flower 21Cecil Lee Roberts, age 55 of Manchester, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Unity Medical Center in Manchester, Tennessee. Graveside Services will be held Monday, February 1, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Rocky River- Craine Hill Cemetery, Warren County, Tennessee. Visitation will be Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.

Mr. Roberts was a welder and loved working in his flower and vegetable gardens and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen Davis Roberts, one brother; Eugene Roberts, two sisters; Caroline Ann Roberts and Brenda Koontz.

Mr. Roberts is survived by his father; E.J. Roberts and wife Hazel of Smithville, Tennessee, sister, Geraldine Madewell and husband Gordon Wayne of Rock Island, Tennessee, two half-sisters; Janice Trapp and husband Darryl, Donna Kay Robertson and husband Buddy both of Smithville, Tennessee as well as several nieces and nephews.

flower 11Graveside services for Mr. Glenn H. Talley, age 73 of Tullahoma were conducted at 1:00pm Saturday, January 30 at Maplewood Cemetery in Tullahoma. Mr. Talley passed this life Friday, January 29, 2016 at Harton Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Talley was born in Tullahoma the son of the late Maudie Rackley Talley. He was retired from BF Goodrich in Tullahoma and was formerly a member of the Tennessee Army National Guard. Glenn loved to fish and loved cars from the 1950’s. His wife, children, and grandchildren were the loves of his life.

keeslingRALPH W. KEESLING, age 81, of Estill Springs, Tenn., departed this life on Thursday, January 28, 2016, at St. Thomas Rutherford. Mr. Keesling retired from General Motors where he was employed as a tow motor operator. He loved to fish and plant a garden, One of his favorite past times was to work on vehicles. Mr. Keesling was preceeded in death by his daughter, Melissa Keesling. He is survived by his sons; Steve Keesling of Anderson, Ind., Ralph Douglas Keesling and his wife Dee of Anderson, Ind., daughter, Laveda Keesling of Sarasota, Florida, 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, special companion of 34 years, Ella Mae Ramsey of Estill Springs, Tenn., brother, Marvin Keesling and his wife Carol of Chesterfield, IN and sister, Floetta Keesling of Anderson, Ind. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, January 31, 2016, from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Grant Funeral Services. Services will be conducted on Monday, February 1, 2016, at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. Byron Lawrence officiating. Interment will follow at Prairie Plains Cemetery. Burial to follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Huntland, TN. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, January 30, 2016 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Mr. McCormick passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016 at his residence.

Mr. McCormick was a member of Summitville Church of Christ.

Mr. McCormick is preceded in death by his parents, B.L. and Molly McCormick; sisters, Johnnie Delliott, Adaleen Cole; brothers, James McCormick, Clifford McCormick, Clyde McCormick, Leon McCormick; grandson, Tom Bouldin.

His survivors include his loving wife, Ruby Posey McCormick; daughters, Bobbie and Ronnie Bouldin, Bonita Vann; sisters, Doris and Ray Winton, Francis Hall; stepchildren, Bobby Towry, Paul and Darlene Towry, Debbie Towry Millraney, Alan and Tresia Towry; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

follow in the Hillsboro Methodist Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will
be Eli Freeman, Stephen Duncan, Justin Duncan, Matt Brothers, Mark
Brothers, Ricky Parks, John Oakley, Craig Hafer and Guinn Walker
Visitation with the Brothers Family will be Sunday, January 31, from 4pm
until 8pm at Manchester Funeral Home. Fred passed this life peacefully
on Thursday, January 28 at the Horizon Healthcare Center in Manchester.

Fred was born in Hillsboro, Tennessee the son of the late Matthew Tally
Brothers and Maude Roberts Brothers. He was a lifelong farmer in
Hillsboro, and most recently a cattle farmer. Fred was a member of the
Hillsboro United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was
also preceded in death by; great grandson, Jackson Purvis; sister, Mrs.
Edna Parks and a brother, Bob Brothers. He leaves to cherish his memory:

taylorSally “Faye” Ellen Taylor, age 68 of Manchester, Tennessee passed away, Thursday, January 28, 2016 at her residence. Funeral Services are scheduled for Tuesday, February 2 at 2 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with burial to follow at Lois Cemetery in Moore County. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 11 AM – 2 PM.
A native of Athens, AL, she was the daughter of the late Clark and Lucy Peoples Hopkins. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, drawing and gardening.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Hughlon Hefner and Sam Perry; one brother, Hughlon Hopkins and one sister, Nancy Weeks.
She is survived by one son, Billy Pursley of Manchester; two daughters, Lisa Locurcio of Manchester and Kim Vincent and her husband, Jerry of Lakeville, Minnesota; four sisters, Laura Baldwin of Mulberry, Peggy May of Lynchburg, Mary Brand of Shelbyville and Caroline Brown and her husband, Jerry of AL; eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A native of Grundy County, Tennessee. Mylinda was a very giving person who always put others before herself. She enjoyed watching Nascar and Dirt Track Racing, going shopping, she loved horses and spending time with her grandchildren
She is preceded in death by her father, William H. Anderson and one sister, Ginger Johnson.
She is survived by one daughter, April Lyn Fults of McMinnville, two sons; Charles Travis Cox and wife Dakota of Camp Pendelton, California and Tony Brinkley and wife Kandi of Hillsboro, Tennessee, her mother; Mary Anderson of Hillsboro, two sisters; Janey and husband Art Laney and Jaqueline Dodson both of Hillsboro; two brothers, James and Joe Anderson both of Hillsboro, Tennessee, eight grandchildren; Shelby, Hannah and Mason Brinkley, Kaydence, Cam and J.C. Hunt, Jace Allen Kisamore and Jocelyn Grace Cox and one on the way.

01/31/16-Mary Ann Tyree Roberts

Mrs. Mary Ann Tyree Roberts, age 86, of Lewisburg, died Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Harton Medical Center in Tullahoma.

Mrs. Roberts was a native of Marshall County, the daughter of the late Frank and Sallie Lee Dennis Tyree. She was self-employed in the automobile and real estate professions and was a member of the Church Street Church of Christ. She was formerly, a treasurer for the Robert Lewis Chapter of DAR, a member of Columbia State Community College Board of Trustees, a member of Lipscomb University’s Legacy Society, a Girl Scout and Boy Scout leader, president of University Square HOA, a member of State House Manor HOA, and a member of Marshall County’s First National Bank Board.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of almost 54 years, and business partner, Charles Edward “Bay” Roberts.

She is survived by three daughters, Suzanne Roberts, and Pam (Steve) Allen, both of Lewisburg, and Jan (Ronald) Caldwell of Manchester, two sons, Eddie (Donna) Roberts of Lewisburg, and John (Kim) Roberts, Sr. of Manchester, three sisters, Frances Tyree Miller of Nashville, Ruth Tyree Shoaf of Whites Creek, and Doris Tyree Webb of Lewisburg, and two brothers, Bill Tyree of Brentwood and David Tyree of Dallas, Texas. Twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, January 31, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Church Street Church of Christ with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will begin on Saturday evening from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the church and on Sunday from 12:30 until the funeral hour.

1/29/16 — Cecil Thomas Foster

flower vase 3Cecil Thomas “Tommy” Foster , age 58, of Manchester. Tennessee, passed
away on January 25, 2016 at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in
Nashville. Tommy was a truck driver for Mid- Tenn Turf and will be fondly
remembered and greatly missed by his family and friends as one who
touched the lives of many people who knew him with his warmth, love, and
his music as a great drummer. He was preceded in death by his mother,
Betty JoAnn Gibson Foster. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Ann
Mullins; father,Woodrow Cecil Foster of Hillsboro, Tenn.; daughter, Jamie
S. Rounsville (Will) of Knoxville, Tenn.; sister, Barbara McGrew and her
husband Terry of Hendersonville, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Kammie
Robertson of Manchester, Tenn., Cameron Robertson and Kimberly Robertson
of Knoxville, Tenn.; great-grandson, Dusty Ray Robertson; and a host of
friends.
