Mary Floyd Hice Crunk of Normandy passed this life on Wednesday,
October 5th, 2016 at her home at the age of 89, one day shy of her 90th
birthday. Mrs. Crunk was born in Tullahoma to the late Rev. Lillard L.
and Hazel Duckworth Hice. She graduated from Tullahoma High School in
1945 and went on to attend Motlow State Community College as well as
Middle Tennessee State University. During her life Mrs. Crunk worked as
an educational assistant with the Tullahoma City School System. She was a
member of Grace Baptist Church in Tullahoma as well as the Bethany Good
Neighbors Club. She also loved to travel when she could, and played the
piano at the Gospel Tabernacle Baptist Church for many years. In addition
to her parents, Mrs. Crunk was preceded in death by her husband of 65
years, Charles L. Crunk; and her sister-in-law, Joyce Hice. She is
survived by two daughters, Kathy Russell and her husband Craig of
Tullahoma, and Debbie Crownover and her husband Ronnie of Normandy; three
grandchildren, Keith Crownover and his wife Lauraleigh of Tullahoma, Lori
Wright, and Kyle Russell and his wife Becky of Springville, Alabama; six
great-grandchildren, Tyler and Matthew Wright, Katherine and Elizabeth
Crownover, and Noah and Harper Russell; one brother, Jack Hice of
Normandy; one sister-in-law, Betty Tucker of Tullahoma; and numerous
nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation for Mrs. Crunk will be held on
Sunday, October 9th, 2016 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 4:00-8:00pm.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 10th, 2016 at 11:00am in
the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim McGehee officiating. Burial
will follow at Bethany Cemetery in Normandy. For those who wish, in lieu
of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Bethany
Memorial Fund, c/o Wilma Kane, 1646 Riley Creek Road, Normandy, Tennessee

Funeral services for Lillian Gertude Snare, age 82 of Manchester, will be conducted on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Manchester Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Owen officiating. Burial will follow in Manchester City Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held prior to the service from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Mrs. Snare passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at her home.

Mrs. Snare was born on September 30, 1934 to the late Robert Rust and Annie Mae Spry. She was a member of New Union Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, James Smart; her second husband, Amund Snare; brother, Robert Darrell Rust; sister, Zora Mae Rust. Survived by her step-daughters, Janice Snare and Phyllis Willis; grandchildren, Terri Ulatowski (Edward), Paul April (Dora), Michelle April; great-grandchildren, Jadyn, Mason and Exavire.

Graveside Services for Mr. Lloyd Herman Brown, age 74 of Manchester, will be conducted at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Graveside Service will take place at 2:00 PM in Bradley Cemetery in Erin, Tennessee. Mr. Brown passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Unity Medical Center of Manchester, Tennessee.

Mr. Brown was born on June 26, 1942 in Colorado to the late William and Elizabeth Brown. He was a Navy veteran of WWII. He worked for Peterbilt as a mechanic until retirement. He enjoyed playing guitar and being surrounded by his family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Brown; his brother, Clyde Brown. Survived by his step-sons, Keith Raney and wife Donna, Kevin Raney and wife Jamie, Jeremy Brown, Austin Brown, Matthew Brown; step-daughters, Laura Monroe and husband Terry Bennett; 1 brother, Charlie Brown and wife Juanita; 3 sisters Norma Cox and husband Fred, Mary Richards and Margaret Beck; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Stephen L. Douglas, age 71, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016
surrounded by his wife and daughters. Steve was born August 3, 1945 in
Franklin, Kentucky to Howard Brice Douglas and Wally Chitwood Douglas who
both preceded him in death. He grew up in Greenbriar, Tennessee where he
spent his youth doing just about every job available in his father’s
grocery store, Douglas IGA. He graduated from Greenbriar High School in
1963. Steve then attended Middle Tennessee State University from 1963 to
1965 before proudly serving in the United States Air Force from 1965
until 1969. He reported to the Base Commander, specializing in locating
enemy combatants using aerial photographs during the Vietnam War. While
in service to his country he married his college sweetheart, Susan
Wilson, in Tullahoma, Tennessee in 1967 where they would eventually make
their home. After an honorable discharge from the Air Force he returned
to MTSU where he graduated with honors in 1970 with a Bachelor of Science
in Business Administration. Reflecting on his time as a Boy Scout and
further distinction as an Eagle Scout, Steve would eventually serve as
Chairman of the Boy Scouts of America Tullahoma Council. During his life
he was a member of the Tullahoma Rotary Club, Lakewood Golf and Country
Club and was a former member of First Baptist Church, Tullahoma and a
current member of First United Methodist Church, Tullahoma. For years he
contributed to the Toys 4 Tots program, which was an experience he shared
with his daughters. Closest to his heart was his annual donation to the
Chaplain at the Fort Campbell, Kentucky Army post. The donation was given
each Christmas and his letter asked the Chaplain to use the donation to
his discretion. It was always used to support the family of a service
member sent abroad, and ultimately allowed the soldier’s spouse and
children to travel from the base to be with their family during the
holidays. In Tullahoma, he worked at First Federal Savings & Loan. He
then became President and CEO of United Guarantee Savings and Loan.
Later, he founded his own business, Douglas Appraisal Service where he
completed over 30,000 home and land appraisals. Steve also loved teaching
night classes in real estate at Motlow State Community College. Steve was
preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ronnie and Mike
Douglas. He is survived by his loving wife, who he adored, Susan Wilson
Douglas; daughter Brooke Douglas Thompson (Greg) of Brentwood, TN,
daughter Ashley Douglas Rossi (Tom) of Carrollton, TX; grandchildren
Audrey & Will Thompson and Jack & Alex Rossi. Visitation will be held
Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with a
funeral service to immediately follow at Kilgore Funeral Home, 215
Mitchell Blvd., Tullahoma, TN, 37388. There will be a private family
burial held later. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to
the Fort Campbell Fisher House at 652 Joel Drive, Fort Campbell, KY 42223

Stephen L. Douglas” on your donation.

David Wade Cagle age 66 of Monteagle passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016, at The Waters of Winchester. He was a son of the late James Thomas Cagle and Robena Thomas Cagle MaGouirk.

Survivors include his step-father, James “Red” (Dorothy) MaGouirk; sister, Mary Elizabeth (Al) Ludwig and her children and grandchildren, Tommy, Kerry, Tasha, Tonya and Kasey; sister, Pam (Jamie) Rogers, sister, Robin MaGouirk, sister, Vickie (Bill) Thomas, sister, Tina Prince (Joe Petty); several nieces and nephews including Bridgett, Peyton, Blake, Payton, and Cecily.

A Celebration Of Life service will be 4:00 P.M. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Brother Glen Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday 2-4 P.M. at the funeral home. Eva Nell Richards, age 88, a resident of Tullahoma (Moore County), TN
passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at her residence. Funeral Services
are scheduled for Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 2 PM at the
Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jack Lambert and Bro. Bill
Rhoton officiating. Burial will follow at Estill Springs Cemetery.
Visitation
with the family will be Tuesday, October 4, 2016 from 5 – 8 PM at
Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.

A native of Tullahoma, she was the daughter of the late Jerry Clifford and
Manerva Swanson Sullivan. Mrs. Richards worked as an inspector for Wilson
Sporting Goods for several years and then became a cook for the Moore
County School system. She was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in
Tullahoma. She loved to cook and was very involved with her church,
teaching Sunday school for many years. She enjoyed tending her gardens and
loved flowers. Most important to her was her family and her home.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by twelve brothers
and sisters.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph Richards of Tullahoma (Moore County);
two sons, Darrel Richards and his wife, Sherry of Lynchburg and Doug
Richards and his wife, Debra of Tullahoma; one daughter, Durinda Hale of
Tullahoma; eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
