12/6/12 — Rollie Edgar Haley
Funeral services for Mr. Rollie Edgar Haley, age 93, of Manchester, will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Barry Whitaker officiating.
Burial will follow in Reddens Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, December 5 at the funeral home.
Mr. Haley passed away on Monday, December 3 at Horizon Health and Rehab Center in Manchester.
Mr. Haley was born in Coffee County, TN, the son of the late Alex and Josephine Wiser Haley.
He worked in sales at Western Auto. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during World War II. He enjoyed fishing and was of the Methodist faith.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Haley was also preceded in death by two brothers, Roy Lee Haley and Walter Haley; and three sisters, Emma Jones, Effie Wilson and Audie Alford.
He is survived by nieces and nephews.

12/6/12 — June St. John Duckett
Memorial services for Mrs. June St. John Duckett, age 74, of the Pocahontas community of Coffee County, TN, will be conducted at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Danny Freeman officiating.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Wednesday, December 5 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Duckett passed away on Monday, December 3, 2012 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Duckett was born in the Ivy Bluff community of Cannon County, TN, the daughter of the late Virgil and Goldia Winnett St. John.
She attended Ivy Bluff United Methodist Church and Manchester First United Methodist Church. She began her career as a legal secretary for Judge John Shields in Coffee County, and was later a secretary at AEDC. For most of her career, she owned a catering business, Susannah’s Catering, where she was well known for her wedding cakes.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Duckett was also preceded in death by one sister, Vivian Willis.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Lee Duckett, of the Pocahontas community; one son, Chris (Julie) Duckett of Murfreesboro; two daughters, Julee (David) Grosch and Janet (David) Orrick, both of the Pocahontas community; five brothers, Fred St. John of Birmingham, AL, Harry St. John of McMinnville, Loyd St. John of Owensboro, KY, Bill St. John of Gonzales, TX, and Doug St. John of the Pocahontas community; two sisters, Maxine St. John of Mexico and Linda St. John of the Pocahontas community; and nine grandchildren, Andy Grosch, Eric Grosch, Amy Duckett, Carly Duckett, Annalee Duckett, Emma Duckett, Elsie Duckett, Will Rigsby, and Makenna Orrick.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Coffee County Public Library, 1005 Hillsboro Blvd, Manchester, TN 37355 or the American Diabetes Association, 4205 Hillsboro Road, Suite 200, Nashville, TN 37215.

12/5/12 — Willie Rogers Flynn
Mrs. Willie Rogers Flynn age 78 of Tracy City went to be with the Lord on December 1, 2012, at Medical Center of Manchester.
Mrs. Flynn attended Tracy City First United Methodist Church
She is preceded in death by her husband Patrick S. Flynn; parents Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Rogers; brothers James Rogers and Charles Rogers; son–in–law Daniel Linder.
Survivors include her children Debra Flynn Linder of Altamont, TN and Timothy Michael Flynn of Cottonwood, AZ; brother Gene Rogers of Altamont; grandchildren Jessica Linder, Jason Flynn, Heather Flynn, and Devin Flynn.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 5, 2012 in the funeral home chapel with Brother Danny Coffelt officiating.
Burial will be in Coalmont Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.

12/5/12 — Patsy Muse
Mrs. Patsy Muse, age 81, of Tullahoma, passed away at Harton Regional Medical Center.
She is a native of Manchester, TN and is the daughter of the late Evan and Adella Crocker Jernigan. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death her husband, Jack Muse. Patsy and Jack were married in 1955.
She was a member of the Wesley Heights United Methodist Church, president of her high school freshman class, played basketball for 4 years at Coffee County High School and was a Captain her senior year, a majorette her sophomore & junior years, a cheerleader her senior year.
The family request for those who wish donations be made to the MS Society or the Wesley Heights United Methodist Church Youth Outreach Program and Missions.
She is survived by a daughter, Ginger Muse of Tullahoma and a son, Phil (Marejane) Muse of Orlando, FL.
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, from 11:00AM until 1:00PM at the Tullahoma Funeral Home.
Services will be conducted Wednesday at 1:00PM in the Tullahoma Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

Michael Troy Terrill age 49 of Monteagle went to be with the Lord on December 1, 2012.
Troy worked at American Airlines for over 20 years. He was very fortunate to be able to travel the world from one side to the other with adventures that he cherished during his long illness.
He was preceded in death by his father Jack Terrill, and his nephew Skyler Brandon Terrill; aunt Catherine Guyear; paternal grandparents JD (Peck) and Ina Terrill; maternal grandparents Joe Bud and Ruth Long.
Survivors include his mother Lucille Terrill of Monteagle; brother and sister-in-law Ronald M. and Sandra Terrill also of Monteagle; sister Tennie Jane Smotherman of Manchester; three nephews Jason Smotherman of Indiana; Jeremy Smotherman of Manchester; Adam Terrill of Athens, TN; niece Jamie Marie Smotherman of South Carolina; A very special aunt Ruth (Goggle) Green of Cowan; uncle Joe B. JAMES JEFFREY WALTON, age 51, departed this life on Sunday, December 2, 2012. James was born on April 15, 1961, in Winchester to the late Dorothy and James Jasper Walton.
James was a benchmark in the real estate business for over 25 years, winning numerous awards for his production and quality service. He was also a mortgage broker for Citizens Bank. James loved serving the public and was real “people person.” He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and brother.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Zimmerman Walton, son, Russell Walton both of Winchester, sisters; Carolyn (Charles) Myers of Estill Springs, Carmen Thomas of Winchester, brothers-in-law, David (Nancy) Zimmerman of Winchester, Greg (Kay) Zimmerman of Knoxville, Tenn., nieces, Erica (Scot) Bradford and son, Weber of Winchester, Charlsie Myers of South Carolina, Amanda (Trevor) Lockhart of Winchester, Holly (Scott) Eslick and daughter, Aubrey of Winchester, Lindsey, Shelby and Nikki Zimmerman all of Knoxville, nephew, Michael Zimmerman also of Knoxville.
Visitation for James will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. Friday, December 7, 2012 at the Winchester Cumberland Presbyterian Church Family Life Center with a Memorial Service at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the Church with Rev. Michael Clark officiating.

Funeral services for Mr. Shelton Mason, age 86, of Beechgrove, will be conducted Monday, December 3, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Brother Matthew Mason, grandson of Mr. Mason officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 2, 2012 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mr. Mason passed away Friday, November 30, 2012 in Murfreesboro.
He was born April 10, 1926 in Beechgrove, Tennessee the son of the late William Ewin Mason and Jesse Junia Shelton Mason. Mr. Mason enjoyed farming and mechanic work throughout his life. He also enjoyed singing old gospel hymns and was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Beechgrove. Mr. Mason is a United States Navy veteran having served his country during World War II.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Nell Ovena Messick Mason, who passed away November 21, 2008.
Survivors include two sons, Philip Mason of Beechgrove; Lyle Mason and wife, Mona also of Beechgrove; six grandchildren, Monica Mason Donahue and husband, Jason; Matt Mason and wife, Rachel; Sean Mason and wife, Ashley; Sawyer Mason; Shelby Mason and Carlyn Mason; six great-grandchildren, Mason, Katelyn and Sarah Beth Donahue; Kaylee Mason; Addison and Ainsley Mason. Also surviving is one brother, Allen Mason and wife, Myra of Murfreesboro and two sister-in-laws: Iva Rose of Beechgrove and Velma and husband, Dorris Davis of the Noah Community and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church of Beechgrove, TN or to the American Cancer Society.

12/3/12 — OLLIE “SONNY” WILLIAM O’FERRELL
OLLIE “SONNY” WILLIAM O’FERRELL, age 69, of Normandy, Tenn., departed this life on Friday, November 30, 2012 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville following a brief illness.
Mr. O’Ferrell was employed for many years in machine maintenance at Wisco Envelope Company in Tullahoma, Tenn. He was called into the ministry in 1980. He was a member of the First Church of Jesus Christ in Tullahoma. He loved gardening, metal and wood working but his favorite hobby was making model trains.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Ollie and Alice Tigue O’Ferrell, three sisters and one brother.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lois A. O’Ferrell, children; Eura (James) Avans, Vickie (Junior) Baker all of Normandy, Robert (Jessica) O”Ferrell of Tullahoma, Victoria O’Ferrell of Normandy, sister, Sheila O’Ferrell of Shelbyville, 5-grandchildren, 8-great-grandchildren, special nieces and nephews, Vernon Melton, Allen Melton, Leslie Rich, Lynn Harris and Tonia Pendergrast.
Services for Mr. O’Ferrell are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Monday, December, 3, 2012 in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with visitation from 12:00 until service time at 2:00 prior to the service, with Bishop Willie Young officiating.
Interment will follow in Bethany Cemetery in Tullahoma.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ginger Johnson, age 57 of Manchester will be conducted at 11:00am, Monday, December 3 at the Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dennis Ham officiating.
Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation with the Johnson family will be from 5pm until 9pm, Sunday, December 2 at Manchester Funeral Home.
Mrs. Johnson passed away Saturday morning at her home following an extended illness.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Grundy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late William Hughie Anderson and Mary Katherine Patterson Anderson of Hillsboro who survives. She was a homemaker and also helped in the family business. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by a grandson, Wes Butler.
