Helen Geneva Greene

Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Geneva Greene, age 82 of Manchester, will be conducted at 1:00PM on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at Manchester Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Blanton’s Chapel Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 4:00PM until 7:00PM on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at the funeral home.  Mrs. Greene passed from this life on Thursday, November 11, 2021, in Murfreesboro, TN.

Geneva was born in Bedford County on March 1, 1939, the daughter of the late Louis and Flora Vickers.  She was a homemaker for many years taking care of her children before becoming a bookkeeper.  She would make custom cakes for friends and family, and she coached girls’ softball.  Geneva loved going to Florida with her family and watching the Atlanta Braves play.  She always had a smile on her face. Geneva loved her family and friends more than anything.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Geneva is also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Frank “Buck” Greene; brothers, Donald Vickers, Chalmer Vickers, and James Vickers; sister, Katherine Vickers Ray.  She is survived by her son, Frank Greene (Laura); daughters, Janet Greene Monroe (David) and Debbie Driver; grandchildren, Nicole, Robert, Kenny, LyTisha, Patricia, Kayla, David, Jared, Brittany, and Isabell; 11 great-grandchildren.

Martha Lou Jones

Mrs. Martha Lou Jones, age 77, of Manchester, TN, passed from this life on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at her residence.

Mrs. Jones was born in Manchester, TN, to her late parents Lemuel E. Jones
and Soda Loene Brown Jones. She was a homemaker in recent years and loved
being around her kids and grandkids. Mrs. Jones adored her animals and
would take in any stray that came around. She would help anyone and was a
big-hearted person.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her children, Randall (Marietta) Walden, Jeff
Walden, Kathy Rogers, Jeannie (Clint) Walker; grandchildren, Dusty, Amy,
Nicki, Daniel, Jacob, Angie, Tiffany, Laura, Jamie, Willard, Eric,
Michelle, Amanda (Jared), Marsha (Matt), Joseph (McKenzie); great
grandchildren, Phillip, Jaylen, Eathen, Lucas, Lil Eric, Bethany, Logan,
Aiden, Paislynn, Tucker, Sadie Jo, Darren, Makayla, Destiny, Isla, Nash,
Coughlin.

Visitation with the family will be on Monday, November 15, 2021, from
4:00pm until 8:00pm at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, TN. Funeral
services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, from the chapel
of Central Funeral Home with Randall Walden and Chuck Hopkins officiating.
Burial will follow in Ragsdale Cemetery in Manchester, TN.

Larry Delane Thomas Sr.

In loving memory of Mr. Larry Delane Thomas Sr., (April 19th, 1942 – November 8th, 2021) age 79, of Manchester, TN went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 8, 2021, at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN. Mr. Thomas was born in Hillsboro, TN, to his late parents Leon Richard Thomas and Villies Vodreen Layne Thomas. He began his career
in car sales at David Gold Chevrolet in Manchester in the late 1960’s. After the passing of David Gold he worked at Al White Motors for Mr. Al White and family, where he retired. Mr. Thomas came out of retirement in 2000 and started his own business, Larry Thomas Transportation in Manchester. He was a hard worker and enjoyed chatting with friends, family, and customers who often stopped by the car lot to see him. He had a generous heart and often gave to others who needed help and direction in their life. He enjoyed being on his tractor and most importantly being present for his children and grandchildren in the activities they loved. Mr. Thomas loved spending time with his family making memories. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Richard Jimmy (Eva) Thomas and George Ellis (Helen) Thomas. Mr. Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Joanna Thomas; son, Delane (Rebecca) Thomas Jr.; daughter, Michelle (Tod) Thomas-Vandenbossche; brother, Johnny Keith Thomas (and special friend, Charlotte Morris); grandchildren, Kelsey Vandenbossche, Kirby Vandenbossche, and Cody Hagan. Visitation with the family will be held Saturday, November 13, 2021, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, TN. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at 2:00pm from the chapel of Central Funeral Home with Bro. John Daniel officiating. Cherry Ann Ellsworth Uselton Smith

Cherry Ann Ellsworth Uselton Smith of Tullahoma, TN passed this life on
Thursday, November 11, 2021, at the Life Care Center of Tullahoma at the
age of 74. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM on Saturday, November
13, 2021 at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with burial to follow at New
Redden’s Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until
the service time.

Cherry, a native of McMinnville, was the daughter of the late Ira Willis
and Susie Pelham Ellsworth. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church of
Tullahoma for over 45 years but was attending the Breakfree Worship Center.
She was also the Director of the Good Samaritan Ministry. She enjoyed
cooking, reading and doing word search puzzles. She enjoyed working and
providing for her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, John
Thomas Uselton and Willie D. Smith; son, Steven T. Uselton; brothers, Ira
Willis Ellsworth Jr and John Perry Ellsworth; sisters, Mary Lee England and
Rena Sue Land and grandson, Shane Wesley Uselton.

Cherry is survived by son, Kenny D W Uselton (Donna) of Tullahoma;
daughters, Lisa Page (Edward) of Cookeville and Angela Uselton of Normandy;
sister, Brenda March of Normandy; grandchildren, Michael Page ( Nicole) of
Nashville, Cortney Haviland (Scott) of Ashburn, VA, Megan Jones (Chris) of
Arizona, Cole Smith of Tullahoma, Samantha Jasper (Devin) of Tullahoma and
Danny Dewayne Uselton of Normandy and great grandchildren, Dexter Michael,
Madeleine Jane, Peyton, Kinsley, Aubree, Kaydence, Benjamin, Xander, Lylah,
Jase, Sean Kenji and Alice Isabelle Storm.

Patricia M Johnson

Patricia M Johnson of Tullahoma, TN passed this life on Thursday, November
11, 2021, at the Tennessee State Veteran’s Home in Murfreesboro at the age
of 80. Graveside services will be conducted at 1 PM on Monday, November 15,
2021 at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Belvidere, TN.  The family will receive
friends on Sunday evening, November 14, from 5 – 8 PM at Daves-Culbertson
Funeral Home.

Patricia, a native of Franklin County, was the daughter of the late Nath
and Lottie Hall Medley. She was an active member of her church, Wesley
Heights United Methodist Church and enjoyed reading, cooking and sewing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Bobby
Johnson; brothers, Leonard, Nath, Mic and Russell Medley and sisters, Irene
Duke, Melva Cogar and E. Ruby.

Patricia is survived by two sons, Phillip Johnson (Sherry) of Manchester
and Bill Johnson (Susan) of Pensacola, FL; sister, Betty Hunt of Tullahoma;
four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Morris Lynn Evans

Morris Lynn Evans, age 71, of Lynchburg passed this life on November 7,
2021 at his residence. Morris was born March 3, 1950 in Holden, West
Virginia to the late Earl Ervin Evans and Sibyl Mae Deskins Evans. In
addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Cora
Evans.

Mr. Evans was raised in Hurricane, West Virginia. He was a member of the
New Hope Baptist Church in Fairfield, TN and was a veteran of the U.S Army
(Vietnam). He loved old cars, but most of all he loved his family and
friends.

There are no services planned at this time.

Morris is survived by his wife, Patricia (Pat) Evans; son, Nathan (Candace)
Evans; daughter Amanda Evans (Colin Dalby); sisters, Saundra Long and
Debbie Arnold (Pokie); grandchildren, Emily Evans, Vassily Evans, Bear
Fletcher, Evan Dalby and Calum Dalby.

Vicki Lynn Orr

Ms. Vicki Lynn Orr, 64, passed away Sunday November 7, 2021, at the NHC of Tullahoma nursing home. She was born in Manchester, Tennessee on July 5, 1957.

She was a member of the Church of Christ and a loan officer at AEDC Credit
Union up until her health declined.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Carrick; doting
grandparents, R.I. “Buck” Riddle and Lillie Thaxton Riddle.

She is survived by her mother, Gwendolyn Riddle Carrick; a host of loving
cousins and many friends.

The family would like to recognize the staff at NHC and Compassus Hospice
Care for their care of Vicki.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon Wednesday in the funeral home
chapel with Minister Ralph Hart officiating with burial to follow in the
Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

Visitation: 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon Wednesday at Central Funeral Home,
Manchester, Tennessee.

Carolyn Marie Beaty

Mrs. Carolyn Marie Beaty, 68, passed away Thursday
November 4, 2021, at The Rutherford Assisted Living in Murfreesboro,
Tennessee. She was born in Cohutta, Georgia on November 1, 1953, to William
Gibson Sr. and Bertha Howell Gibson who preceded her in death along with
her husband, Henry Beaty; brother, William Gibson Jr; brother-in-law,
Frankie Beaty. She was a loving wife, mother and friend to many.

She loved to travel and spend time with her family. She is survived by her son Bo
Beaty; daughter, Brooke Beaty (Adam Pope) stepchildren, Brad (Gina) Beaty
and Beth (Doug) Dudash; brother, Stevie Gibson; sisters, Sue (Late Burton)
Lane, Sylvia (Mel) Sane. Joyce (Kenneth) Combs and Becky (Earl) Burnette;
grandchildren, Ryleigh and Keelie Pope, Victoria and Emily Beaty, Rachel
Beels (Dillon Parker); sister-in-law, Kathie (Terry) Whitwell; great
grandchildren, Haze, Oaklyn and Avanell; several nieces and nephews.

John Lemuel Crawley

Mr. John Lemuel Crawley, 79, passed away Saturday
November 6, 2021, at his home. He was born in Manchester, Tennessee on
February 16, 1942, to Howard L. Crawley and Josie N. Rogalle Crawley who
preceded him in death.

He was a US Army Veteran and retired from Carrier.

He is survived by his daughter, Amber Harris; sister, Sue (Late Charles)
Morris, grandchildren, Kayleigh (Tyler) Miller, Alyson Harris and Hayleigh
Harris; niece, Monica Fritch, Mercer, PA.

Elijah Wayne “Eli” DeFord

Mr. Elijah Wayne “Eli” DeFord, 22, passed away
Thursday November 4, 2021 at his home in Manchester, Tennessee. The beloved
family pets passed away peacefully by his side, Daisy and Lulu. He was born
in Tullahoma, Tennessee on April 9, 1999. He was a lineman working for
Barnett Southern in Georgia and was of the Baptist faith. He accepted Jesus
Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. He had a huge heart and
would help others’ without wanting any recognition. He had a bond with his
brother and sister like no other. They all loved to go ATV riding in the
mountains or in his jeep. He was an avid boater and loved anything
involving the water, which he got from his mother. Eli was free spirited
and marched to the beat of his own drum. He loved to travel. He had visited
many places in his young life and been on several adventures. Hawaii was
one of his favorite trips. He considered himself the best uncle in the
world, spoiling his little nephews. They loved their uncle Eli more than
anything. #notallwhowanderarelost He is survived by his parents, Devin and
Missy Davis DeFord; brother, Garrett (Brooke) DeFord; sister, Emily DeFord;
nephews, Waylon, Walt, Ridge and Russ; grandparents, Pamela White, Danny
Davis Sr., Steve and Linda DeFord; great grandmother, Melva Lovell; several
