4/2/16 — Debbie Charlene Lunsford Fraser

fraserDebbie Charlene Lunsford Fraser of Tullahoma, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Harton Regional Medical Center of Tullahoma. “Heaven gained the most amazing angel”. Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 11 AM at First United Methodist Church in Tullahoma with Reverend Paul Purdue presiding.
Mrs. Fraser, a native of Shelbyville, was the daughter of the late Charles Thomas Lunsford and Josephine Stafford Lunsford. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She loved her Lord, her church her bible, Christmas and Christmas lights at Opryland. Mrs. Fraser was a member of the Tullahoma Woman’s Club. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, watching humming birds on Saturday mornings especially with a cup of coffee, watching NCIS television show, she loved her trips to Oregon, loved the beach, cheerleading and was very proud of her 20 years of service to Arnold Air Force Base.
Mrs. Fraser was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by two daughters, Deborah “Buffy” Houston of Ontario, Oregon and Heidi Fraser Messerly of Tullahoma; two brothers, Larry and wife Faith Lunsford of Flat Creek, Tennessee and Tom and wife Jan Lunsford of Anchorage, Alaska; half-sister Marsha Hogarth of Jackson, Alabama; two grandchildren Kaitlyn and Megan Houston; former son-in-law Kelly Houston of Ontario, Oregon, grand dog Goldie Mae and her cat Baby.

4/1/16 — Janie Naomi Gipson

gipsonFuneral services for Mrs. Janie Naomi Gipson, age 86, of Manchester, will
be conducted at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 1, 2016 at Manchester Funeral
Home Chapel with Bro. Marvin Davenport officiating. Burial will follow
in Summitville Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 PM
until 8:00 PM on Thursday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Gipson
passed away Wednesday morning at her residence in Manchester.

Janie was born in Pelham, TN, the daughter of the late Barney and Ella
Mae Hamby Johnson. She was a retired hairdresser and attended Forest
Mill Baptist Church. Janie enjoyed bowling, needlepoint, and working
puzzles.

In addition to her parents, Janie was also preceded in death by her
husband, Hollis Gipson; two daughters, Nancy Sweeney and Brenda Cleary;
one son, Jimmy Gipson; son-in-law, Mike Cleary; one sister, Mary
Trussell; two brothers, Ralph and Gordon Johnson; and great grandsons,
Jathan and Jaylon Hershman. She is survived by two daughters, Linda
(Wayne) Cox of Altamont, TN and Diane (Terry) Hershman, of Manchester;
one son, David Gipson of Manchester; one daughter-in-law, Margie Gipson;
grandchildren, Matt Sweeney, Janie Gassman, Ray Gipson, Carol Ann Jones,
Mike Cleary, Jr., Ruth Brenner, Anthony Childs, Mario Childs, Rocky
Childs, Angel Childs, Lisa Shaffer, and Jeremy Hershman; 31 great
grandchildren; and one great, great grandchild.

William “Raymond” Hale

haleWilliam “Raymond” Hale, left this earth at the age of 71 on Easter
Sunday,
March 27, 2016. No services are scheduled.

He was the son of the late Raymond Lee and Cora Haley Hale. He began
working for Genesco after graduating from high school in 1963. He also was
employed by Acme, Waggoner and Eaton Corp. He loved to hunt and fish and
ride around looking for deer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Mike and
Jimmy; sisters, Carolyn and Alice and by his pet dog, Curlee.

Mr. Hale is survived by two brothers, Tommy Hale and Kenneth Hale and his
wife, Shirley of Tullahoma; one sister, Wanda Hale, of Tullahoma;
sister-in-law, Durinda Hale of Tullahoma; cousin, Phillip Miller of
Winchester and nephews, Raymond and Charlie Hale of Hillsboro. He also
left behind his loving pet dogs, Patch, Pumpkin and Sheba and his loving
cat, Peaches.

3/31/16 — Edward R. Pegram

pegramEdward R. Pegram, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Sunday, March 27th,
2016 at his home at the age of 84. Mr. Pegram was born in Nashville,
Tennessee to the late Roy E. and Dorothy Harper Pegram. He served his
country in the United States Air Force in Korea and later went on to work
as a Real Estate Broker with Pegram & Associates for 18 years. Mr. Pegram
also worked as a Master Machinist with ARO for 16 years. He was a member
of First Baptist Church in Tullahoma and was on the Tullahoma Planning
Commision from 1989-1990. At the time of his death, Mr. Pegram was the
oldest surviving member of the Tullahoma Police Department. He was a
33rd Degree Mason, a Shriner, a Leading Lion in the Lions Club of
Tullahoma and was also a Magistrate with the Moore County Court. Mr.
Pegram loved farming and also loved being a grandfather to his seven
grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Pegram was preceded in
death by one brother, David Pegram. He is survived by his wife of 60
years, Nina Pegram of Tullahoma; two sons, Steve Pegram of Tullahoma and
Al Pegram and his wife Denise of Tullahoma; two daughters, Lila Paseur
and her husband Andre’ of Meridianville, Alabama and Nina Ruth Mares and
her husband Mike of Tullahoma; one sister, Mary Miller of Hernando,
Florida; and grandchildren, Lauren Sulfridge and her husband Justin;
Quenton Kirby, Garrett Pegram, Jonathan and Andrew Mares, and Caleb and
Adam Paseur. Visitation for Mr. Pegram will be held on Wednesday, March
30th, 2016 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 4:00-8:00pm. Funeral services
will be held on Thursday, March 31st, 2016 at 11:00am at First Baptist
Church in Tullahoma with Dr. J. Herbert Hester officiating. Burial will
follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, the family asks
that donations be made to the Marsha, Holt Scholarship, c/o First Baptist
Church, 108 East Grundy Street, Tullahoma, Tennessee 37388.

3/30/16 — Buna Faye Dean Glover

gloverBuna Faye Dean Glover, formerly of Tullahoma, passed this life on
Saturday, March 26th, 2016 at the Brooks Howell Home in Asheville, North
Carolina at the age of 87. Mrs. Glover was born in Lexington, Alabama to
the late Marcus Elmer and Velma Kathleen Robertson Dean. In addition to
being a homemaker for most of her life, she also worked as a telephone
operator and was a member of First Baptist Church in Tullahoma. She was a
spirited, caring friend and family member who will always be remembered
as a true force of nature by those who knew her best. In addition to her
parents, Mrs. Glover was preceded in death by her husband, George Waylon
Glover; and one brother, Royce Dean. She is survived by her son, Timothy
Dean Glover and his wife Bethany Anne Lohr PhD, LP; her daughter, Susan
Gay Glover, MD and her husband Eugene Britton, IV; three grandsons,
Duncan Glover Britton, Waylon Albert Glover and William Forrest Glover;
and two sisters, Ann Dean Matthews and Betty June Dean. !
Visitation for Mrs. Glover will be held on Wednesday, March 30th, 2016
at First Baptist Church in Tullahoma from 11:00am-2:00pm with the
funeral service to immediately follow at 2:00pm with Dr. J. Herbert
Hester officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

William C. Gilliland

flower 21William C. Gilliland passed away on March 26, 2016 in Tullahoma, TN of
pancreatic cancer. Mr. Gilliland was born and raised in Harriman, TN,
served in the US Navy and lived throughout the United States. He is
survived by his daughter, Kelli Klidzejs, who lives in Wartrace, TN, and
his son, John E. Gilliland, who lives in Germany. No services are
planned at this time.

be conducted Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 1pm at Manchester Funeral Home
with Jason Nunley officiating. Burial will follow at Wesley Chapel
Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, March 29 from 4 to
9pm at the funeral home.

Ms. Bessie was born on March 26, 1936, to the late Eli and Beulah Sanders
Fults in Viola, TN. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of
Christ. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her
husband Mr. Chester Totherow, who passed away in 1982. Ms. Bessie is
survived by four sons; Bearl, Chester, George, and Ronnie Totherow, all
of Manchester; also by six daughters; Luverta Totherow of Chattanooga,
Abby Totherow and Faye Shrum of Tracy City, Anita, Freida and Gloria
Totherow, all of Manchester.

Mary Fay Waldrop, infant of
Jesse and Debra Waldrop, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2016 in the
arms of
her family at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

3/28/16 — Ruby Kendrick Shettleworth Woodard

Graveside services for Mrs. Ruby Kendrick Shettleworth Woodard, age 92 of
Manchester will be conducted at 2pm, Monday, March 28 at Rose Hill
Memorial Gardens with Bro. Bennie Benjamin officiating. Mrs. Woodard
passed this life Friday, March 25 at the Lynchburg Nursing Center.

Mrs. Kendrick was born in Coffee County, Tennessee the daughter of the
late Burt and Ruby Pratt Kendrick. She was a supervisor for PCA for many
years and was a member of the Hillsboro Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her
husbands, Sam Shettleworth and Marvin Woodard, by 3 sisters, Rebecca
Parsley, Francis Robinson and Lena Freeman, and by one brother, James B.
Kendrick and by a son, Sam Shettleworth. Mrs. Ruby is survived by:

will follow in Gilley Hill Cemetery in Cannon County, TN. Visitation
with the family will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday evening at
the funeral home. Mrs. Theele passed away Wednesday morning in Florida.

Eva was born in Normandy, TN, the daughter of the late Alton P. and Nancy
Stacey Duke. She was a lab technician in the tire manufacturing
industry.

Eva is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Thomas “Tom” Theele of
Crystal River, FL; three sons, Sidney Carter of Murfreesboro, TN, Troy
Carter of Treasure Island, FL, and Matthew Theele of Nashville, TN; one
daughter, Lemeca Bargatze of Mt. Juliet, TN; and one brother, Jesse Duke
of Murfreesboro, TN.
