 3 Grandsons and 1 Granddaughter who are all active in sports. She loved to brag about all of her grand babies. She was a member of Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church in Woodstock, Georgia and had a strong faith in the the Lord. She was a Christian woman and worshiped the Lord daily.

Jeanette is preceded in death by her parents Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Reagor & Mary Ruth Byrom, in-laws Mr. & Mrs. Guy J. & Nancy Sue Gardner and sister-in-law Felicia Byrom.

Jeanette leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of almost 50 years, Les Gardner; two children, Scott Gardner (Christie) of Newberry, SC and Holly Stroup (Leon) of Canton, GA; four grandchildren, Payton Gardner, Austin Gardner, Claire Stroup and Kyle Stroup. She also leaves behind Brothers Joe Byrom, Jackie Byrom (Connie), Jimmy Byrom (Katherine), Jeff Byrom (Kim) and Justin Byrom (Suzanne), as well as her only sister Judy Gambill (Paul), Aunt Ava Lee Womble and many nieces and nephews, a host of cousins and family friends.

There will be a Visitation on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 6-8 PM. The Funeral will be held on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at 1:00 PM, presiding over the service is Jeanette’s nephew, Minister Jamie Byrom. They will both be held at the Lynchburg Funeral Home in Lynchburg, Tennessee.

Jeanette will be buried at Smith Chapel Cemetery in Lynchburg, Tennessee next to her parents.

Sue Walker

Sue Walker of Lynchburg, TN went to be with her heavenly father March 10, 2021.  She was born November 21, 1927 to the late Charlie Tripp and Mammie Sawyer Tripp.

“I have not merely spent my life, I have invested in it since 1927, with the love and help of God, my husband, children, and grandchildren. I have give myself to the love of God and all my family.”

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Walker and eldest son, Donald Walker.

She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Walker (Martha), Dale Walker (Nancy), Joey Walker (Kelli); daughters, Barbara Parks (Larry), Rita Eslick (Dale); daughter-in-law, Mary Anna Walker; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren.

The family will welcome friends at Lynchburg Funeral Home for a Visitation on Saturday, March 13 from 11:30am until 12:30pm. A Graveside service will follow at Fugua Reed Cemetery at 1:00pm.

Carl Raymond Menako

Funeral services for Mr. Carl Raymond Menako, age 67 of Manchester, will be conducted at 10:00AM on Thursday, March 11, 2021, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in Fredonia Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Manchester Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 10, 2021.  Mr. Menako passed from this life on Sunday, March 7, 2021, at his residence in Manchester.

Carl was born on May 27, 1953, the son of the late Stanely and Grace Menako.  He was an engineer at AEDC for many years.  Carl enjoyed learning, and he was a member of the Knight’s of Columbus.  He was a loving husband, father, and brother.

Carl is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Grace Menako.  He is survived by his loving wife, Irina Menako; two sons, Konstantin and Nicholas Menako; brother, Jack Menako; sister, Kathy Lewis.

Bobbie Evelyn Hinsley

Bobbie Evelyn Hinsley , of Nashville, formerly of Tullahoma, passed this life on Monday, March 8 th , 2021 at her home at the age of 93. Mrs. Hinsley was born in Henderson, Texas to the late Wilford and Mattie Wade Harris. She was a long-time and devoted member of First Baptist Church in Tullahoma and loved her church family dearly. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hinsley was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Lawrence Melvyn “Mel” Hinsley; and one son, Dr. Neil H. Hinsley. She is survived by her son, Larry Hinsley and his wife Karol; three grandchildren, Randall Hinsley and his wife Brittany, Angela Gale and her husband Cory, and Jill Hinsley; four great-grandchildren, Clark Copeland, Brooklyn Hinsley, Annaleese Gale and David Gale; one sister, Carolyn Barnett and her husband Earl; and her sister-in-law, Bell Hinsley. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 11 th , 2021 from 10:00-11:00am with the funeral to immediately follow at 11:00am with Pastor Joe Stegall officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Tom Gwynn Jr.

Tom Gwynn Jr. of Huntsville, Alabama passed this life on Friday, March 5, 2021 at the age of 71.  

The family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m. Wednesday, March 10th at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at 1 p.m.  Interment will follow in Bethany Cemetery. 

Tom was born January 20, 1950 to Thomas Gwynn Sr. and the late Sarah Molene Gwynn.  Besides his mother, Tom is preceded in death by his sister Julia.  When Tom was younger, he worked as a computer technician for Boweing at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. 

He leaves behind his father, Thomas Gwynn Sr. of Tullahoma, TN.
