8/13/15 —- Joyce Faye Tucker

Visitation services for Mrs. Joyce Faye Tucker, age 77, of Manchester, will be conducted from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Manchester Funeral Home.

Mrs. Tucker passed away Monday evening at her residence in Manchester.

Joyce was born in Idabel, OK, the daughter of the late William and Opal Dean Frey.

In earlier years, she was employed at PCA Apparel as a clothing cutter. Joyce loved fishing and quilting, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry Tucker; one daughter, Mary Stephens; one granddaughter, Amanda Stephens; one sister, Cybil Mimbs; and three brothers, Doyle, T.H., and Marlin Frey.

She is survived by one daughter, Deborah Ferrell of Manchester; one sister, Norma (Roger) Sanford of Kilbourne, LA; grandchildren, Justin Ferrell of Manchester, Tina (Jesse) Stacy of Tullahoma, and Amber Mittasch (Michael) of Trinity, TX; and great grandchildren, Colton Stephens of Manchester, Brodie Stacy, Kylee Ferrell, and Dalainah Ferrell, all of Tullahoma.flower 26

flower 11Terry D. Mooningham, age 52 of Tullahoma, Tennessee passed away, Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Harton Regional Medical Center.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 12 at 2 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with burial to follow at Willow Mount Cemetery in Shelbyville.

Visitation with the family will be from 12 PM until the service time.

Mr. Mooningham, a native of Shelbyville, was the son of the late Claude and Janice Burgess Mooningham.

He enjoyed playing cards and watching TV. He especially loved watching football games on TV.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Joe Mooningham.

He is survived by his wife, Mykki Ussery of Tullahoma; three sons, Terry “T J” Mooningham Jr, Timothy Mooningham and Troy Brewer, all of Tullahoma; two brothers, Greg Mooningham and his wife, Michelle of Mississippi and Calvin Mooningham of Gary, IN and two sisters, Ellen Clay and her husband, Chris of Shelbyville and Creda Tucker of Tullahoma.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the memorial fund at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.

After a blessed life filled with traveling, friends and family, Mrs. Jo Ann Henry passed away peacefully Monday, August 10, 2015.

She was born March 25, 1926 to the late Joe and Irene Harris.

Mrs. Henry was a member of First United Methodist Church in Tullahoma, the AEDC Women’s Club and volunteered with many blood drives at the American Red Cross. She loved to travel and enjoyed playing bridge as well as gardening.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Clarence Joseph Henry Sr; and daughter Martha Ann Shallenberg.

Mrs. Henry is survived by a brother, George Harris of Knoxville, TN; a son Clarence Joseph Henry Jr. (Jackie) of Tullahoma; 4 grandchildren, Ruth Ann Rebutoc (Leandro) of Calgary, Canada, Amanda Merrell of Lynchburg, Brian Henry (Tamarra) of Tullahoma and Clarence Joseph Henry III of Tullahoma; 5 great grandchildren, Paul and Jaden Henry of Tullahoma and Kiara, Dakoda and Trinity Merrell of Lynchburg.

Visitation for Mrs. Henry will be held on Saturday, August 15th, 2015 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 11:00 am-2:00 pm with the funeral service to immediately follow in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm with Rev. Paul Purdue officiating.

Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

8/8/15 —- Warren Frederick Mann II

Warren Frederick Mann II, age 61 of Normandy, Tennessee passed away, Saturday, August 8, 2015 at his residence.

No services are scheduled.

Mr. Mann, a native of Norfolk, VA, was the son of Warren Frederick Mann I of Normandy and the late Juanita McLain Mann.

He was a U S Marine veteran, serving in Vietnam. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching TV. He was an avid Duke basketball fan and enjoyed watching the games on TV.veteran3

In addition to his father, he is survived by one son, Keaton Mann of Normandy and two sisters, Lorna Juanita Clews of Normandy and Lorretta Dorothea Westbrook of Durham, NC.

Funeral services for Mr. Charles Bradford Jones, age 52 of Manchester will be conducted at 1:00pm, Tuesday, August 11 at the Manchester Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow in the Fountain Grove Cemetery.

Visitation with the Jones family will be from 10:00 AM Tuesday until service time at Manchester Funeral Home.

Mr. Jones passed this life Friday at his home.

Mr. Jones was born in Manchester Tennessee the son of the late Alonzo Howard Jones and Margaret Minerva McDowell Jones.

He was a Logger by trade, and love fishing, Indian Heritage and history, and was known as a jack of all trades. Most of all he loved children and they loved him.

In addition to his parents, Charles was also preceded in death by three siblings, Richard Dale jones, Rita S. Smith and Lonnie Howard Jones.

Gladys Ruth Lowry, age 88 of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away Friday, August 7, 2015 at Bailey Manor in Manchester.

Mrs. Lowry was born in Chattanooga, TN to the late James Andrew and Mary Jane Bullard on October 1, 1926.

She retired from the Coffee County Election Commission in Manchester and was a member of the Forest Mill Church of Christ.

Gladys married Vance R. Lowry July 22, 1960. They had two sons.

She is survived by her son, Jeff Lowry and his wife Kristy ; grandson, Ryan Lowry; great granddaughter, Owen Kate Lowry; and grandson, Tyler Lowry all of Lubbock, Texas.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Judge Vance R. Lowry; son, Mark Lowry; two brothers, Ben and James “Jim”; and sister, Naomi.

8/12/15 — Yvonne Donnoe

Yvonne Donnoe, age 85 of Tullahoma, passed away on Wednesday, August 5 at Trevacca Health and Rehab Center in Nashville.

Yvonne was born in St. Louis, Missouri on May 16, 1930 to the late Arthur and Carrie Morris.

She graduated from Kirkwood High School, Harris Teacher School, and earned a certificate in Special Education from Fontbonne University in St. Louis. She received her Master’s in Education from Texas Women’s University of Denton, Texas. For over 30 years, she spent hours devoted to her passion of teaching children to read either as a private or public school teacher or community volunteer. She was long term member of Phi Delta Kappa.

She loved maintaining her lovely gardens which were the envy of the neighbors. Her hobbies included sewing, crocheting, knitting, and traveling. Yvonne loved visiting schools of other countries and was an avid bridge player at Tullahoma Senior Citizen Center. She was proud fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, Notre Dame football and her grandsons’ soccer games. She also enjoyed volunteering at St. Paul’s Catholic Church.

Yvonne is survived by her three daughters: Patti Kamykowski of Estill Springs, Tennessee, Andre’ Schafer of Tonganoxie, Kansas, and Elain Donnoe of Coralville, Iowa; 6 grandchildren, Chris, Jeff, Gary and Dan Kamykowski, Alexis Vincent, and Josh Donnoe, and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by her younger sister Beryl Shahan of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.

Funeral mass for Yvonne will be at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Tullahoma, at 10 AM on Wednesday, August 12, 2015.

Entombment of ashes will be at Resurrection Cemetery in St. Louis, Saturday, August 15, 2015.

For those who wish to make donations in Yvonne’s memory, they can be made to the Tullahoma Senior Citizens Center, Lannom Library, or educational charity of your choice.

8/91/5 — Lucy Faye Baskin Hollis

Lucy Faye Baskin Hollis of Tullahoma, passed this life on August 6, 2015, at NHC in Tullahoma at the age of 71.

Lucy was born March 4, 1944 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, to the late Grover Cleveland ‘GC’ Baskin and Alice ‘Dolly’ Dye Baskin.flower 24

She was a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, where she received a Bachelor’s of Arts degree and used her creative talents and love for the arts by serving as the Executive Director of the Tullahoma Fine Arts Center hosting exhibits, teaching classes, and organizing the Arts & Crafts Festival for many years. She also had previously taught Art at Tullahoma High School. She loved trips with family members to the Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC) in Nashville on Sundays after church. Lucy generously served on numerous civic and community volunteer organizations including: the Tennessee Arts Commission, AEDC Women’s Club, Tennessee Backroad’s Heritage Board of Directors, National Water Color Society, Morning Rotary, and was a previous winner of the Tullahoma Kiwanis ‘Citizen of The Year Award’. Lucy enjoyed animals, especially dogs and Tennessee walking horses, and cherished time with family and friends at horse shows. She was a member of the Church of Christ at Cedar Lane in Tullahoma.

She is survived by two sisters: Frankie Baskin Stentz of Germantown, Tennessee and Maxie ‘Susie’ Baskin Manning (husband Mike) of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; one brother: Jerry Cleveland Baskin (wife Kathy) of Marietta, Georgia; one daughter: Michelle Hollis Keller (husband Ken) of Tullahoma, Tennessee; and two sons: Gregory Darin Hollis (wife Becca) of Gallatin, Tennessee, and Jeffrey Dixon Hollis (wife Ashley) also of Gallatin, Tennessee; and seven grandchildren: Kelsey Jo, Darin Dixon, and Lucas William Keller; Evelyn Claire and Anabel Olivia Hollis; Georgia Goodwin and Hayes MacLaren Hollis; and one great grandson Kayden Dallas.

Visitation for Ms. Hollis will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Saturday, August 8th at Tullahoma Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday also at Tullahoma Funeral Home with Minister Patrick Allison officiating.

Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

Michael Joseph Brown, age 35 of Tullahoma, Tennessee passed away, Saturday, August 1, 2015 in McMinnville, TN.

Memorial Services will be held Sunday, August 9 at 2 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.

Visitation with the family will be from 1 PM until the service time.

Mr. Brown, a native of Tullahoma, was the son of David Brown of Tullahoma and Angela Diane Finchum Brown of Winchester.

He had worked for Gilley’s Construction in Manchester. He enjoyed outdoor activities, including fly fishing, swimming, hiking and skating. He was a prankster and enjoyed joking with his friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Wayne Finchum and by his paternal grandparents, Archie and Dean Brown.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, David Brown and his wife, Angie of Normandy and Doug Brown of Tullahoma; one sister, Jennifer Swann and her husband, Dennis of Tullahoma; maternal grandmother and step grandfather, John and Louise Davidson and sevennieces and nephews, Robert, Nikki, Kirsty, Kelsey, Kayla, Emma and Karleigh.

Burial will follow at Adam Duncan Cemetery in Manchester.

Mrs. Perry, a native of Coffee County, was the daughter of the late Howard Evans and Selena Cathey Byford.

She attended Canvas Community Church in Manchester. She was actively involved in the Right to Life Movement and hosted the March for Jesus in Manchester. She enjoyed attending various women’s retreats and prayer groups. Her favorite activity was spending time with her beloved family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Randall Evans Perry.

She is survived by one daughter, Debbie Peck and her husband, David of Manchester; one brother, Wendell Byford and his wife, Jean of Manchester; one sister, Roxy Byford of Manchester; four grandchildren, Wendy McGowan and her husband, Mike of Manchester, David Peck and his wife, McKenzie of Roanoake, VA, Randall Evans Perry Jr. and his wife, Carol of Temperance, Michigan and Laura Hicks and her husband, Danny of Michigan and twelve great grandchildren.
