10/25/15 — Elfriede Bradford

bradfordElfriede Bradford, age 75 of Estill Springs, Tennessee passed away,
Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at her residence. Funeral Services are
scheduled for Sunday, October 25, 2015, 2:00 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral
Home with burial to follow at Hoover’s Grove Cemetery. Visitation with
the
family will be Friday, October 23 from 5 – 8 PM.

A native of Augsburg, West Germany, she was the daughter of the late Johann
Baptist and Maria Magdalene Koepser Wohlsperger. She met her husband,
Robert Earl Bradford while he was stationed in Germany and in 1972 they
relocated their family to Tennessee to be close to his family. She retired
from Tennessee Apparel in Tullahoma and was a member of the New Center
Grove Church of Christ. She enjoyed flower gardening, reading, shopping
and traveling.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,
Robert Earl Bradford; one brother, Hans Wohlsperger and one sister, Lisette
Glowagi.

She is survived by two daughters, Jane Alford and Brenda Bohanan, both of
Estill Springs; two sisters, Ursula Pazinets of Atlanta, GA and Maria
Weissenhoser and her husband, Paul of Germany; five grandchildren, D J
Bohanan and his wife, Amanda of Tullahoma, Dusty Bohanan of Estill Springs,
Joshua Alford and his wife, Molly of Moore Co, Andrew and Kelsey Alford,
both of Estill Springs and three great grandchildren, Hunter and Colton
Alford and Paizley Bohanan.

flower 26Kimberly M. Varden of Tullahoma, passed this life on Friday, October 16,
2015 at Harton Regional Medical Center at the age of 60 years. Memorial
Services will be announced at a later time.

Mrs. Varden, a native of Brentwood, TN was the daughter of the late Odell
and Sybil Morphis. She attended the Living Waters Church and enjoyed
attending church activities. She also enjoyed watching TV and reading.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Varden of Tullahoma; one son,
Wesley Taylor of Lincoln County and a very special friend, Betty Martin of
Tullahoma.

10/24/15 — Robert Lewis Gant

flower 21Funeral services for Mr. Robert Lewis Gant, age 74, of Manchester, will be
conducted at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Manchester Funeral
Home Chapel with Bro. Paul Elam officiating. Burial will follow in Rose
Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be from 12 noon
until time of service at the funeral home. Mr. Gant passed away on Tuesday,
October 20, 2015 at Life Care Center in Tullahoma.

Robert was born in Bedford County, TN, the son of the late Samuel and
Margeret Cooper Gant. He served his country in the United States Air Force
and was an electrician for AEDC. He was a self-taught musician on the
harmonica and guitar, loved to read science and history books, loved to
whistle, work on cars, baseball, boxing, music, and enjoyed taking things
apart and putting them back together.

In addition to his parents, Robert was also preceded in death by one sister,
Sarah Davis. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Peggy Thomas
Gant of Manchester; two sons, Jerome Gant of Shelbyville and Phillip
(Mayumi) Gant of Altus, OK; one daughter, Kathryn Gant of Nashville; one
brother, Clyde Gant; and two sisters, Bettye Colvin of Gary, IN and Sharon
Gant of Atlanta, GA; six grandchildren, Megan Gant of Alaska, Phillip A.
Gant of Cookeville, Lion and Kokoro Gant, both of Altus, OK, Jerrica Gant of
Atlanta, Miracle Stewart of Shelbyville; and a host of nieces and nephews.

flower 9Allan C. Hamann, age 79 of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away on October
18, 2015 at the St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro. Mr.
Hamann was a retired Aerospace Engineer with the Federal Aviation
Administration (FAA); a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association
(EAA); and member of the Unity Church of Christ. He enjoyed flying
airplanes, restoring automobiles and spending time with his
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Edward
Hamann and Loraine Gerkhardt Hamann; and brothers, Jack Hamann and
Richard “Dick” Hamann. Mr. Hamann is survived by his wife, Doris M. Elam
Hamann of Manchester, Tenn.; son, Callan J. Hamann and his wife Paola of
San Antonio, Texas; two grandchildren, Matthew Hamann and Regan Hamann
both of San Antonio, Texas; sister, Donna Schenk and her husband Tom of
Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and a host of other relatives and friends.

10/21/15 — Adam Oville Gregoire, Jr.

gregoireMr. Adam Oville Gregoire, Jr. “PeeWee”, age 57 of
Beechgrove, Tennessee passed from this life on Sunday, October 18, 2015
surrounded by his loving family. Mr.
Gregoire was preceded in death by his parents, Oville Adam Gregoire, Sr. and
Edelia Eva Billiot Gregoire, and step-father Allison Webster Cook.

He is survived by his loving wife, Yvette Gregoire,
step-father, Arthur Duplantis, five daughters, Toshia Boudreaux of Houma,
Louisiana, Wakina Naquin and husband Sterry of PAC, Louisiana, Carissia
Gregoire and Shaun of Houma, Louisiana, Nakeshia Gregoire of Manchester,
Tennessee, Shelley Brittain and husband Bobby of Woodbury, Tennessee, two
sons,
Greg English and fiancée Heather of Hillsboro, Tennessee, Adam Wilson
Gregoire
of Schriever, Louisiana, five sisters, Kathleen Gregoire of Murfreesboro,
Tennessee, Janice Cook and Tim of Milton, Florida, Ellen Bourg and husband
Hershell of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Cynthia Magallon and husband Jesus of
Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Hope Duplantis and wife Nettie of Berwick,

Mr. Gregoire was a member of the United Houma
Nation. He was a fisherman by trade and
enjoyed fishing, the occasional game of pool, dancing and playing cards.
He always wore a smile on his face and never
met a stranger. Adam would stop and talk
to people and you felt as if you knew him upon meeting him and you never
forgot
his smile. He was most proud of his
Native American Heritage and his family.
Adam treasured time with his grandkids.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew him and loved him.

Funeral Services for Mr. Adam Gregoire will be
conducted on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 6:00 PM at the Coffee County
Funeral Chapel with Brother Charles Hopkins officiating. Visitation will
be held on Wednesday, October
21, 2015 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Coffee County Funeral Chapel,
Manchester, Tennessee. Mr. Gregoire will
be cremated per his wishes.

Mrs. Nancy Smith Carpenter of Lynchburg passed this life on Saturday,
October 17th, 2015 at Harton Regional Medical Center at the age of 70.
Mrs. Carpenter was born in Cullman, AL to the late John and Mable Keller
Smith. During her life, she worked with her husband as they owned
Carpenter Welding Supply. After closing the family business Nancy went on
to work in Tullahoma at Caster-Knott and later Dillards. She was a member
of Friendship United Methodist Church, and the Sewing Guild of America.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Carpenter is preceded in death by her
beloved husband, John Rowe Carpenter, and one brother, Gary Smith. She is
survived by two daughters, Mary Scarlett Carpenter of Tullahoma, and
Suzanne Carpenter Shull and her husband Mark of Harvest, AL; one son,
Michael Carpenter and his wife Teresa of New Hope, AL; one sister-in-law,
Peggy Smith of Hanceville, AL; four grandchildren, Amanda Dean and her
husband Norman of Owens Crossroads, AL, Anna Kathryn Carpenter of
Huntsville, AL, Andrea Shull of Tuscaloosa, AL, and Lauren Shull of
Harvest, AL. Visitation for Mrs. Carpenter will be held on Tuesday,
October 20th, 2015 from 4:00-8:00pm at Kilgore Funeral Home. Funeral
Services will take place on Wednesday, October 21st at 11:00am in the
Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Roy Hopkins officiating.  A

flower 11Jack Webster Brown, age 88 of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away on
October 17, 2015. He was a farmer; a retired Batesville Casket Company
employee; a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Hillsboro and an
avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Arthur
Lee Brown and Dora Vaughn Ritter Brown. Mr. Brown is survived by his wife
of 66 years, Margaret Sue Brown of Manchester, Tenn.; children, James A.
Brown (Phylis), Jerry L. Brown (Janice), Anthony “Tony” W. Brown (Tammy)
and Donald S. Brown (Nancy) all of Manchester, Tenn. and Mark L. Brown
(Kathy) of Tehachapi, California; eleven grandchildren; twelve
great-grandchildren; sisters, Bell Pearson and Daisey Fay Brown;
brothers, John Brown and Emmitt Brown; and a host of other relatives and

finneyHerman Finney, age 78, of Estill Springs, Tenn., departed this life suddenly on Saturday, October 17, at Harton Regional Medical Center, Tullahoma, Tenn. Mr. Finney was born on Sept. 23, 1937, in Estill Springs, Tenn., to the late Cameron and Lula Mae Anderson Finney. He was a member of the Capitol Hill Church of Christ. Mr. Finney retired from B.F. Goodrich in Tullahoma in 1999, where he was employed as a steel worker. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. His hobbies were woodworking, gardening, and hunting. His pride and joy were his grandsons. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, Mr. Finney was preceded in death by his brothers; Tony, Billy, Harvard and Jimmy Finney. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Dealia “Pickle” Finney of Estill Springs, daughter, Tonya Finney York also of Estill Springs, son, Herman Lee Finney of Tullahoma, grandsons; Stone and Tanner York and son, Denny Ray Finney of Tullahoma. eddyJeffrey Lynn Eddy, age 49 of Tullahoma, Tennessee passed away, Friday,
October 16, 2015 at Harton Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services are
scheduled for Tuesday, October 20 at 2 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home
with burial to follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation with the family
will be Monday, October 19 from 5 – 8 PM.

Mr. Eddy, a native of Mobile, AL, was the son of the late Shelley Lynn Eddy
and Ernestine Logan of Estill Springs. Mr. Eddy was employed by M-TEK, Inc
of Manchester. He was a member of Eastside Nazarene Church and enjoyed
being outdoors, hiking and fishing. He loved people and especially enjoyed
children. He also enjoyed listening to all kinds of music.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Stefanie McBee of
Tullahoma; sons, Jeffrey Eddy Jr and his wife, Amber Grant of Shelbyville,
Isaac Nunley and Dakota Arp, both of Tullahoma; daughters, April Carter of
Shelbyville and Keri, Katrina and Emily Nunley, all of Tullahoma; brothers,
Warren Maxwell and his wife, Darla of Estill Springs, Dale Maxwell of
Murfreesboro and Mark Eddy and his wife, Penney of Alabama; sisters, Cindy
Vaughn and her husband, Micah of Alabama, Donna Arms of McMinnville, Becky
Smith and her husband, Tony of Winchester, Lorie Hardy and her husband,
Marlin of Estill Springs and Lisa Maxwell of Kentucky; grandchildren,
