7/9/14 —– James “Jamie” Richard Daniel

James “Jamie” Richard Daniel, age 41 of Manchester passed away, Saturday, July 5, 2015 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at 2 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Danny Anderson officiating.

Burial will follow at Beans Creek Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, July 9, 2014 from 11:00 AM until time of service.at the funeral home.

Mr. Daniel was born in Ringold, Georgia, he was the son of the late Troy Daniel and Helen Thomas Hazel of Murfreesboro.

He was a mechanic and iron worker. Jamie enjoyed working on vehicles, motorcycle riding, fishing, hunting and playing with his dogs, Rascal, Chewy, Peaches and Bonnie.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents Charles and Betty Thomas and Bud and Hazel Daniel and one sister Tammy Renee Daniel.

Jamie is survived by his wife Lori Toneff Daniel; his mother and step-father Helen and Charles Hazel of Murfreesboro; one daughter Hannah Noel Daniel Shows of Santa Fe, New Mexico; two step- sons, J.D. and Michael Sutton both of Tullahoma; 2 brothers, Troy Lee Daniel of Tullahoma and Rocky Hazel of Smyrna; three sisters, Nancy Ann Hazel of Murfreesboro, Rebecca Mangrum and husband Andrew of Gladeville, TN., Marie Thompson and husband Danny of Shelbyville, Tennessee and one granddaughter, Lacey.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.

7/11/14 —— Allard J. “Al” Heath Jr.

Memorial services for Mr. Allard J. “Al” Heath Jr., age 61, of Tullahoma will be conducted at 7:00 PM, Friday, July 11, 2014 at Tullahoma Funeral Home.

Visitation with the family will be held from 4:00 PM until service time.

Mr. Heath died Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. 

He leaves his wife, Debra (Robidoux) Heath of Spencer; two daughters, Melissa Rhinehart of Tullahoma, TN and Wendy Heath of Lewisburg, TN; his step-father, Harvey E. Bennett of Putnam; his brothers, Steven M. Heath of Thompson, Curt D. Heath of Putnam, Jamie J. Heath and his wife Debra of Putnam, Scott J. Bennett and his wife Misty of Putnam; his sisters, Joyce A. Cote of Putnam, Brenda J. Heath of Putnam and Heidi N. Bennett of Putnam; eight grandchildren, Zachary York, Jade Rhinehart, Jameson Rhinehart, Mackenzie Heath, Madison Heath, Jasmine Rhineheart, Jeannine Rhineheart and Jayden Black; a step-son, Tony Binici and step-daughter, Rita Ho; an uncle, Raymond Heath and his wife Lorena of Pomfret; one aunt, Lydia Castonguay of Woodstock; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by a brother, Eugene “Huey” Heath in 1974. 

Al was born in Putnam on January 31, 1953, son of the late Allard J. “Red” Heath Sr., who died in 1998 and Alma E. “Elsie” (Lanaville) Bennett, who died in 1997. He lived in Putnam most of his life, also living in Lisbon, NH, Worcester, Spencer and Tullahoma, TN. He worked for many years at Central Supply in Putnam and Worcester. While in Tullahoma, Al worked at Tepro. 

flower 12Al enjoyed country music. He was a self taught musician and played guitar, bass guitar and steel guitar. He was a vocalist in several local country bands, playing weddings, anniversaries and partys. He recorded several songs, including a song he wrote entitled “I Never Want To Make You Cry”.

veteran --- Flag 2Mr. Homer Elgie Bevill age 89, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014 at his residence in Bell Buckle, Tennessee.

Mr. Bevill retired from Blue Bell Boot Company and U.S. Tobacco Company He served in the United States Army. Mr. Bevill enjoyed gardening, raising chickens and goats. He loved visiting with his family in East Tennessee. Homer loved talking with people and never met a stranger.

He was preceed in death by his wife Gladys Bevill as well as his parents John Bevill and Lucy Hopkins Bevill.

He is survived by three sons; Louis Dean Bevill and wife Janice of Bell Buckle, Tennessee, Charles Ray Bevill of Tullahoma and Troy Rex Bevill and wife Debbie of Lafayette, Tennessee.

Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Lebanon Cemetery in Lincoln County, Tennessee.

7/7/14 —— Ricky J. Massingille

Mr. Ricky J. Massingille, age 57 of Tullahoma, passed away Friday, July 4, 2014.

Visitation with the family will be Monday, July 7, 2014 from 5 – 8 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.

Mr. Massingille, a native of Manchester, was the son of the late Alfred J. Massingille and Frieda Ray Mangrum of Tullahoma.

He was a truck driver who enjoyed working on automobiles and riding motorcycles.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons, Kanawful Massingille and his wife, Jessica of Tullahoma and Jordan Massingille of Tullahoma; one daughter, Shelby Massingille of Tullahoma; two brothers, James Massingille and his wife, Pam of Manchester and Gary Massingille and his wife, Annie of Tullahoma and five grandchildren.

7/7/14 —– Davy Tell Wall

Mr. Davy Tell Wall, age 26, of Tullahoma, TN., passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014, at Heritage Medical Center in Shelbyville, TN.

Davy was born in Winchester, TN. and was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Moore County.

He was an employee of Nissan and had previously worked at Sanford in Shelbyville for 7 years. He loved UT Football and was a huge sports fanatic. He enjoyed UFC Mixed Martial Arts, was a junior black belt, and was a member of the Franklin County Middle School and High School Football Teams. Davy was a very kind, caring, thoughtful person who enjoyed helping people.

He is preceded in death by his brother Devin Wall, grandmother Adela B. Crosslin, uncle Sam Crosslin, all of Tullahoma, and great-grandfather Buddy Baxter. 


He is survived by his parents David and Cheryl Crosslin Wall of Tullahoma, TN., brothers Forrester and Isaiah Wall of Tullahoma, TN., grandparents David and Pat Wall of Tullahoma, TN., great grandmother Ethel Baxter, Uncle and Aunt Jeff and Rene Short of Lewisburg, Uncle and Aunt Phil and Tammy Baxter, Uncle and Aunt Jean Byrom of Selma, Alabama, numerous cousins and many, many friends. 

Visitation with the family of Mr. Davy Wall will be Sunday evening, July 6, 2014, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM in the Tullahoma Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 AM Monday, July 7, 2014, in the Tullahoma Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Wall officiating.

Burial will follow in Short Cemetery in Marshall County, TN.

Mr. Leonard Blackburn, “Pa”, age 90 of Shelbyville, TN passed away peacefully, Friday, July 4 surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral services will be held, Tuesday, July 8 at 11 AM at the Lynchburg Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Cantrell officiating.

Burial will follow at Rose Bank Cemetery in the Flat Creek Community.

Visitation with the family will be Monday, July 7, 2014 from 5-8 PM at the Lynchburg Funeral Home.

A native of Franklin County, TN, he was the son of the late Walter and Annie Mae Cannon Blackburn.

He was the owner/operator of A & B Auto & Truck Repair, Inc and B & G Upholstery & Trim, both of Nashville. He enjoyed farming, but most of all he enjoyed working.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sally Irene Burt Blackburn; two brothers, Sonny and JR Blackburn and three sisters, Josephine Blackburn, Mabel Thomas and Lorene Phillips.flower7

Mr. Blackburn is survived by his daughter, Linda Morelock and her husband, Roy of Brentwood; two brothers, Billy Joe Blackburn and his wife, Katherine of Lynchburg and Roger Blackburn of Antioch; one sister, Marie Gross of Antioch; two grandchildren, Terry Morelock and his wife, Janet of Murfreesboro and Crystall Tobin and her husband, Jeff of Smyrna and five great grandchildren.

7/6/14 —– Clyde Henry Hayner Sr.

 

Clyde Henry Hayner Sr. of Fayetteville and Estill Springs, TN passed this life on Thursday, July 3rd, 2014 at his residence at the age of 75.

 

Mr. Hayner was born in Hamburg, MI to the late Harold Clyde Hayner, and Clara Wingate Hayner.

 

He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War where he received the rank of Sgt. First Class. After his retirement from the Army, Mr. Hayner worked for NASA as an electronic engineer. During his life, Mr. Hayner was a member of the VFW, American Legion, The SUVCW (Sons of the Union Veterans of the Civil War), and was a Mason.

 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hayner is preceded in death by one daughter, Shirley Ann; and three sons, Mike Hayner, David Hayner, and David Tinsley.

 

He is survived by his loving wife, Dawn Hayner of Fayetteville; two daughters, Jeanne Howard and her husband Mike of Glen Burnie, MD, and Dawn Richardson and her husband Ryan of Lewisburg, TN; three sons, Clyde “Butch” Hayner of Michigan, Brian Hayner and his wife Pam of Fayetteville, and Donovan “Donnie” Tinsley and his wife Esther “Yellow Bird” of Davenport, Iowa; three sisters, Sharon Morris and her husband Jimmy, Kitty Richards and her husband David, and Karen Richards; one brother, David Harmon and his wife Inez; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

 

Visitation for Mr. Hayner will be held on Monday, July 7th from 12:00-2:00 pm at Kilgore Funeral Home with a service to immediately follow at 2:00 pm with Masonic rites and full military honors.

She was preced in death by her parents, the late Samuel Paul Shelton and Vennie Lou Tinney Fults Shelton; sister, Connie Shelton; and brother, Earl Shelton. She is survived by her sister, Pearl Shelton Dill and her husband Troy of South Lake, Texas; two brothers, Benny Shelton of Hillsboro, TN and Keath Shelton of Jeffersonville, Indiana; two nieces, Michelle Dill and Pepper Shelton; nephew, Troy Dill, Jr.; and a host of other relatives and friends. 7/6/14 — Lilbern Clifton Rutledge

Lilbern Clifton Rutledge  Bell +í…ñ-ÛLilbern Clifton Rutledge of Moore County, TN, age 89, passed this life July 4, 2014. Born in Lincoln County on March 28, 1925, he was the son of the late William Christopher Rutledge and Ella Kathryn Mitchell Pearce.

He was a World War II army veteran of the 90th Division who proudly served his country. He loved God, his family, his country, and his farm. He was a long time member of County Line Church of Christ in Moore County.

Mr. Rutledge is preceded in death by two sisters, Frances Howard and Dorothy Oleniczek , five brothers; Wallace “Bud” Rutledge, J.D. Rutledge, Dewey Rutledge, Billy Rutledge and David Rutledge.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Thelma Juanita Rutledge, daughters; Carol (Jimmy) Burton and Bonnie (Ronnie) Darnell of Moore County; grandchildren, Trent (Quintina) Burton of Murfreesboro, Meredith Burton of Moore County, and James Darnell of Washington, D.C. ; great-grandchildren, Tristyn and Aliya Burton of Murfreesboro, one sister, Mary Elizabeth “Bob” Warren of Petersburg; and three brothers, Don (Rosie) Rutledge of Tullahoma, Fred Rutledge of Moore County and Paul (Deloris) Rutledge of Nevada, and many special nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted July 6, 2014, at Lynchburg Funeral Home at 2:00 PM with Leo Bechard and Richard Logan officiating.

Interment will be in the Lynchburg Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday evening, July 5, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lynchburg Funeral Home.

He was retired from Lite Rider Trailers in Tullahoma, was a heavy equipment operator and was a US Army Veteran.
