Mrs. Alaunda Michelle Vacovsky, age 53, of Hillsboro, TN, passed from this life on Sunday, December 12, 2021, in Tullahoma, TN. Mrs. Vacovsky was born on September 10, 1968 in Blytheville, AR, to her late parents William Jones and Lola Canerdy. She owned and operated Missy’s Spice Shop in Tullahoma, TN, and was a member of the Tullahoma Chamber of Commerce. Missy’s Spice Shop was her ultimate life goal and she succeeded in creating her business. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Tommy Patillo. Mrs. Vacovsky is survived by her husband of 32 years, Chuck Vacovsky; daughters, Heather (Kara) Stockdale and Michelle Vacovsky; brother, William (Danielle) Jones; half-sister, Elizabeth (Jason) Perry; several nieces and nephews. Annie Jane Jones
Annie Jane Jones passed this life on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at the age
of 90. Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, December 20, 2021 at 12
PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with burial to follow at Oakwood
Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until the service
time.
Annie, a native of Tullahoma, was the daughter of the late Huey Branch and
Emma Weaver Branch. She preceded in death by her husband, Cleadus Jones;
daughters, Janie Simmons and Betty Mae Jones; grandson, Torrey Simmons, two
brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Sons (Ronnie); sister, Virginia
Evans; grandchildren, Teddy Simmons, Jeff Simmons, David Jones and Sara
Hill; great-grandchildren, Liam Jones and Kelby Rollins and great
great-grandchildren, Iris and Amon Rollins.

Donald Bruce Ball
DONALD BRUCE BALL
Louisville, KY – 74, passed away peacefully on Dec. 7, 2021.
Don was a highly respected Archaeologist, M.A., R.P.A., and U.S. Army
Veteran. Born in Nashville, TN, he spent the majority of his life in
Louisville, KY.
Don graduated, in 1970, from Middle Tennessee State University,
Murfreesboro, TN with a B.S. degree. He later graduated in 1977, from
University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN with a M.A. degree.
Don entered the U.S. Army 18 June 1970. He served in Berlin, Germany, with
A Company, 2nd Battalion, 6th U.S. Infantry, and a unit of the Berlin
Brigade. He was discharged from active service 21 December 1971 having
obtained the rank of Sergeant (E-5). He was the recipient of the National
Defense Service Medal, the Army of Occupation Medal and the Good Conduct
Medal. Honorable discharge was effective 1 June 1976.
Don’s professional career was spent as an Archaeologist at the U.S. Army
Corp of Engineers, Louisville District, Environmental Analysis Branch,
Planning Division.
Don continued his work in archaeology with research interests focused on:
Prehistoric archaeology of the Southeastern U.S.; History of archaeology
research Southeastern U.S.; 19th Century – rural historic and industrial
archaeology and firearms technology; Spelean history and more. In his
field he authored and co authored 467 Publications. He has another 35 plus
publications in-press or submitted for professional review.
Don is survived by his beloved Marcia Hemming of over 20 years; his sister,
Mary Jane Knight; his son, Donovan Ball and grandchildren Anna and
Sophie.

Braston Keith Hodge
Mr. Braston Keith Hodge, age 22 passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021. He was born December 19, 1998 to Brian Keith Hodge and the late Kimberly Shawn Holder Hodge in Winchester, TN. Braston loved motocross and any kind of car. He was a great father and very kind. He will be greatly missed, especially by his children. He was a great friend and was able to put a smile on anyone’s face.
In addition to this mother, he is preceded in death by his grandfather, Bobby Holder.
Braston is survived by his wife, Faith Hawkersmith; 2 sons, Nash Hodge and Keiston Hodge; 1 daughter, Mia Hodge; father, Brian Keith Hodge; brother, Courtland Hodge; grandmother, Brenda Holder; cousins, Adam (Jenn) Hodge and their children, Raine, Gemma and River Hodge.
Visitation with the family will be held Sunday, December 19 from 12noon until 2:00pm at Central Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life service to begin at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Central Funeral Home.
Interment will take place in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

Charles Edwin Bryant
Funeral services for Charles Edwin Bryant, age 51 of Manchester, will be conducted on Thursday, December 16, 2021, in the Coffee County Funeral Chapel at 3 PM. Burial will follow in the Concord Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, December 15 from 6 ~ 8 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Bryant passed away on Tuesday, December 14 at Legacy Health & Rehab in Manchester.
Charles was born on November 11, 1970, to the late Lloyd Bryant and Dorothy Kilgore Bryant. He was a self-employed painter and he enjoyed fishing.
In addition to his mother, Dorothy, Charles is survived by his daughters, Clarissa Bryant of IL, and Cindy Glissin of Tullahoma; brothers, Greg Bryant (Dana), Teddy Bryant, and Gary Bryant; sister, Mala Miller; nephews, Terry Lee Miller, and Gregory Lyn Bryant; and one grandchild.

Anthony was born in Manchester, the son of the late Riley Hershel Arnold
Sr. and Lillian Louise Meeks of Pelham, TN. He was a U S Marine veteran
and enjoyed fishing, working on electronics and his work as a truck driver.

Burns and sister, Charlotte Arnold.

Ms. Sandra Lynn Elkins, age 69 of Manchester, was born on May 10, 1952, to the late Kenneth Adams and Mildred M. Trubyfill, in Charlotte, NC. She was retired from the Mennhein Auto Auction in Lebanon, TN.
Sandra is survived by her son, Jeremy Russell; grandchildren, Brooklyn, London, and Charlotte Russell; brothers, Kenneth Adams, Donald Adams, and Phil Davis; several extended family members and a host of friends.

Henry “Randy” Randolph Boswell Jr.
Henry “Randy” Randolph Boswell Jr of Tullahoma, TN passed this life on
Saturday, December 11, 2021, Vanderbilt Harton Hospital at the age of 78.
Services are scheduled on Friday, December 17, at 10 AM at Daves-Culbertson
Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 9 AM -10 AM. Burial will
be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Nashville at 2 PM.
Mr. Boswell, a native of St. Petersburg, FL, was the son of the late Henry
Randolph Boswell Sr. and the late Beatrice Mensen Boswell. He was a U S
Navy veteran serving in Navy Communications and a graduate of Middle
Tennessee State University. Mr. Boswell enjoyed woodworking, coin
collecting and traveling. While growing up in Florida he showed walking
horses and always enjoyed attending the Celebration activities in
Shelbyville. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tullahoma and
enjoyed going to the Coffee County Senior Citizens where he and his wife
would participate in Country Line Dancing. He was avid football fan and
enjoyed watching the Titans, the Vols and Alabama play. He always enjoyed
vacationing in his home state and visiting the beaches.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Betty Ann
Collins and Mary Beck.
Mr. Boswell is survived by his wife, Barbara Boswell of Tullahoma; son,
Zachary Skipper (Haley) of Birmingham; daughter, Lindsay Rowlett (Robert)
of Manchester and grandchildren, Hannah, Sawyer and Jackson.

James E Rainey Sr. of Tullahoma, TN passed this life on Saturday, December
11, 2021 at his residence at the age of 86. Services are scheduled on

Mr. Rainey, a native of Chapel Hill, TN, was the son of the late Glen Dale
and Alberta Waggner Rainey. He was a U S Navy veteran and enjoyed fishing,
hunting and gardening. “He grew the best tomatoes around.” He was a member
of the Victory Baptist Church of Tullahoma. He enjoyed hosting fish fries
with the fish being caught by he and his pastor, Jack Lambert.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Dorothy
Jean Dorsett.
Mr. Rainey is survived by his wife, Norma Jean Rainey of Tullahoma; son,
James E. Rainey Jr. (Lisa) of Tullahoma; daughter, Carla Jane Durm of
