1/29/16 — Rusty Lee Vaughn

vaughnFuneral services for Rusty Lee Vaughn, age 59, of Manchester, will be
held Friday, January 29, 2016 at 2 PM at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel
with Bishop Joel Davenport officiating. Visitation with the Vaughn family
will be Thursday, January 28 from 5 – 8 PM at the funeral home. Mr.
Vaughn passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Centennial Medical
Center in Nashville, TN.

Rusty was a Tennessee boy born in a taxi cab in Detroit Michigan on
December 22, 1956 to the late Paul Lee and Dorothy “Dot” Bennett Vaughn.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in
Tullahoma, TN. As a kid, Rusty survived the bigger things of Texas, the
quicksand in Okinawa and the adventures of living in Japan. As Rusty
grew, he developed a love for hunting, the outdoors, football, horses,
metal detecting with his dad, buying/selling/and trading. There was
nothing Rusty loved more than family and his many friends. He loved to
show off pictures of his grandkids “Papa Rusty’s Gang…The Magnificent
Seven!” He was a dreamer and storyteller who leaves behind a legacy of
faith, family and friends. Rusty was retired from American Can Company
in Shelbyville. He is survived by:

Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.
Graveside Services are scheduled for Monday, January 25 at 2 PM at Lois
Cemetery in Moore County. Visitation with the family will be Monday, from
11:30 AM till 1:30 PM.

Mr. Hefner loved his dogs and his birds and enjoyed working in his garden.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Samuel Perry.

He is survived by his mother, Faye Taylor of Manchester; one brother, Billy
Pursley of Manchester; two sisters, Kim Vincent and her husband, Jerry of
Lakeville, Minnesota and Lisa Locursio of Manchester and many nieces
nephews and cousins.

riggsFuneral services for Mr. Arnold Riggs, age 63 of Manchester will be
conducted at 2pm, Tuesday, January 26 at the Manchester Funeral Home
Chapel with Bro. Howard Carroll officiating. Burial will follow in Rose
Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the Riggs family will be Monday,
January 25 from 5pm until 9pm at Manchester Funeral Home. Mr. Riggs
passed this life Thursday, January 21 at the Unity Medical Center in
Manchester.

Mr. Riggs was born in Coffee County, Tennessee the son of the late
Clarence and Mary Byrom Riggs. Arnold was retired from Mark Pirtle
Automotive in Shelbyville where he was the service director. He was a
member of the New Life Church and loved to collect guns, boots, knives,
attending knife and gun shows whenever possible. Arnold is survived by:

flower 18Jennifer Mechele Henley Fried, age 48, passed away on January 20,
2016 at her home in Tullahoma, Tennessee. She was the Manager of
the”Big B Ranch” Horse Rescue Farm and former owner of Mitch’s Pet
Palce in Manchester., Tennessee. Jennifer was affiliated with the
Rutledge Hill Community Church. She was preceded in death by her
parents, Andrew Jackson “Jack” Henley and Emma Baker Henley; and
brother, Ronnie Henley. Jennifer is survived by her husband,
Mitchell “Mitch” W. Fried of Tullahoma, Tenn.; children, Nikki N.
Nakamura of Tullahoma, Tenn., Curtis K. Nakamura of Tullahoma,
Tenn., Sarah H. Fried of Manchester, Tenn., Samuel J. Fried of
Tullahoma, Tenn. and Michael A. Fried of Manchester, Tenn.; sister,
Dianna Trussell of Hillsboro, Tenn., brothers, Ricky Henley and
Jeffrey Henley; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other
relatives and friends.

flower 9Memorial services for Mr. Charles Edward Casteel, age 80, of Hillsboro,
TN, will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at
Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chris Haynes officiating.
Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 PM until time of service on
Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Casteel passed away Thursday, January 21
at his home in his sleep.

Mr. Casteel was born in Lynchburg, TN, the son of the late James Travis
and Lola Pearl Warren Casteel. He was a boilermaker for Universal
Locktort. Charles loved gardening, his family, and especially his dog,
Stella.

In addition to his parents, Charles was also preceded in death by his
wife, Francis Elizabeth Warren Casteel; four brothers, Travis, David,
Ralph, and James Casteel; one sister, Dorothy Powell; one half-brother,
Jerry Warren; and one grandson, Daniel Casteel. He is survived by two
sons, Joe Edward (Darlene) Casteel and Rickie Steve (Beverly) Casteel,
both of IL; two daughters, Sue (James Mines, Jr.) Kingery and Teresa
(Jim) Majewski, both of Hillsboro; one half-brother, Gene Warren of
Shelbyville; grandchildren, Eric & Chris Casteel, Elizabeth Kingery,
Jacob & Kasey Majewski, Austin & Katie Casteel, Larry Dempsey, Jennifer
Zuppa, and Rickie Michael Casteel; and numerous great grandchildren and
great, great grandchildren.

January 19, 2016 at the Life Care Center of Tullahoma. Graveside Services
are scheduled for Saturday, January 23 at 12:30 PM at Rose Hill Memorial
Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, January 23 from 11 AM
till 12 PM.

A native of Harrisburg, Arkansas she was the daughter of the late Dave and
Luella Grant Mott. She loved being outdoors working in her garden, fishing
and camping. She also enjoyed reading her hometown paper and keeping up
with all the local news in Arkansas.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James
Hervey; one son, Terry Nix; one brother, Bobby Mott; one sister, Dorothy
Ford and one grandchild, Diana Nix

She is survived by one son, Gerald Nix and his wife, Judy of Hopkinsville,
KY; three brothers, Eugene, David and Leon Mott of Arkansas; one sister,
Shirley Conner of Arkansas; daughter-in-law, Janice Nix of Tullahoma; three
grandchildren, Bryan Nix and his wife, Lynette of Tullahoma, Jackie Nix
Byrom and her husband, Jason of Lynchburg and Jeremy Brown of Hopkinsville,
KY; four great grandchildren, Shelby and Halle Nix and Jacob and Jarrett
Byrom and good friend, Sandy “Cindy” of Tullahoma.

wengerMrs. Sonja June “Crick” Wenger, 75, of Winchester, TN passed away at her residence on Jan. 18, 2016.
Mrs. Wenger loved spending time with family and friends, traveling, shopping, playing bridge and dining out.
She owned and operated Wenger’s Antiques located on the Winchester Square.
She was preceded in death by her husband Van Wenger along with her parents Marie Vaughn Crick and James Crick.
She is survived by sons Ray (Carolyn) Wenger of Winchester and Eric (Martha) Wenger also of Winchester.
Also surviving is a daughter Lori (Tracy) Hayworth of Winchester along with 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation with family will begin at noon Friday, Jan. 22 at the Winchester Cumberland Presbyterian Church followed by a funeral service in the church sanctuary at 2 p.m.
Interment will follow at Watson-North Memorial Park in Winchester.

Raymond Travis Holland

flower 22Mr. Raymond Travis Holland, age 69, of McMinnville, TN, passed from this
life on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at St. Thomas Riverpark Hospital in
McMinnville.

Raymond was born in North Carolina, the son of the late Roy Holland and
Hazel Travis VanSyckel of McMinnville, who survives. He served his
country in the United States Air Force and was a banker with Florida
Community Bank. Raymond was a member of Central Church of Christ in
McMinnville.

In addition to his mother, Raymond is also survived by his loving wife of
38 years, Karen Henegar Holland of McMinnville; two sisters, Phyllis
Hillis of McMinnville and Karen (Edward) Bird of Georgia; one
sister-in-law, Linda Henegar (Junior) Frazier of McMinnville; two
brothers-in-law, Terry (Ann) Henegar of Orlando, FL and David Henegar of
Morrison, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

At Raymond’s request, no services will be held. Any memorial donations

1/20/16 — Ida Mae Robison Cohenour

cohenourMRS. IDA MAE ROBISON COHENOUR, age 96, of Winchester, TN., went home to her Lord Jesus on Monday, January 18, 2016. She was a recent inpatient at The Willows at Winchester. She was born in the Beans Creek Community of Huntland, TN., on September 4, 1919, to the late Henry and Martha Ella Black Robison. Mrs Cohenour loved her church, The Way of The Cross Baptist Church in Winchester. Mrs. Cohenour was employed as a manager at Big K in Tullahoma for many years. One of her hobbies included rock collecting, and she loved Jesus who was always with her, reading her bible, and preparing her “studies” from the bible on different topics. Most of all she was a sweet lady and was loved by all. She loved for her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great nieces to visit and always had a toy or a bag of candy for them. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Cresida Cohenour, 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Mrs. Cohenour is survived by sons; Thomas Ray Cohenour of Winchester, Tenn, Charles Roy Cohenour and his wife Barbara of Coosa, GA, grandchildren; Leslie Dice of Huntsville, AL, Roni Parsons and her husband, Tim of Smithfield, N.C., Kevin Cohenour of Nashville, Tenn., B.J. Cohenour of Coosa, GA. Joey and Josh ingleberger of Estill Springs, Tenn., Kenneth O’Field of Phoenix, AZ. Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2016, from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. at Grant Funeral Services. A native of Franklin County, he was the son of the late Rollie H and Nola Mae Parks Armstrong. He retired from Elk River Public Utility District. He enjoyed watching western TV shows and movies, playing cards and fixing up cars.
He is survived by one daughter, Teresa Lawson and her husband, Charles Jr of Tullahoma; two brothers, Charles Armstrong of Franklin County and Freddie Armstrong and his wife, Jane of Tullahoma; two sisters, Bobbie Evans and her husband, Frank of Franklin County and Phyllis Brooks and her husband, Kemp of Tullahoma; two grandchildren, Lindsay McCallon of Tullahoma and Chase Lawson and his wife, Laura of Moore County and three great grandchildren, Paxton, Parker and Maddux McCallon.
