Obituary for Carolyn Joyce Snow

Carolyn Joyce Snow, age 68 of Tullahoma, Tennessee passed away, Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 2 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with burial to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Friday, November 20 from 5 – 8 PM.
A native of Tullahoma, Mrs. Snow was the daughter of the late Charles David and Martha Elizabeth Gilliam Osborne. She was a member of the Break Free Worship Center of Tullahoma. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking and playing bingo.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death one brother, Roger David Osborne and one sister, Marilyn Bradshaw.
Mrs. Snow is survived by her husband, Larry Snow of Tullahoma; three sons, Charles Snow and his wife, Jeannine of Tullahoma, Jim Snow and his wife, Lori of Novi, MI and Mike Snow and his wife, Pennie of Tullahoma; one sister, Charlene Kerrigan of CA; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested donations may be made to the memorial fund at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.

Ronald Keith Young, age 53 of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away on
November 16, 2015. Ronald was an automobile recycling entrepreneur in
Florida before moving to Manchester. He was preceded in death by his
maternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. O.D. Simmons. He is survived by his
mother, Janice Simmons Parson of Manchester, Tennessee; daughter, Sylvia
Pearl Young of Manchester; son, Ashton Brock Young of Manchester;
brother, Hal Hoke of Manchester; granddaughter, Elissiana Mya Young of
Manchester; two nephews, Garrett and Chase Hoke; two aunts, Virginia
Millraney and Marlene Solomon; and a host of other relatives and friends.

November 16, 2015 at the Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.
Nellie was a seamstress with PCA Apparel Industries, Inc. in
Manchester for over 32 years before retiring in 2001. After
retirement, she volunteered at the Manchester Food Bank. She
married Howard D. Temple in 1955 after graduating from Central High
School in Manchester, Tenn. in 1954. She was preceded in death by
her parents, the late Paul Brogdon, Sr. and Edna Earl Haley
Brogdon; and brother-in-law, Earnest McMahan. Nellie is survived by
her beloved husband of 61 years, Howard D. Temple of Manchester;
daughter, Debbie A. Baker and her husband Roger of Manchester; son,
Lee Temple of Manchester; sister, Lois McMahan of Manchester;
brother, Paul Brogdon, Jr. (Margaret) of Charleston, South
Carolina; two grandchildren, Benji Dale Baker of Lewisburg and
Jesse Daniel Baker of Manchester; five great-grandchildren, Tia,
Ethan, Eli, Kannon and Braxton Baker; several nieces and nephews;
several loving and devoted adopted great grandchildren; and a host
of other relatives and friends.

11/21/15 — Edward Joseph Pendleton

flower 21Memorial services for Edward Joseph Pendleton, age 63, of Hillsboro, will be
held Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 2 pm at Manchester Funeral Home.
Visitation with the family will begin at 1pm on Saturday at the funeral
home. Mr. Pendleton passed away on November 16 at his home following an
extended illness.

Mr. Pendleton was born on January 17, 1952, to the late Lewis and Betty
Crecelius Pendleton in Daviess County, IN. He served his country in the Air
Force. He retired from Sain Construction where he worked as a carpenter. Ed
had a love for building and creating different things with his hands,
playing his guitar, and enjoyed hunting with his Beagles.

Ed is survived by one son, Aaron (Lauren) Pendleton and one daughter, Sarah
Pendleton, both of Manchester; two brothers, John and Robert Pendleton; one
sister, Nancy (Glenn) Stoll; five grandchildren, Marcus Pendleton, JaQuez,
Quentin and Kemarion Johnson, Zayne Long, and the expecting Liam Joseph on
November 30th.

irishMr. Glenden C. Irish, age 73 of Tullahoma, Tennessee passed away, Monday, November 16, 2015 at Harton Regional Medical Center in Tullahoma. Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 20th at 2 PM at the Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jim Growden officiating. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday, November 20th from 12 PM until service time.
A native of Waukegon, Illinois, he was the son of the late Glenden C. and Vida Sharpless Irish. He was the beloved husband of Charlotte Irish of Tullahoma. Mr. Irish was a member of College Street Baptist Church. He enjoyed doing crafts, word puzzles and listening to Gospel Music.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one brother; Fred A. Irish and wife Vivian of Minnesota.

Mary E. Pickett, age 63 of Winchester, passed from this life on November 15, 2015 at Golden Living in Winchester, TN. She will be remembered for kindness and for the way she cared for others. Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Christy Pierce, granddaughter, Bethany Rust, Chasity Rust, grandson Dylan Holiday, sister, Kay (John) Gifford of Huntland, Evelyn Pickett from Illinois , brother, Leonard ( Ruth) Pickett of Washington, a host of nieces, nephews, friends and extended family, fur babies, Typsy and Moonbeam. 11/18/15 — Thelma Jean McClure

funeral flowerThelma Jean McClure, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Sunday, November
15th, 2015 at Life Care Center at the age 84. Mrs. McClure was born in
Franklin County, Tennessee to the late Frank and Lillian Blackburn
Sanders. While she was still in high school, she started doing the
accounting work for Stockton Motors and Construction, which was owned by
her Uncle. She then went on to do all of the accounting work for the
Tullahoma City School System, beginning in 1975 and retired in 1993. Mrs.
McClure was a member of the Gospel Tabernacle Church in Tullahoma for 65
years and enjoyed participating in activities with the ladies of the
church. She also loved working in her flower garden at home and raising
vegetables with her husband that they gave to family, friends and church
members. After retirement, she and her husband enjoyed traveling all over
the United States, venturing into Canada as well. In addition to her
parents, Mrs. McClure was preceded in death by one brother, Frank “Sonny”
Sanders and his wife Dimple McClure Sanders. She is survived by her
husband of almost 66 years, Fred McClure of Tullahoma; two sons, Larry
Donald McClure and his wife Lois of Gallatin and Brad Stephen McClure and
his wife Jennifer of Brentwood; seven grandchildren, Lori McClure Smith
and her husband Thomas of Nashville, Lance McClure and his wife Morgan of
Hendersonville, Taylor McClure Roper and her husband Craig of Nashville,
Morgan McClure of Cookeville, Leah McClure of Tullahoma, Logan Langlois
of Brentwood and Kelly Langlois of Brentwood; one brother, Ted Sanders
and his wife Eloise of Tullahoma; and one sister, Patsy Solomon and her
husband Jimmy of Tullahoma. Visitation for Mrs. McClure will be held on
Tuesday, November 17th, 2015 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 4:00-8:00pm.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 18th, 2015 at 1:00pm
in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Rod Schrader and Jack Hice
officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Garner Cemetery in Decherd.

15, 2015 at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville. Funeral Services are
scheduled for Thursday, November 19 at 2 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral
Home with burial to follow at Concord Cemetery. Visitation with the family
will be Thursday, from 12 – 2 PM.

A native of Coffee County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Taylor
Harris and the late Betty Spry Baxter. She enjoyed spending time with her
family and playing with her grandkids. She also enjoyed cooking.

She is survived by her husband, James Walden of Tullahoma; one daughter,
April Walden of Tullahoma; four brothers, Bobby Harris and his wife, Karen
of Shelbyville, Archie Harris of Tullahoma, Charlie Harris and his wife,
Chassity of Manchester and Dee Harris and his wife, Brianne of Mira Loma,
CA; three sisters, Betty Jean Ferrell of Estill Springs, Melinda Dudley of
Tullahoma and Gail Evans of Lynchburg and four grandchildren, Marilinda
Pena, Jesus Eli Pena Jr, Biatris Martinez and Isabella Walden.

flower27Sam Stevens age 56 of Tracy City passed away Sunday, November 15, 2015, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Services in Sewanee. Sam was a truck driver and was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Willie Layne; paternal grandparents, Foster and Ethel Stevens; first wife, Georgia Lee Stevens; son, Joshua Stevens.

He is survived by his wife, Elise Stevens; children, Amanda Stevens, Mark Stevens and Brian Walden; mother, Susie (Milton) Peck; father, Taylor Stevens; sisters, Susan Williams, Jennifer (Daryll) Smiley and Denise Hill; brother, Troy Stevens; grandchildren, Falon, Georgia Lee, Vivian, Aiden and Lucas; several nieces,nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Daryll Smiley officiating. Burial will be in Summerfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday 5-8 P.M.

flower4Ronald Vincent Dillard, age 67 of Manchester, Tennessee, passed
away on November 10, 2015 at the St. Thomas West Hospital in
Nashville. He was a car salesman and had worked most of his career
with the Fann Automotive Group. Mr. Dillard was preceded in death
by his daughter, Carla Marie Dillard in 2013; and parents, Miles H.
Dillard and Georgia Lou Tomlin Dillard. He is survived by his
beloved wife, Margie Dillard of Manchester, Tenn.; sons, Brian
Dillard of Smyrna, Tenn., Chris Parnell of Murfreesboro, Tenn. and
Casey Miles Dillard of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; grandson, Maddox B.
Thomas; and a host of other relatives and friends. The family
wanted everyone to know that through his death Mr. Dillard was able
to give life to others as a Organ Donor. Visitation was on Sunday,
November 15, 2015 from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. at Central Funeral Home in
Manchester, Tennessee. A memorial service followed the visitation
on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Central Funeral Home with Bro. Benny
Benjamin officiating.
