Michael Derry Demery
July 17, 1950 – May 2, 2017

Michael Derry Demery, age 66, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at his home in Manchester. Survived by his daughters, Joie Pauley (Tim), Julia Nunez.

The family will hold a private service at a later date.

Coffee County Funeral Chapel is honored to serve Mr. Demery’s family.

5/5/17 — Michael Vance Phillips

Michael Vance Phillips of Manchester, passed this life on Wednesday, May 3,
2017 at his residence at the age of 64 years. Funeral services are
scheduled for Friday, May 5, 2017 at 1 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home
with burial to follow at Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation with the family
will be Friday, May 5, 2017 from 11 AM until the service time of 1 PM.

A native of Ypsilanti, Michigan, he was the son of the late Ervin and
Juanita Smith Phillips. He was raised in Briceville, TN and was a U S Army
veteran. He worked as a Boilermaker for many years. He enjoyed fishing,
hunting, target shooting and watching UT Football. He also loved spending
time with his family.

Mr. Phillips is survived by his wife, Kathy Phillips of Manchester; four
sons, Ervin M Phillips of McMinnville, Mickey Phillips and his wife,
Rebecca of Manchester, Nickey Phillips and his wife, Amanda of Manchester
and Dustin Phillips of Manchester; two daughters, Melody McCormick and her
boyfriend, Tim Elam of Manchester and Katrina Fults and her husband, Floyd
of Tullahoma; two sisters, Debra Martin and her husband, Joe of Manchester
and Brenda Phillips Braden of Kingston, TN; seventeen grandchildren and two
great grandchildren.

Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Franklin Wayne Edwards 59, of Tullahoma passed Monday, May 1. 2017 at Tennova Healthcare Harton.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Edwards of Tullahoma, Tn.

5/6/17–Jacqueline Elaine Jones

Jacqueline Elaine Jones, age 49, passed away in Nashville at the Centennial Medical Center with her family at her bedside on May 1, 2017. Jacqueline was born on July 17, 1967 in Shelbyville to Brenda Sue Green and William Benton Stacy. Jacqueline resided in Woodbury and was a member of the Begin Life In Jesus Christ Church. She enjoyed cooking, and working as a Caregiver. The time she spent with her patients was always very rewarding. Not only did she care for people, she loved animals especially dogs and pet frogs.

Jacqueline is preceded in death by two grandmothers; Zada Atnip and Mary Ezell Stacey, two grandfathers; Jack Atnip and Clarence Stacey, two aunts; Mary Don Ashford and Hattie Farless, two uncles; Clyde Jernigan and Steve Stacey, and a cousin, Sandra Holdaway.

She is survived by her father, William Benton (Valerie) Stacey of Beechgrove, TN, mother, Brenda Sue Green of Smithville, TN, two children; Justin B. (Alyssa) Jones of Beechgrove, TN, Nicole and (Carlos) Ramiraz of Beechgrove, TN, two grandchildren; Amber Isabella and Jazmin Leigh Ramirez of Beechgrove, TN, three sisters; April and (Tony) Chapman of Smithville, TN, Angie and (Mark) Crook of Statesville, TN, Heather and (George) Qualls of Beechgrove, TN, a brother, Ricky and (Hazel) Stacey of Beechgrove, TN, two aunts; Pearl and (Jerry) Kirby and Clara Jernigan, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, friends, especially Al Morgan and Mary Cantrell. Jacqueline will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate for friends and family to make donations toward Jacqueline’s burial expense. Thank you.

Frank Thomas, age 68 of Manchester, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017
at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Clay and Alline
Morton Thomas; his brothers, Kenneth Thomas, Billy Wayne Thomas, Leonard C.
Thomas; sisters, Elizabeth Thomas, Lorene Thomas Anderson, Hazel Lee Thomas
Green, Judy Ann Thomas. Survived by his brother, John D. Thomas (Bobbi);
sister, Linda Thomas Doyle (Daniel); several nieces and nephews.

According to Frank’s wishes no services will be held at this time.

5/4/17 — Richard Wayne Hill

Funeral Services for Mr. Richard Wayne Hill age 48 of Hillsboro will be
held 2:00pm Thursday May 4, 2017 at Manchester Funeral Home with Reverend
Spencer Vanorder officiating. Burial will follow in Methodist Cemetery with
Keith Hill, David McBay, Tyler Stephens, Adam Morris, Dustin Hereford and
Donnie Watts serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the Hill family will
be Wednesday May 3, 2017 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at Manchester Funeral
Home. Mr. Hill went home to be with his Lord and Savior Monday May 1, 2017.

Mr. Hill is preceded in death by his mother; Joann Tucker Hill and his
grandparents Jean and Dub Hill. He is survived by his wife of 5 years;
Michelle Hill, daughters; Kelley Hill of Decherd, Jessica Hill of
Manchester, step-son; Robert L. Cummins, his father; J.W. Hill and two
grandchildren; Addison Moore and Dusty Gilliam. He is also survived by his
brother; Eric (Amy) Hill of Manchester, two sisters; Sheila (Jerry) Walls
of Decherd, Larissa (Tim) McCullough of Winchester and six special nieces
and nephew; Demetria Walls, Paige Matheson, Shae McCullough, Skyler Hill,
Avery Hill and Libby Hill.

Mr. Hill was a member of White Oak Grove Church of God. He loved his
church, gospel music, fishing and entertaining his grandchildren.

5/2/17–Alvin Fred Sain

Alvin Fred Sain, age 94, passed away at his residence in Manchester on May 1, 2017. Mr. Sain was born on February 8, 1923, in Viola, to the late Alvin G. and Elizabeth Winton Sain. Alvin Fred is also preceded in death by his wife Ojena Medford Sain, two sons; Terry Alvin Sain and Fred LaVon Sain, a brother, Brown Sain, and a sister, Carolyn.

Mr. Sain is survived by two children; Lynda Harrell and Charles L. Sain, nine grandchildren; Lisa C. Ocelott of Shelbyville, TN, Melody J. Everett, Bobby C. Harrell, Melanie D. Mitchell, Charles Lavon Sain, Joey Dale Sain, Crystal Sain, Bryan Sain, and Adam Sain, a sister, Bobby J. Parker, a brother, Tom G. Sain, several nieces, nephews, friends, and a very special buddy named, “Bouncer” (Alvin’s miniature pincher). Mr. Sain and Bouncer were together day in and day out for years and formed a very tight bond. Mr. Sain will be greatly missed by all.

5/3/17 — Harold Millsaps

Mr. Harold Millsaps, 84, passed away at the Lynchburg Nursing Center on April 30, 2017.
He was born in Moore County, Tennessee on March 15, 1933 to the late Dock and Ona Chapman Millsaps.
A good, kind man, he loved his flowers and tending to his winter wood supply.
He is survived by his brother Jimmy Millsaps and his wife Elizabeth of Lynchburg along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He was also preceded in death by brothers Robert and Fred Millsaps and sister Mary Andrews.
Visitation with family members will be from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Lynchburg Cemetery

5/4/17 — Marion Junior Morris

Mr. Marion Junior Morris passed away surrounded by his family at his Winchester, Tennessee residence on Sunday, April 30, 2017. He was 80 years old.
A steel worker by trade, he was born in Franklin County, Tennessee on March 7, 1937 to the late Dozier and Lula Taylor Morris. An outdoors-man, he loved to fish, hunt and garden.
He was preceded in death by his wife Cora Sypult Morris. He is survived by his son Jim Morris and his wife Patricia of Winchester and daughter Ralene Spitzig and her husband Charles of Huntsville, Alabama. He was also preceded in death by his daughter Bonnie Morris.
Eight grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren survive.
A memorial service will be held at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 2 p.m. Visitation with family members will begin at 12 p.m. until the time of service.

5/2/17 — Gary Lee Corvin

Mr. Gary Lee Corvin, age 49, of Beech Grove, Tennessee passed away at his residence on April 27, 2017.
He was born on Jan. 1, 1968 in Tullahoma, Tennessee to Caroline Lee George and the late Leroy Corvin.
A handyman by trade, he loved his family, his dog Roscoe and fishing.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Evia Bryant Corvin and daughters Jasmine and Isabella Bryant both of Manchester. Surviving sister Carolyn Stevens and her husband Clinton reside in Beech Grove, Tennessee. Also surviving are nieces Vicki and Becky Mearse, great-niece Whilloh Saylor and great nephew Creole Davenport.
Visitation with family members will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home at 12 p.m. A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at Maplewood Cemetery in Tullahoma, Tennessee.
