12/30/16 — Joanna Ruth Bailey

Joanna Ruth Bailey was a native of Portland, Indiana, born January 6,
1923, to the late Alva Schuler and Gladys Coon Binegar. Joanna was
married to the late Joseph Albert Bailey. She was also preceded in death
by a daughter; Mary (Bailey) Bradburn, two grandchildren, five brothers,
and a sister. Joanna moved to Manchester, Tennessee in her last eight
years of her life and enjoyed visiting friends and enjoyed going places.
She loved dressing up and being in the crowd of people having fun. She
will be missed by all that knew and loved her. Joanna is survived by a
son; Bill J. Bailey (Rebecca) of Portland, Indiana, and a daughter; Joyce
A. Brock of Beechgrove, Tennessee, ten grandchildren, and fifteen
great-grandchildren.
VISITATION: Wednesday, December 28, 2016, from 1 – 3:00 P.M. at the
Central Funeral Home, 2812 Hillsboro Highway, Manchester, Tennessee

12/31/16 — Regina Faye Batts-Hendon

Regenia Faye Batts-Hendon, 48, a resident of Tullahoma, TN passed away on
Friday, December 23, 2016 at her residence. Funeral Services are scheduled
for Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 1 PM at the Church of Christ at Cedar
Lane. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation with the
family will be from 12 PM until the service time.

A native of Tullahoma, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Henry Batts
and Ida Brown Stovall of Tullahoma. She attended the Church of Christ at
Cedar Lane and enjoyed cooking and gardening. Her favorite activity was
being with her children. She loved playing games with them.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by three sons, Derrius Porsche
Goodman of Smyrna, Marshall Dennis of Tullahoma and Jayland Amarion Hendon
of Tullahoma; daughter, Jayla Amarai Hendon of Tullahoma; two brothers,
Joseph Brown and his wife, Melissa of Knoxville and Kerry Stovall of Palm
Desert, CA; sister, Nona Jolene Batts of Tullahoma; stepfather, Hershall
Stovall of Estill Springs; grandchild, Pharo Porsche Goodman and special
friends, Dorothy Winton of Tullahoma, Richard Hendon of Tullahoma and Angie
Keith Sanders of Winchester.

12/27/16 — Lewis Hazelwood

Lewis Hazelwood of Tullahoma, passed this life on Friday, December
23rd, 2016 at his home at the age of 86. Mr. Hazelwood was born in
Lincoln County to the late Ernest and Edna Bates Hazelwood. He proudly
served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean
War. Mr. Hazelwood was the former owner and operator of Lewis Gulf and
Lewis 66 Stations and was a member of the Grundy Street Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Lera
Tucker and Jewell Felts; brothers, E.W. Hazelwood, Cecil Hazelwood, and
Bobby Hazelwood; and one grandchild, Taylor Hazelwood. Mr. Hazelwood is
survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Martha Hazelwood of Tullahoma;
three sons, David Hazelwood and his wife Lorry of Hot Springs, Arkansas,
Gary Hazelwood and his wife Sherry of Lynchburg, and Andy Hazelwood and
his wife Christy of Tullahoma; grandchildren, Will Hazelwood, Garrett
Hazelwood, Zenayda Garcia, Ana Ortiz, Jessica Orozco and her husband
Joseph, and Jodi Lively; and two great-grandchildren, Jordan and Josiah
Orozco. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 26th, 2016 at Kilgore
Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00pm. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday,
December 27th, 2016 at 11:00am in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel with
Bro. Horace Jacobs officiating. Pallbearers will be Will Hazelwood,
Garrett Hazelwood, Larry Ray, James Cole, Tom Mowbray, and Jim Sanders.
Gary Jones will serve as an honorary pallbearer. For those who wish, in

12/29/16 — Sue Farris Rossman

Sue Farris Rossman of Tullahoma passed this life on Wednesday,
December 21st, 2016 at Brookdale Assisted Living at the age of 91. Mrs.
Rossman was born in Bridgeport, Alabama to the late Pascol and Lennis
Barham Farris. During her life, she worked as a Printing Compositor at
Arnold Engineering Development Center. In addition to her parents, Mrs.
Rossman was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Rossman Sr.; two
brothers, Pascol Barham Farris and Richard Farris; and one niece Laura
Barabas. She is survived by three step-sons, Philip Rossman Jr. and his
wife Linn of Kathleen, Georgia, Joe Rossman and his wife Pam of Florida,
and Dan Rossman of Celina, Tennessee; step-grandchildren, Valerie Rossman
of Tullahoma, Dawn Warren and her husband Jimmy of Shelbyville, Jennifer
Alsup and her husband Trey of Lascassas, and Jeff Rossman and his wife
Teresa of Nashville; step-great-grandchildren, Dakota, Shelby, Dillon,
Alex, Bailey, Phoebe, Sydney, Carley, Emily, Michael, Joshua, and
Caitlin; nieces, Sue Banks of Tullahoma, Gail Rossman of Tullahoma, Patty
Sharp of Portland, Oregon, and Syble Throneberry of Tullahoma; and two
nephews, Bradley and Richard Farris. A graveside service for Mrs.
Rossman will be held on Thursday, December 29th, 2016 at 11:00am at
Oakwood Cemetery. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, the family asks

Tullahoma, Tennessee 37388.

12/28/16 — Jewel E. Miller

Mrs. Jewel E.Miller- Johnson of Paterson, New Jersey passed December 17, 2016. She was the seventh child born to Robert and Geneva Morrow Miller in Elora, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Genell, Eddie C., Clark, James , Glenn, Dianne Ruth and Willie Jo Hill.

She leaves to cherish her memories, husband, Donald Johnson; son, Bruce Miller; daughter, Maria Miller;

Three Grandchildren, Shawndra, Jamar and Tashia Miller.

Nine great-grandchildren, Andrea, Ashantai, Aniya, Gracie, Kingston, Tyonah, Tavon, Tiara, and Faith Miller.

Great-Great- Grandson, Quandre Miller

Two Brothers, Wade Miller of Paterson, New Jersey and Leonard Miller of Clifton, New Jersey.

Four sisters, Blanch Williams and Leatha Mason both of Winchester, TN; Barbara (James) Rollins of Stone Mountain, Ga and Clara Talley of Memphis, TN.

Three brothers in law, Five sisters in law. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends .

Visitation, Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at First Missionary Baptist Church with Funeral Services to follow at 1:00 pm at First Baptist Church with Elder Willie Lee Bonner, Jr officiating and Rev. Phillip Buchanan as Eulogist.

Interment: Winchester Memorial Park.

12/26/16 — Mary L. Braughton

Mary L Braughton, age 92, a resident of Tullahoma, TN, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at her residence. Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, December 26 at 2 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with burial to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1 PM until the service time.
A native of Racine, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Lena LaScala Rizzo. She retired from Decorel Picture Frames in Mundelein, Illinois. She was a member of the Tullahoma Church of Jesus Christ of Latter – Day Saints, where she served as church librarian. She loved animals and was always rescuing cats, dogs, birds or any animal that needed help. She enjoyed writing children’s stories and loved to play the lottery. She enjoyed music, yodeling and dancing. She was a good wife and mother and always there for those who needed her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Forrest Allen Braughton; brother, Frank Rizzo and sister, Rose Byrd.
She is survived by her daughter Cheryl Stephens of Tullahoma; sisters, Mamie Algiers of Kenosha, Wisconsin, Josephina Cantwell of St. Louis, Missouri and Nina Unterbrink and her husband, Milton of Racine, Wisconsin; three grandchildren, Erin Gray and her husband, Eric of Tullahoma; Lucas Stephen and his wife, Lorena of Tullahoma and Cory Stephens and his wife, Caitlin of Ooltewah and eight great grandchildren, Mark Gray, Hayley McMahan, Kaydence Gray, Lorena Stephens, Alyssa Stephens, Genia Stephens, Layla Stephens and Landen Stephens and one on the way.

12/28/16 — Joan Kimberly Coile

Ms. Joan Kimberly Coile, age 49, of Wartrace, TN, passed from this life at Harton Regional Medical Center on December 21, 2016. A Memorial Service will be held at Tullahoma First Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 11:30 AM with Dr. Steven Yates officiating.

Joan Coile was born in Tullahoma, Tennessee, the daughter of John Nance Coile and Thelma Claudine Shearin. She was an environmentalist for the state and was an active member of the Tullahoma First Presbyterian Church.

Ms. Coile is survived by her loving parents, Joan Coile and Thelma Shearin.

12/23/16–Gordon M Finney

Gordon M. Finney was born April 24, 1930, a native of Dechard, Tennessee,
to the late Reuben Mitchell and Ruthie Dimple (Weddington) Finney. Gordon
was married to the late Bernice Finney of Estill Springs, Tennessee.
Gordon and Bernice were members of the Prairie Plains Church of Christ.
Gordon loved farming and working on tractors. He loved his dogs and
enjoyed most of all his grandchildren. Gordon is survived by four
children; Ernest Finney (Donna Gail) of Hillsboro, Tennessee, Linda
Newman (Mike) of Estill Springs, Tennessee, Donna Northcutt (Mark) of
Winchester, Tennessee, and Michael Finney of Nashville, Tennessee, five
grandchildren; Suzanne Mitchell of Estill Springs, Tennessee, Amy Morgan
of Hillsboro, Tennessee, Kristy Jones of Hillsboro, Tennessee, Sabrina
Franklin of Winchester, Tennessee, Brandy Anderson of Deberry, Florida,
ten great-grandchildren; Emily Townsend, Morgan Mitchell, Bailey Morgan,
Meagan Jones, Mason Mitchell, Abby Morgan, Maddy Jones, Hunter Anderson,
Carter Franklin, and Case Franklin, two great-great grandchildren; Eli

12/23/16 — Patricia Jo Bunch

Patricia Jo Bunch, age 65 of Fairmount, IN, passed away on Sunday, December
18, 2016 at Tennova Healthcare-Harton in Tullahoma, TN. Funeral Services
will be held Friday, December 23, 2015 at 12 PM at the Armes-Hunt Funeral
Home in Fairmount, IN with burial to follow at Park Cemetery. Visitation
will be Friday, from 10 AM until the service time. No local services are
scheduled.

A native of Anderson, IN, Mrs. Bunch was the daughter of the late Walter
Charles and Eileen Scott Wihebrink. She attended Main Street Wesleyan
Church in Jonesboro, IN. She enjoyed watching cooking shows on TV and
playing games on her laptop.

She is survived by her husband, William Bunch of Fairmount, IN; son, Jared
Bunch and his wife, Alyssa of Michigan; daughter, Erica Cook and her
husband, Chris of Manchester, TN; brothers Robert Wihebrink, Donald
Wihebrink and his wife, Susan of Warsaw, IN and Walter Wihebrink and his
wife, Dana of Michigan; sister, Barbara Turpin and her husband, Jeff of
California and Virginia Gard of Ft. Wayne, IN and seven grandchildren.

12/18/16 — Ruby Inez Moore

Ruby Inez Moore, was a native to Albertville, Alabama, and daughter to
the late Lucious and Sarah Cash Burdette. She was married to the late
Curtis Oliver Moore. She is also preceded in death by three sisters; six
brothers; and three children; Francis Dean Lane, Gilbert Moore, and
Charles Moore. Ruby enjoyed quilting, fishing, gardening, and cooking for
her family. She was a wonderful homemaker and loved being at home caring
for them. Babies brought her the most joy. She loved taking care of them
and enjoyed how they always appreciated her love toward them. Anyone that
knew Ruby will always have a special love and place in their hearts for
her and she will be greatly missed. She is survived by five children;
Sarah S. (Bill) Brown of Beechgrove, Tennessee, Linda J. Gilley of
McMinnville, Tennessee, Joyce A. (Jerry) Prater of Beechgrove, Tennessee,
Randall E. (Morrisa) Moore of Manchester, Tennessee, Pam K. (Billy) Hill
of Hillsboro, Tennessee, a sister; Bernice Carter, several grandchildren,
great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
