3/25/15 —- Mary Rachel Foster

flower vase 2Mrs. Mary Rachel Foster, age 69, of Manchester, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at St. Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date.

Mrs. Foster was born in Hillsboro, TN, the daughter of the late John and Lottie Osborne Tucker.

She was a homemaker and owner/operator at A1 Phone Secretary. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Mary is survived by her husband of 49 years, Robert M. Foster; two sons, Randy (Patricia) Foster and Douglas Foster, both of Manchester; three sisters, Joyce Randolph and Ruth Medley, both of Estill Springs, and Betty Wimberly of Frostproof, FL; and three grandchildren, Krystina Bowen, Nasha Foster, and Keith Foster.

3/31/15 ——- Jerry Franklin Little

Jerry Franklin Little, Age 64 of LaVergne, TN passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015 surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Born February 25, 1951 in Atmore, AL, he was the first born of the late John Marshall Little, Sr. and Edna Mae (Hicks) Little.

Jerry graduated from Baldwin County High School in Bay Minette, AL, and the College of the South in Pascagoula, MS. He worked in the trucking industry for several years in Mobile, A, then as General Manager for King Arthur Clock Company in Fairhope, AL. He later was the Manager of NWC-TV in Nashville, TN.

Jerry had a heart of gold and was always helping others. He was known for his kindness and never met a stranger. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He enjoyed gardening, listening to music, and reading. He was a serious student of American political history, but most of all he was an avid fisherman. Jerry especially loved to go fishing with his brother Johnny.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sandra Fowler Little; his daughter Teresa (Toby) Earnest of Pooler, GA, and his step-son Larry (Sara) Wilson Jr. of Lake Forest, AL; his brother John M. (Rhonda) Little, Jr. of Bay Minette, AL; his sisters Jo Anne (Dan) Burrage of Spanish Fort, AL, Myra (Bruce) Moran of Bay Minette, AL, and Pam Brooks of Semmes, AL; four grandchildren, Emma Earnest, Mac Earnest, Taylor Wilson, and Wade Wilson.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 31 with visitation from 1:00-2:30 pm and funeral services to immediately follow at 2:30 pm at Norris Funeral Home in Bay Minette, AL with Dr. Henry Cox officiating.

Graveside services will follow at Fairhope Memory Gardens.

3/25/15 —- Suzanne Talley Stone

Memorial services for Suzanne Talley Stone, age 74, of Tullahoma will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday at First Christian Church in Tullahoma.

Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday evening at Tullahoma Funeral Home from 5:00 PM till 7:00 PM.

There will be an hour of visitation at the church before the service.

A private burial will occur at a later date.

Mrs. Stone left this life to live forever with her lord on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Harton Regional Medical Center.

She is the daughter of the late Charles L. Talley Jr. and Jessica Nell Bartlett Talley.

Mrs. Stone was a 1958 graduate of Isaac Litton High School in Nashville. She retired from West Middle School in 1999 after serving as the school’s attendance secretary for 16 years. Mrs. Stone was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. The family request in lieu of flowers that memorial donations be made to the First Christian Church Building Fund.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Harold Dean Stone, daughter, Jennifer (Allen) Bean, son, Michael Andrew Stone, grandchildren, Houston Burt, Hayley Burt and Katy Bean all of Tullahoma, numerous nieces and nephews.

4/4/15 —– William Edward Raline Jr.

William Edward Raline Jr., passed this life on Sunday, March 22nd, 2015 in McMinnville, Tennessee at the age of 72.

Mr. Raline was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts to the late William E. and Helen Hall Raline Sr.

Mr. Raline served his country in the United States Army and went on to become a photographer with Bill Raline Photography. He was a Jehovas Witness and also worked for the Tullahoma Housing Authority.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Raline is preceded in death by two sons, James Aaron Raline and John Allen Raline.

He is survived by one son, William E. Raline III of Decherd; three daughters, Tammie Sue Raline of Tullahoma, Rebecca Ann Plattenburg and her husband Nick of Estill Springs, and Joy Pursell and her husband James of Crossville, Alabama; two sisters, Elizabeth Raline of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, and Patricia Hoctor of Mahomet, Illinois; and six grandchildren, Cory, Spencer, Abigail, Mikayla, Guiliana, and Jesse.

Visitation for Mr. Raline will be held on Saturday, April 4th, 2015 from 11:00 am-1:00 pm with the funeral service to immediately follow at 1:00 pm in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs. Ruby Jean Nettles, age 72 of Manchester, Tennessee, passed from this life on Monday, March 23, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Nettles was preceded in death by her first husband, Jackson R. Burks, her parents, Nathan Lawson and Mary Mattie Broyles Ferrell, two sisters, Frances Qualls, Rosa Lee Cawthorn, and two brothers Horace Ferrell and Jimmy Lee Ferrell.

She is survived by her loving husband Tommy Nettles, two daughters, Cotanda Burks of Manchester, Tennessee, Attonda Barnes and husband Ricky of McMinnville, Tennessee, one son, Jeff Burks and wife Michelle of Manchester, Tennessee, two sisters, Mary Jessie Frazier and husband Marshall of Hammond, Indiana, Clara Harvey and husband Harry of Manchester, Tennessee, one brother, Roy Ferrell and wife Laura of Manchester, Tennessee, five grandchildren, Cherita Murray and husband Chris of Morrison, Tennessee Brittany Brooks and husband Codey of Manchester, Tennessee, Chelsey McFarland and husband Travis of Manchester, Tennessee, Martin Jackson Anderson of Manchester, Tennessee, Brooke Burks of Manchester, Tennessee, five great grandchildren, Braylon, Weston, Logan, Hayden, Connor, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Mrs. Nettles was a lifelong member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church in Manchester, Tennessee. She worked as a nurse’s aide for many years, caring for others. Ruby was a life member of the VFW and she enjoyed cooking, fishing and hunting. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who was referred to as “Nanny” by her dear family. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Ruby J. Nettles will be conducted on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Pastor Brandon Stutts officiating.

Burial will follow at the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, Tullahoma, Tennessee.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Coffee County Funeral Chapel, Manchester, Tennessee and on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 from 8:00 AM until the time of the service.

3/24/15 —– Robert Lee Barber

Mr. Robert Lee Barber, age 69 of Beach Grove, Tennessee passed away, Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Horizon Health and Rehab in Manchester.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 2 PM at the Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home Chapel with Tony Akers officiating.

Burial will follow at Ragsdale Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 12:00 PM until time of service.

Robert was a good father and provider for his family. He enjoyed farm work and working with race horses. Robert enjoyed old cars and going to the mountains. In years past Robert traveled with the carnival for several years.

He is survived by his wife, Roxanne Denise Akers; son William Michael Barber of Salisbury, N.C.; sister Bonnie Mae; grandchildren Caison and Jaxton Elgouhary and Scottie Williams; stepson, Austin Mayton of Manchester; stepdaughter, Leticia Akers of Manchester and special friends, Glen Espey and Bridgette Wiser of Beech Grove and Tony Akers of Tullahoma.

3/23/15 —— Howard Lewis Sanders

Howard Lewis Sanders, age 66 of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away on March 20, 2015.

Mr. Sanders was retired from the Coffee County School System.

He was born in Tracy City, TN to his parents, the late Lloyd “Buddy” Sanders and Louella Owens Sanders. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Elaine Sanders in 2012; and sisters, Ella Rose Anderson and Lucy Collins.

He is survived by his daughter, Pamela E. Winton and her husband Randy of Manchester, TN; two grandchildren, Mikenzie Champion (Steven) and Ryan Winton (Taylor); two great-grandchildren, Sydney Winton and Lillian Champion; sisters, Mary Catherine Anderson, Imogene Stevens and Sally Ann Dove; brothers, Lloyd Edward Sanders, Earl Wayne Sanders and Glen Ed Sanders; and a host of other relatives and friends.

3/19/15 —– Helen Catherine Overbaugh

Helen Catherine Overbaugh, age 97 of Fayetteville, Tennessee passed away, Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Donalson Care Center in Fayetteville.

No services are scheduled

Mrs. Overbaugh, a native of Missouri, was the daughter of the late William Casey and Edith Mae Ashworth Wallace.

She worked for many years making fishing lures.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Geneive Marie Armstrong; two brothers, Jr. “Bill” Wallace and Frederick Wallace and one sister, Dorothy Stuart.

Mrs. Overbaugh is survived by one son, Jack Hilt and his wife, Beth Ann of Fayetteville; one daughter, Carol Shepard and her husband, Mark of Bauxite, AR; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Isabelle Pack Kirk age 61 of Tullahoma, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Life Care Center of Tullahoma.

Funeral services will be held at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at 2:00 PM, with burial to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Kirk is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee Pack and Katie Stevens Pack; her husband Robert Kirk; five brothers James Edward Pack, Barney Ray Pack, Robert Lee ”Buggy” Pack, Jr., David Daniel Pack, Carl Pack and Steven Leon Pack as well as one sister, Katie Mae Pack.

Mrs. Kirk is survived by two daughters, Victoria Hernaduez and Maria Hernaduez both of McMinnville, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Valarie Hernaduez and Mariah Hernaduez; one brother Charles Lee Pack and wife Rosie Lee of Manchester; two sisters Evelyn Louise Warren and husband Danny of the Flat Creek Community and Patricia Ann Slone and husband Jerry of Tullahoma as well as many loving nieces, nephews and other family members.

Isabelle worked at Hawkersmith Nursery and she loved flowers and working in her flower gardens. She loved children, collecting angels, cooking and decorating.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the memorial fund at Daves-Culbertson.

3/28/15 —– Mary Ann Betts

Mary Ann Betts, age 87, passed this life on Wednesday, March 18th, 2015 at Brookdale Tullahoma Assisted Living Facility.

Mrs. Betts was born in Embarrass, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Merritt and Margaret Ehlert Devlin. She was the wife of the late Boyd Barton Betts who passed away in 2006.

During her life, Mrs. Betts worked in various retail positions, including being the manager of a Hallmark Gold Crown Store before retiring and moving to Yuma Arizona.   After moving to Tullahoma, she became a member of Faith Lutheran Church, and worked with the Tullahoma City School System’s Kool Kids Program. Mrs. Betts was a former volunteer at Harton Regional Medical Center in the Gift Shop, the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League, the Altar Guild, and Human Care Ministries.

Mrs. Betts is survived by four daughters, Vickie Osterloh and her husband Steve of Maryland Heights, Missouri, Jean Root and her husband Pete of Tullahoma, Susan Trethewey and her husband Bill of Lake George, Colorado, Cheryl Ruska and her husband Cal of Brule, Wisconsin; one son, David Betts of Brown Deer, Wisconsin; sisters, Wanda Gustafson of Appleton, Wisconsin, Linda Baerwald of Oshkosh Wisconsin, and Sandy Bartow of Graham, Washington; two brothers, Wayne Devlin of Pine River Wisconsin, and Dennis Devlin of Eatonville, Washington; nine grandchildren, Jennifer Jennings and her husband Mike of St. Charles, Missouri, Steve Davis and his wife Jesse of St. Louis, Missouri, Mat Root and his wife Tracie of Old Hickory, Tennessee, Julie Sanders and her husband Alan of West Chester, Pennsylvania, Nicole Trethewey of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Paul Kramer and his wife Julie of Rothschild, Wisconsin, Christy Ferguson and her husband Scott of Superior, Wisconsin, Cathy Hansen and her husband Cory of Superior, Wisconsin, and Kyle Betts of Brown Deer, Wisconsin; and 18 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her step-mother, Valinda Devlin.

Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, March 28th, 2015 at Faith Lutheran Church in Tullahoma from 1:00-2:00 pm with a memorial service immediately following at 2:00 pm with Pastor Marty Nutter officiating.

There will be a meal following the service for those who would like to attend.

For those who wish, donations may be made in memory of Mary Ann Betts to the Building Expansion Fund at Faith Lutheran Church, 101 Bragg Circle, Tullahoma, Tennessee, or to your favorite charity.
