4/7/16 — Marvin L. Ferrell

flower vase 2Funeral services for Mr. Marvin L. Ferrell, age 90, of Manchester, TN,
will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Manchester
Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Horace Lee Jacobs officiating. Burial will
follow in New Beechgrove Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be
from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Mr.
Ferrell passed away on Monday, April 4, 2016 at Horizon Health and Rehab
in Manchester, TN.

Mr. Ferrell was born in the Gossburg Community of Coffee County, TN, the
son of the late James and Dora Valerie Arnold Ferrell. Marvin operated
Earls and Ferrell Mercantile Store in Beechgrove and was a constable of
the Third Civil District of Coffee County. He loved to watch westerns
and the Andy Griffith Show, enjoyed going to auctions, and loved to keep
up with politics.

In addition to his parents, Marvin was also preceded in death by his wife
of 54 years, Mary Frances Earls Ferrell; one sister, Roberta Frizzell;
and one nephew, Derrell Frizzell. He is survived by one daughter, Linda
Baker of Manchester; two grandsons, Grant (Katelynn) Baker of Nashville
and Craig Baker of Murfreesboro; one sister, Judy Garner of Tullahoma;
and three nephews, Randy Frizzell, Mickey and Eddy Driver.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Horizon Health and
Rehab and Avalon Hospice for Mr. Ferrell’s care. In lieu of flowers, the
family suggests memorial donations to New Beech Grove Cemetery, c/o Larry

hallMrs. Virginia Elizabeth Hall, 81, of Tullahoma, TN passed away on April 4, 2016 at Life Care Center of Tullahoma.
Mrs. Hall was born in Franklin County, Tennessee on June 15, 1934 to the late Richard and Clara Gunn Davis. She was preceded in death by one sister, Martha Hartman.
She is survived by her husband Elijah Hall of Tullahoma and daughter Tracy Sensing of Nashville. Also surviving are grandchildren Tori, Sterling and Madison (Krista) Sensing.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home from noon until 2 p.m. followed by a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Rev. Paul Purdue will officiate.

RAYMOND MARTIN WOOD
(April 16, 1934 – March 9, 2016)
Raymond Martin Wood, age 81 of Manchester, Tennessee, entered into rest on
March 9, 2016 at the Life Care Center in Tullahoma. He owned and operated
the John Deere Tractor “Tractor Service Company” in Manchester for many
years and operated a wholesale nursery business called the “Ponderosa”. Mr.
Wood was very active in the community serving in the Manchester Rotary Club
(Member Emeritus) and was named Rotarian of the Year. He also as a Court
Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children and was the CASA State
Volunteer of the Year. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church
in Manchester; a member of the Church Choir; and the Church Hand Bell Choir.
Mr.Wood is survived by his wife, Susan Walters Wood of Manchester, TN; three
children, Cathy L. Wood (John L. Pitts) of Corinth, MS, Mark W.Wood (Tammie
S. Belcher Wood) of Chattanooga, TN and Michael W. Wood (Suzannah)of
Portland ME; five grandchildren, Liz Behel (Jason) of Florence, AL, Carolyn
Myers of Madison, AL, Samuel Wood of Chattanooga, TN, Wyatt Wood of Portland
ME and Harper Wood of Portland, ME; three great-grandchildren, Nolan Behel,
Emmett Behel and Wesley Behel; many friends, loved ones and extended family.

MILDRED M. HINCH
(February 7, 1941 – April 3, 2016)
Mildred Mae Gibbs Hinch, age 75 of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away into
rest on April 3, 2016 at the Harton Regional Medical Center in Tullahoma.
She was a Cosmetologist; business owner and a member of the Manchester
Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Hinch was preceded in death by her
parents, the late Frank Gibbs and Margaret Lucille Adcox Gibbs. She enjoyed
sewing, square dancing, knitting, gardening and crocheting. Mrs. Hinch is
survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Joseph “Joe” O. Hinch of
Manchester, TN; daughters, Robbie J. Hinch Hesselbein and her husband Kent
and Molly M. Hill and her husband Gary; brother, Robert Glenn Gibbs and his
wife Barbara; grandsons, William Joseph Bowen and his wife Katelyn Scott
Bowen, Eathan Joseph Frasier and Duston Joseph Frasier, Jr.; great-grandson,
Asher Greyson Bowen; and a host of other relatives and friends.

follow in Blanton Chapel Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be
from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Mrs.
Foster passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016 at National Healthcare in
Tullahoma, TN.

Mrs. Foster was born in Beechgrove, TN, the daughter of the late William
Porter and Susie Shelton Eaton. She was a homemaker and a member of
Friendship Baptist Church. Katy enjoyed cooking, flowers, and the piano.

In addition to her parents, Katy was also preceded in death by her
husband, Herschel Foster, who passed away in 1992; six brothers, Paul,
Pruett, Ralph, Rye, and Ed Eaton and Jimmy Hoover; and one sister, Dera
Broyles. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce (Max)
Holland of Hixson, TN, Elaine (Phil) Pennington of Ooltewah, TN, and
Linda (Phillip) Fletcher of Manchester, TN; five grandchildren, Laura
Holland, Amy (Sam) Francis, and Molly (Chris) Epperson, all of
Chattanooga, Rita (Greg) Davidson and Jay Fletcher, both of Manchester;
five great grandchildren, Carrie (fiancé, Jason Rigney) Haley, Caitlyn
Haley and Caleb Davidson of Manchester, and Lainey and Maya Epperson of
Chattanooga.

March 27, 2016 at the Alive Hospice in Nashville. Mr. Miller was a
retired United States Air Force Major. He was preceded in death by his
parents, Harold Alvin Miller and Mary Alice Dansdill Miller. Mr. Miller
is survived by his wife, Lucienne Verret Miller of Manchester, TN;
children, Angela N. Larsen of Omaha Nebraska and Peter A. Miller of
Plattsmouth, Nebraska; sister, Barbara Mueller of Laramie, Wyoming;
brother, Stephen Miller of Alpine, Utah; two grandchildren, Cole Larsen
and Jack Larsen both of Omaha, Nebraska; and a host of friends. A
memorial service was conducted on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 4:00 p.m.
at the St. Mark Catholic Church located in Manchester, TN. In lieu of

into rest on March 27, 2016 at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center
in Nashville. Mr. Frazier was preceded in death by his wife, Mattie
Clark Frazier; son, Logan Maloy Frazier, Jr.; parents, the late Ike
Frazier and Emma Ferrell Frazier ; and grandchildren, Christopher
Munsey, Jr. And Dala Elliott. Mr. Frazier was a retired Pest Control
Exterminator; a United States Army Veteran and a member of the Riley
Creek Baptist Church. He is survived by his nine children, Kathy Banks
(Michael) of Normandy, TN, Debra Walter (Bill) of Lexington, KY, Teresa
Frazier of Manchester, TN, Pam Jamison (Eric) of Manchester, TN, Randy
Frazier (Jeanette) of Manchester, TN, Cindy Parsley (Ricky) of
Manchester, TN, Melodie Nelson (Cliff) of Flintville, TN, Elvis Frazier
of Manchester, TN and Susan Parsley (Donny) of Manchester, TN; 33
grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and
friends. Visitation was on Friday, April 1, 2016 from 5 – 8 p.m. The
funeral service was conducted on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Central
Funeral Home at 1 p.m. with Bro. Dwight Duckworth and Bro. Michael
Banks officiating. Burial followed at the New Reddens Cemetery with U.S.

follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be
from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Saturday, April 2, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Cornelison passed away on Friday, April 1, 2016 at her residence.

Ruth was born in Elmira, NY, the daughter of the late Howard and Ruth
Evelyn Nemanich Hoagland. She was a homemaker and a 1961 graduate of
West End High School in Nashville, where she attended monthly dinners
with her fellow classmates.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was also preceded in death by one
daughter, Kimberly Allen Butler; and one brother, Merton Hoagland. She
is survived by her loving husband of over 20 years, Neal Cornelison of
Murfreesboro, TN; one son, James Allen of Murfreesboro, TN; two
step-daughters, Angel Ann (Ryan) Villalta of Tullahoma, TN and Chrystal
(Anthony) Jaco of Manchester, TN; one brother, Howard Stephen (Tommie)
Hoagland of Tullahoma, TN; two sisters, Mary Ann (Ray) Meeks of Pelham,
TN and Martha Lucille Corley of Newnan, GA; eight grandchildren; and a
host of nieces and nephews.

A native of Coffee County, he was the son of the late Hoyt Adams and Nellie Evans Adams.
He was of the Baptist Faith, loved his family and was a member of Local Union 572.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna M. Adams.
He is survived by one daughter; Wendy and husband Heath Mahar of Manchester, two brothers; Robert and wife JoAnne Adams and Raymond and wife Carolyn Adams both of Manchester, Tennessee, two sisters; Linda Adams and Melissa and husband Eddie Wiser also of Manchester, Tennessee, two grandchildren; Sierra and Brayden Mahar as well as several loving nieces and nephews.
