4/19/14 —- FREDDIE REYNOLDS

Funeral services for Mr. Freddie Reynolds, age 63 of Manchester, will be conducted Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Brother Benny Benjamin officiating. 

Burial will follow at Adam Duncan Cemetery in the Goose Pond Community. 

Visitation will be held Friday, April 18, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the funeral home. 

Mr. Reynolds passed away Monday, April 14, 2014. 

Mr. Reynolds was born July 23, 1950 in Woodbury, Tennessee, the son of the late George Fred Reynolds and Hattie Ruth Perry Reynolds.   Freddie attended Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, where he graduated with a degree in Engineering.  He was very talented in designing architecture, but chose a different path.  In 1984, Freddie opened Freddie’s Oyster Bar and Grill in Manchester, serving area residents and the surrounding communities with his famous hot wings, adult beverages and his always welcoming hospitality.  Known for having never met a stranger, he was always willing to help those in need and touched many lives, by being a friend.  Freddie was passionate about University of Tennessee sports, never missing the chance to cheer on the football and basketball teams.  This was apparent to all patrons who graced his establishment, by enjoying his collection of UT memorabilia.

Survivors include his loving wife of 21 years Suzanne “Susie” Reynolds of Manchester; two daughters, Whitney Jordan Reynolds and Cortney Ann Clark, both of Manchester; three sisters, Eva Adams of Manchester, Virginia Williams of Winchester, and Cherry Hill and Donnie Tawwater of Tullahoma; mother-in-law, Ruth Bellenfant of Shelbyville; two brothers-in-law, Keith Bellenfant and wife, Kit, of  Murfreesboro and Ken Bellenfant of Shelbyville; two nieces, Gina Jones of Manchester and Kelly Todd (Elbert “Pee Wee”) of Beechgrove; two great nephews, Keith Adams and Jacob Lowery, both of Manchester; and one great niece, Brandi Hershman of Manchester.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to be made to one’s favorite charity in Coffee County or to the Coffee County Animal Shelter.

4/17/14 —- Martha King

Mrs. Martha King, age 46 of Manchester, Tennessee passed from this life on Monday, April 14, 2014 surrounded by her loving family.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Lorene Herrell Williams, and one brother Ewin Lee
Williams.

She is survived by her loving husband of twenty-two years, Dennis King, Jr., two sons Dalton Lee King of Manchester, Tennessee, Samuel Earl King and wife Kristine of Manchester, Tennessee, four sisters, Betty Lenhart, Linda Swack, Darlene Nunn, Sue Nunn, five brothers, David Williams, Buck Williams, Leighton Williams, Michael Williams, Hank Williams,
all of Manchester, Tennessee, three grandchildren, Taya Shay King, K-leb Noah King, and Aden Earl King.  Several
nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Mrs. King enjoyed traveling and coaching kids tee ball.  She loved and cherished her grandchildren.  Her husband, children andfamily were her life.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Martha King will be conducted on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Brother Benny Benjamin officiating.

Funeral Services will also be conducted on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Jones and Sons Funeral Home, Oneida, Tennessee at 11:00AM Eastern Time.

Burial will follow the Saturday, April 19, 2014 service.  Burial will be in Walker Chitwood Cemetery, Winfield, Tennessee.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Coffee County Funeral Chapel, Manchester, Tennessee.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ollie “Nanny” Hill, age 73, will be conducted Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Brother Albert Watters officiating.

Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Hillsboro, Tennessee.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 16, 2014 from 5:00 until 9:00 PM at the Coffee County Funeral Chapel.

Mrs. Hill passed away Monday, April 14, 2014 surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Hill was born April 26, 1940 in Coffee County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Rufus Emett Medley of Lincoln County, Tennessee and Isabell Harmon Medley of Elton, Kentucky.

A life-long resident of Coffee County, Nanny treasured her days as a homemaker, being a Momma, cooking, and caring for children. She loved her family and cherished her time with others she considered family, with the Helping Hands of Faith at the nursing home and her special friend, Mrs. Randolph. She was a member of the Baptist faith and her thoughtful and compassionate spirit will be forever missed by her beloved family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Nanny is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Frank “Papa” Hill who passed away November 28, 2009, four sisters, Dahlia Jean Walls, Alth Ruth Arnold, Burthea Geneva Medley and Mary JoAnna Holt, three brothers, William Haskell Medley, Henry Boyd Medley, and James Emett Medley.

Mrs. Hill is survived by her three daughters, Robin Meek and Scott Rouse of Manchester, Heather Hill and Angie Thomas, also of Hillsboro, and Ruth Arnold of Manchester, three sisters, Marie Winton and husband, Bob, of Manchester, Gertie Floyd and husband, Bill of Flintstone, Georgia, and Mavis Matlock of Hillsboro, Tennessee, two brothers, Ed Medley, and wife, Ruth of Hillsboro, Tennessee and Glen Medley and wife, Frances, of Manchester, Tennessee, four grandchildren, Lindsay (Carey) Baldwin, Hannah Meek, Tiffany (Josh) Norwood, and Blake Arnold and one great grandchild, Braxton Norwood.

4/16/14 — Charles Edward Burton

Mr. Charles Edward Burton age 78 of Lynchburg, passed away Monday April 14, 2014 at the Lynchburg Nursing Center.

A native of Lynchburg he was a farmer and a son of the late Ben Burton and Daisy Cunningham Burton.

He is survived by his sons; Eddie Burton and his wife Jacqueline of Lynchburg, Benny Burton of Shelbyville and Chad Burton and his wife Cheryl of Lynchburg, a daughter; Christy Thompson and her husband Joey of Winchester and a step-daughter, Michelle Sisk of Winchester. Brother, Ralph Burton and his wife Jane of Lynchburg and a sister, Wilma Raby of Shelbyville. 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends Tuesday April 15, 2014 at Lynchburg Funeral Home from 5-9 PM.

Services will be held at 1 :00 PM Wednesday April 16, 2014 at the Lynchburg Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Richard Logan and Bro. George Bremer officiating.

Burial will follow in the Lynchburg Cemetery.

Nancy Jane  Massey, age 67 of Hillsboro, Tennessee, passed away on April 8, 2014.

She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Charles G. Massey and Karen Martha Scheuer Massey.

She is survived by her daughter, Meagan Hickman of Nashville, TN; brothers, Charles Massey, David Massey, William Massey, Thomas Massey and Lance Massey; sisters, Eva Thomas and Dianne Cote; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A family service was conducted on Sunday, April 13, 2014.

4/15/14 —- Michael Brian Fann

Michael Brian Fann, age 48, passed away on April 12, 2014 at his home in Hillsboro, Tennessee.

Brian, Manager of Midstate Collison, was born in Murfreesboro, TN to his father, the late Gaylen H. Fann and mother, Janet Ann McAlpin-Fann of Manchester, TN who survives.

He is also survived by Gina Fann, the mother of his daughters, Brandi R. Fann-Leeder and her husband Ben of Manchester, TN, Brooke M. Fann and Baylee A. Fann both of Hillsboro, TN; sisters, Gaylnn Fann Rayfield of Manchester, TN and Annette Fann Zawacki of Orlando, FL; brothers, Brent Fann, Brad Fann and Brock Fann all of Manchester, TN; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Monday, April 14, 2014 from 4:00 p.m.  –  8:00 p.m.flower 12

4/14/14 —- Richard Wayne Baker

Mr. Richard Wayne Baker, age 54, of Tullahoma, TN., passed away Thursday, April 11, 2014, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN.

A native of Fayetteville, TN., he was the son of Billy Wayne and Charlotte Ann Hinkle Baker of Tullahoma.

He was of the Church of Christ faith and the Owner/Operator of Baker Services. Mr. Baker enjoyed golf and boxing. He loved all sports but Alabama football was his favorite. He enjoyed working on cars and loved his Mustang. He was known for telling jokes and making everyone laugh. Richard was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one daughter Mercedes Nicole Baker, one brother Steven (Beth) Baker, and one sister Gina Baker, all of Tullahoma, TN. Nieces and nephews Ragan and Laura Baker of Tullahoma, TN., and Allen and Mekeesha Matherley of Chattanooga, TN.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday, April 13, 2014 from 2 PM until 5 PM in the Chapel of Tullahoma Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Mr. Baker will be Monday, April 14, 2014, at 11 AM in the Chapel of Tullahoma Funeral Home with Brother Pat Allison officiating.

Burial will follow at Lois Cemetery in Moore County, TN.

4/11/14 — Jimmy J. Wimley

Jimmy J. Wimley, age 75, a McMinnville, TN resident and Coffee County, TN native was born July 30, 1938 and died April 9, 2014 at Centennial Medical Center, Nashville, TN following a brief illness.

He was a longtime local business owner and operator of Jimmy’s Auto Sales and Payton & Lane Tire Shop, was a member of the National Guard, attended North Hills Church of God of Prophecy and was the son of the late Bernice and Jeanette Hill Wimley.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, W.C. Johnny, J.D., Truman, Donald and Horace Wimley and daughter, Patricia Cable.

He was married July 16, 2005 to Joyce Burch Wimley who survives.  He is also survived by three daughters, Judy Sherrill of Manchester, TN and Bonnie Bush and Kathy Boyette of Coffee County;  son, Jimmy W. Wimley of Hillsboro, TN; two step-daughters, Carla (Alex) Nagy of McMinnville and Jan (Greg) Keen of Sparta, TN; seven grandchildren, Josh (Shannon) Arnold and Tiffany Sherrill of Manchester, TN, Kristy (Johnny) Walker and Payton Wimley of Hillsboro, TN, Lori Sherrill and Lane Meeks of McMinnville and Amy Bush of Clarksville, TN; two step-grandchildren, Britney Keen and Dakota Keen of White County, TN; three great-grandchildren, Ridley Arnold, Cody Esslinger, and Blake Walker of Coffee County; brother, Harold Eugene Wimley of Manchester; five sisters, Jennive Bryant of Tullahoma, TN, Lizzie Sanson, Mary Reed and Naomi Blocker of Coffee County and Barbara Mullinaz of Joelton, TN.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral service will be 3:00 P.M. Friday, April 11, 2014 in High’s Chapel with Michael Harris officiating.

Interment will follow in the New Brick Church of Christ Cemetery in Estill Springs, TN.  flower 12

flower4Mrs. Mildred E. Kelnhofer, age 89, of Franklin County, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2014.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, April 12 at 2 PM at the Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ray Cathey.

Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday from 11 AM until service time at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.

A native of Coffee County, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Ethel Houston Amos.

Mrs. Kelnhofer was a member of the Christian Friendship Church of Tullahoma. She was a homemaker and caregiver who loved to cook. She enjoyed crafting, antiquing, reading and gardening. Her favorite flowers were roses. She loved spending time with her family and reading her Bible.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Rev. Harold R. Kelnhofer and one Flower 9daughter, Anna Elise Kelnhofer.

Mrs. Kelnhofer is survived by four sons, James and Gary Kelnhofer , both of Tullahoma, Joe Kelnhofer and his wife, Diane of Pine Bluff, AR and Phillip Kelnhofer of Estill Springs; one daughter, Mary Joyce Cyree and her husband, Jimmy of Decherd; two half- brothers, Eugene Amos of Tullahoma and Jack Amos of Moore Co.; one half-sister, Sue Gilliam of Franklin County; twelve grandchildren ; twenty-one great grandchildren and one great great grandchildren.
