12/21/2015-Eva Dianne Walden

Funeral Services for Mrs. Eva Dianne
Walden, of Manchester, will be conducted Monday, December 21, 2015 at
11:00 AM
at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Pastor William T. Pritchett
officiating. Visitation with the Walden
family will begin at 10:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home.

Eva Dianne Gimlin Walden was born on
October 4, 1948. She passed from this
life on Friday, December 19, 2015 at the age of 67 years at Unity Medical
Center in Manchester, Tennessee surrounded by her loving family.

She was the daughter of the late Raymond
Junior Gimlin and Opal J. French Gimlin.
Eva was married to her husband, Edgar Walden, for ten years and made
their home in the Bushy Branch community.
She has one daughter, Michelle, and her husband Jarrael Henry, who live
in Indiana; two grandchildren, David and Christopher DeVries; and three
great
grandchildren, Zachary, Tristan and Phoenix DeVries.

Eva enjoyed reading and watching her
birds. She was a member of the Church of
God of Prophesy in Tullahoma, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents, she is
preceded in death by one brother, Terry Gimlin and one step son, Bradford
Walden.

12/24/15 — Gerri Louise McKinney

flower 18Gerri Louise McKinney, age 69 of Hillsboro, passed away Sunday morning at
her home. A native of Mississippi and resident of Hillsboro, she was the
daughter of the late Marvin and Louise Malone Lumbley. She was a member
of the Decherd Christian Center and retired computer administrator with
Arnold Air Force Base. Mrs. McKinney was preceded in death by her sister:
Janice Marie McGill and granddaughter: Morgan Brittney McKinney. She is
survived by her husband: Walter Edward McKinney of Hillsboro; daughter
and son-in-law: Malanie (Scott) Gary of Hillsboro; 2 sons and
daughter-in-law: Scott (Stephanie) McKinney and Steve McKinney both of
Hillsboro; 3 grandchildren: Zachery, Shelby and Hayley McKinney; 2
sisters: Ruby Lumbley of Normandy and Del Breedlove of Manchester; 2
brothers: James Lumbley of Normandy and Wayne Lumbley of Manchester, also
several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M.
Thursday in the chapel of Central Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Bradford
presiding. Interment will be in the Hillsboro Memorial Cemetery. The
family will receive friends 5-8 Wednesday evening at the funeral home.

12/23/15 — Nancy Jane Winton

flower vase 2Nancy Jane Winton, age 55 of Hillsboro, passed away Friday. A native and
life long resident of Coffee County, Mrs. Winton is the daughter of Betty
Jean Ague and the late Clifford Winton. She was a member of the Order of
the Eastern Star and a past Worthy Matron. She enjoyed bluegrass music
and fishing. Mrs. Winton is survived by her sister: Sherry Gipson of
Manchester. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Central
Funeral Home. Interment will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery. The family
will receive friends 11-2 Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of
flowers the family Masonic Children’s Hospital or to St. Jude’s
Children’s Hospital.

12/22/15 — Patricia McCann

flower 23Patricia McCann, age 59 of Manchester, passed away Friday evening at her
home. A native of Levittown, Pa and resident of Manchester, she was the
daughter of the late William and Helen Blair Campbell. Mrs. McCann is
survived by her husband: Harold McCann of Manchester; daughter: Marie
Dorak of Manchester; 2 sons and daughters-in-law: Michael (Natalie) Dorak
of Murfreesboro and Jacob (Katie) Dorak of Manchester. 3 grandchildren:
Carla, Michael and Lucus Dorak; 3 brothers: William Campbell Jr. of
Florida, Lawrence Campbell of Morrisville, PA, James Campbell of
Littlestown, PA; also several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will
be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Wesley Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Jake Dorak
presiding.

12/22/15 — Colt Allen Gibson

flower 21Colt Allen Gibson, the infant son of Magan Vaughn and Tyler Allen Gibson, passed away on Dec. 17, 2015 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, Dec. 22 from noon until 2 p.m. at Lynchburg Funeral Home followed by a funeral service beginning at 2 p.m. at the funeral home’s chapel. Bro. Troy Deaton will officiate. Interment will follow at the Vaughn Family Cemetery in Lynchburg.
In addition to his parents, Colt is survived by brothers Jordan Mears and Jaxon Vaughn both of Lynchburg. Also surviving are maternal grandparents Marie Prince of Manchester, TN and James Vaughn, Jr. of Lynchburg. Paternal grandparents JoAnn Miles of Ashland City, TN and Frank Gibson of Hillsboro, TN also survive.
Other survivors include maternal great grandmother Jean Vaughn of Lynchburg and paternal great grandparents Carmen and David Kidder of Manchester, TN along with several aunts and uncles.
Colt was preceded in death by his maternal great grandfather James Vaughn, Jr.

flower 4Sammy”Ronnie” Ferrell, age 68 of Tullahoma, Passed away December 20, 2015 at a local health care facility. Ronnie was a loving husband and father, he enjoyed playing music, singing and coaching little league baseball. He was a hard worker always giving and helping others throughout his life. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, parents Buford and Roberta Ferrell, and brother Toby Layne Ferrell.
He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 50 years Louise Long Ferrell; sons Steven Wayne Ferrell of Manchester, TN and Christopher Ronald Ferrell of Tullahoma, TN; grandchildren Derek Cameron Ferrell of Holiday, FL, Chloe Beth Ferrell of Manchester, TN and Kara Elizabeth Ferrell of Murfreesboro, TN; brothers Bobby Ferrell of Tullahoma, TN, J.C. Ferrell former Chief of the Tullahoma Police Department, Billy Joe Ferrell of Tullahoma, TN, Jerry Ferrell of Estill Springs, TN and Tony Wayne Ferrell twin brother to Toby Layne Ferrell; sister Brenda Ferrell Wicker of Florence, MS; several nieces and nephews and many loving friends.
There will be a Celebration of Life service for Ronnie held Thursday December 24, 2015 at 10:00am at Tullahoma Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Forrester, Pastor Phillip Moody and Pastor Kal Busman Officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

flower26L.D. Sartain of Pelham, TN died December 18, 2015 at Harton Hospital in Tullahoma, Tennessee. L.D. was the oldest son of Herbert and Maymie Hawk Sartain. He was born Feb. 11, 1929 in Pelham, TN. L.D. was raised in Pelham and graduated from Grundy County High School in 1946. L.D. attended Tennessee Tech in Cookeville and served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. L.D. was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Maymie Hawk Sartain, infant sister, brother, Jim Sartain and special son Harold Winton.

Survived by his wife of 58 years Reba Jo Bennett Sartain; daughters, Janette Elaine Sartain, Mary Kate Sartain, Carolyn Dee Sartain and Mary Jane Winton of Pelham; sons James Daniel (Henrietta) Sartain of Decherd, Michael Andrew Sartain of Pelham, and Billy Mack (Donna) Sartain of Piqua, Ohio; one niece Millicent Kay (Eddie) Baker of Pelham; grandchildren James Wesley (Courtney) Sartain of Pelham, Heather Nicole Sartain of Decherd and David Alan Winton of Pelham.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday in the funeral home chapel with Brother Ray Winton officiating. Burial will be in Warren Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening 5-9 P.M. at the funeral home.

eugeneEugene Wilson “Wilsy” Hill, age 79 of Pelham, passed away December 17, 2015 at Harton Regional Medical Center. Mr. Hill will be remembered as a man who loved to fish, loved tractors and riding around with his brother, Charlie. He is preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Mae Church Hill and his father, Marvin Wilson Hill; sons, Gary and Donnie; sisters, Barbara Parson and Maria Hill; grandson Rick Pippin; special friend, Jo Ann Hill. Mr. Hill is survived by Katherine Hill of Sewanee; daughters, Kecia Hill of Sewanee, Lisa Thompson of Hillsboro, Donna Fortin & Gail Pippin, both of Maine; sons, Kevin (Amanda) Hill of Decherd, Travis (Melissa) Hill of Pelham and Eric (Amy) Hill of Manchester; sisters, Sandra (Billy) Parker and Lou (Jim) Long both of Hillsboro; brother Charlie (Debbie) Hill also of Hillsboro; 14 grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. The funeral service will be conducted from the chapel of Watson-North Funeral Home at 3 p.m. Saturday December 19, 2015 with Billy Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at Rutledge Hill Cemetery in Decherd with friends and family serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Friday December 18, 2015 from 5-8 p.m.

He is preceded in death by his parents Syble and Allen Mosley; sister Treva Clavier he is survived by his sisters Janice Lamb of Harvey, IL, Marie Cooper of Harvey, IL and Judy Mosley of Harvey, IL; brother Thomas Mosley of Hammond, IN; many friends at Skills Development Services, where he lived and worked for 40 years. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Skills Development Services 704 S. Washington St. Tullahoma, TN 37388. Honorary pallbearers will be D’ Angelo Brown, Paul Winton, Donald Bingham, Randy Dietz, Patrick Frazine, Timothy Rubke, Charlie Beddingfield, Jamie Reccord and David Hicks

Sharon Eileen Wampler Ambrose

wamplerSharon Eileen Wampler Ambrose, age 77 of Tullahoma, Tennessee passed away,
Friday, December 18, 2015 at Harton Regional Medical Center. No services
are scheduled.

Mrs. Ambrose a native of Highland Park, Michigan was the daughter of the
late Arvel William and Rosa Sophia Ayres Wampler. Mrs. Ambrose was a member
of Eastern Star #269 and she enjoyed writing stories, working puzzles and
playing the piano. She was a caregiver and an animal lover.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James
Garland Ambrose.

Mrs. Ambrose is survived by three sons, Lee Ambrose and his wife, Angela of
Lynchburg, James G. Ambrose, Jr. and his wife, Sarah of Lynchburg and
William Ambrose of Estill Springs; four daughters, Eileen Ambrose of
Tullahoma, Rose Marie Carpenter of Lewisburg, Debra Ambrose Millen and her
husband, Ray of Tullahoma and Jada Ambrose of Tullahoma; one brother,
Patrick Sweeney of Florida; one sister, Lynn Connley of Durham, NC; fifteen
grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the
American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
