7/9/17 — Hazel Ann Tuck

Hazel Ann Tuck age 74 of Estill Springs passed way Thursday July 6, 2017.
A native of Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late William and
Vinnie Walls Hill. She is also preceded in death by her husband James
“Buddy” Tuck, and eleven brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be 2:00PM Sunday July 9,2017 at Manchester Funeral
Home. Burial will follow in Hillsboro Presbyterian Cemetery with family and
friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the Tuck family will be
from 5:00PM until 9:00PM Saturday July 8, 2017 at Manchester Funeral Home.

Mrs. Tuck is survived by her son; James (Lisa) Tuck of Hillsboro,
daughters; Mary Tuck of Estill Springs, Joy (Tim) Ogle of Hillsboro, one
sister; Donna (Paul) Sims of Alabama, 4 grandchildren; Christy Faye Tuck,
Heather Suzanne Tuck, Lille Ann Ogle, Elizabeth Ogle, 6 step grandchildren
and 6 great-grandchildren.

7/10/17–Jo B McLean

Jo B McLean of Tullahoma passed this life on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at
Morning Pointe of Tullahoma at the age of 88 years. Memorial Services will
be scheduled at a later time.

Mrs. McLean was born on March 26, 1929, the daughter of the late Scott and
Willie Johnson Baxter. She was a member of Wesley Heights Methodist Church
and enjoyed sewing and cooking. She was a “Social Butterfly” and had many
wonderful friends. She loved animals, especially dogs, but she had a
special love for the mules her father used in his logging business when she
was a child. She also enjoyed riding motorcycles. Her favorite activity
was being a grandmother to her three grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,
Garnet F McLean, who died in 2016 and her sister and brother-in-law,
Scottie and Corky McMackin.

Mrs. McLean is survived by two sons, Garnet A McLean and his wife, Cynthia
of Oklahoma City, OK and Steve McLean and his wife, Barbara of Antioch, TN
and three grandchildren, Trina Cunningham of Nashville, Alice McLean of
Chicago and Scott McLean of Oklahoma City, OK.

7/8/17 — Patricia Anne Carawan Elmore Gocha

Patricia Anne Carawan Elmore Gocha of Tullahoma passed this life on
Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at her residence at the age of 80 years. Funeral
Services are scheduled for 11 AM on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Faith Baptist
Church, 8287 Tullahoma Highway, Estill Springs, TN 37330 with Bro. Randy
Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Crossroads Missionary Baptist
Church Cemetery in Camden, TN. Visitation with the family will be Friday,
July 7, 2017 from 5 – 8 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Gocha was born on May 7, 1937 in Mesic, NC, the daughter of the late
Sulton Ray and Mary Gray Jones Carawan. She was a member of the Faith
Baptist Church in Estill Springs, where she was the church vocalist. She
had lived in Tuscaloosa, AL, New Johnsonville, TN and Allen County, KY
prior to relocating to Tullahoma. She had worked as a beautician, model,
seamstress and dental assistant. She enjoyed singing and playing the piano
as well as cooking and painting. She was an excellent sewer and enjoyed
designing clothing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband,
E L Elmore; brother Mickey Carawan and sister, Sharon Carawan Guevera.

Mrs. Gocha is survived by her husband, Robert Gocha of Tullahoma; son, Ron
Elmore and his wife, Glenda of Cedar Hill, TN; daughters, Kathi Sanders of
Tuscaloosa, AL; Leanne Pszenitzki and her husband, John of Portland, TN and
Stephanie Richards and her husband, Clay of Scottsdale, AZ; stepsons,
Patrick Gocha and his wife, Stephanie of Los Angeles, CA, Kevin Gocha and
his wife, Lori of Lafayette, TN and Dave Kibec and his wife, Ann of
Portland, OR; stepdaughter, Yvonne Gocha of Davenport, IA; brother, Douglas
Carawan and is wife, Sammie of Aransas Pass, TX; sister-in-law, Frances
Carawan of Aransas Pass, TX; grandchildren, Ronda Elmore of Cedar Hill, TN,
Natalie Bass and her husband, Justin of Tuscaloosa, AL, Jared Sanders and
his fiancé, Hannah of Tuscaloosa, AL, John Pszenitzki III of Gallatin, TN
and Mark Pszenitzki of Portland, TN; great grandson, Marshall Bass and step
grandchildren, Olivia and Jason Gocha of Los Angeles, CA, Ashton and Bailey
Gocha of Lafayette, TN and Kristina, Rachel, Eric and Kyle Langkau of
Davenport, IA.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in her
honor to the Faith Baptist Church, 8287 Tullahoma Highway, Estill Springs,
TN 37330.

7/8/17–Debi Rogers

Debi Rogers of Manchester passed this life on Monday, July 3, 2017 at The
Residence at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro at the age of 61 years. Memorial
Services will be held Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 2 PM at the New Creation
Church, 1115 Bel-Aire Dr, Tullahoma, TN. 37388. Visitation with the family
will be prior to the service from 11 AM– 2 PM.

Mrs. Rogers, a native of Blue Island, IL was the daughter of the late
Michael Joseph and Emma Crumpley MacPherson. She was a member of the New
Creation Church in Tullahoma and enjoyed listening to country music. She
loved being a grandma, “Nonnie”, to her nine grandchildren and traveling
to
Indiana to see her family. Her favorite things were butterflies, animals,
Red Vine licorice and Mountain Dew.

Debi is survived by her husband, Gregory Rogers of Manchester; two sons,
Brian Fravel of Cedar Lake, IN and Ryan “Binky” Fravel and his wife,
Katelyn of Crown Point, IN; two daughters, Kari Lesko and her husband, Eric
of Huntland, TN and Kelli Mata and her husband, Armando of Whiting, IN;
ex-husband, Lloyd Fravel and his wife, Nancy and nine grandchildren, Naomi,
Adam, Emma, Cristian, Cameron, Hailie, Ella, Riley and Rihannon.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to her “adopted
daughter”, Tonya , Dana, Chasity, Dr Brewer and all the loving staff at
the
Bedford County Health Dept. ; good friend, Cynthia, a home health care
nurse and the TN Oncology Physicians and Staff. In addition, the family
would like to express “their sincere gratitude to The Residence at Alive
Hospice in Murfreesboro for caring for our mother as their own and being a
blessing in disguise”.

7/5/17—Nina Jeffreys McKay

Nina Jeffreys McKay of Tullahoma passed this life on Sunday, July 2nd,
2017 at The Life Care Center of Tullahoma at the age of 92. Mrs. McKay
was born in Sikeston, Missouri to the late James Earlie and Nell Lewis
Jeffreys. Nina moved to Tullahoma from Birmingham, AL in June of 1961
when her husband Sam was hired as a machinist at AEDC. During her life
she worked as the Cafeteria Manager of Bel- Aire Elementary School, and
was a 50+ year member of Highland Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing,
gardening, cooking, and University of Alabama football. In addition to
her parents, Mrs. McKay is preceded in death by her husband, Sam McKay,
and one brother, James Kenneth Jeffreys. She is survived by her daughter,
Linda Hawkersmith and her husband Steve of Tullahoma; son Don McKay and
his wife Marissa of Tullahoma; one sister, Carolyn Batha of Addison,
IL;  five grandchildren, Shannon Hamblin and her husband Billy of
Tullahoma, Ginger Ennis and her husband Jordan of Tullahoma, Jennifer
Warmington and her husband Pete of Birmingham, AL, Jeff Norris of
Nashville, and Sarah Norris of Nashville; and 5 great-grandchildren,
Jackson, Cody, Steven, Landon, and Ethen. Visitation for Mrs. McKay will
be held on Wednesday, July 5th from 11:00-1:00pm at Kilgore Funeral Home
with funeral services to immediately follow at 1:00pm with Revs. Don
Dixon and Jim Norman officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill
Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, the family asks that donations in
lieu of flowers be made in Nina’s memory to Highland Baptist Church, 808
W. Hickory St. Tullahoma, TN 37388.

7/5/17–Roger Eugene Winch

Roger Eugene Winch, of Winchester, passed this life on Sunday, July 2nd, 2017 at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville at the age of 77. Mr. Winch was born in Guthrie, Oklahoma to the late Charles and Dorothy Platt Winch. He was a graduate of Tullahoma High School where he played on the basketball team and went on to attend the University of Tennessee where he received his accounting degree. Mr. Winch also served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam. During his life worked as a CPA with Morris-Knudson and enjoyed square dancing, working puzzles, and reading. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Proffitt-Winch; one son, Randy Winch; one brother, John Luther Winch. Mr. Winch is survived by two children, Kevin Winch of Manchester, and Nicole Collins of Tullahoma; three sisters, Helen Elizabeth Rice, Donna Marie Edge, and Carol Irene Phillips; grandchildren, Vanessa Morris of Hillsboro, and Nikki, Victoria, and Rachael Mitchell all of Tullahoma; great-grandchildren, Christian Noah Knapper, Chloe Anabell Mitchell, Arabella Rosalie Morris, and Trystan Memphis Morris; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 5th, 2017 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 4:00-5:00pm.

Hurley D. Reese

Hurley D Reese of Manchester passed this life on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at
Tennova Healthcare – Harton at the age of 71 years. No services are
scheduled.

A native of Marion, NC, he was the son of the late Hurley Lester and Lizzie
Hight Reese. Mr. Reese’s favorite hobby was crocheting.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death one brother, Walter
Dale Reese and one sister, Emily Rose Jackson.

Mr. Reese is survived by one son, Lester Reese and his wife, Lisa of
Manchester and one sister, Doris Reese of Marion, NC.

6/6/17 —- Jesse Benjamin St. John

Funeral services for Mr. Jesse Benjamin St. John, age 89 of Manchester, will be conducted on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Brother Bruce Barger officiating.

Burial will follow in Blanton Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Coffee County Funeral Chapel.

Mr. St. John passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare Harton in Tullahoma.

 

Jesse was born in Illinois to the late Bennett and Vera St. John.

In previous years he enjoyed coon hunting, fishing, going to yard sales, gardening and farming. He also loved spending time at the Coffee County Senior Citizens Center.

He was a hard worker and loved being with his family.

 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Kathleen Norris St. John; daughter, Pamela Parris; sisters, Eathel Crouch, Mary Fults, Ora Tucker, Nora Haley. Survived by his children, Saundra Brown (Kyle), Benji St. John (Ashley); grandchildren, Chris Brown, Amanda Graf, George St. John, Destiny St. John, Seth Parris; great-grandson, Bryson Graf.

7/3/17 — Kymani Isiah D’Wayne Price

Kymani Isiah D’Wayne Price passed this life on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at
the age of 4 years. Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 3, 2017
at 2:30 PM at Maplewood Cemetery.

Kymani is survived by his mother, Amanda Price of Tullahoma; father, Paul
Fletcher of Coffee County; brothers, Dustin and Elijah Perry and Jaquize,
Demontae and Kalando Fletcher; sister, Adrianna Perry; grandparents, Tony
and Candie Gant of Tullahoma; great grandparents, Jimmy and Brenda Price of
Tullahoma; great grandmother, Joyce Gant of Shelbyville and uncles, Antonio
Price of Tullahoma and Gavin Brown of Tullahoma.

7/3/17 — Alene Rollins Martin

ALENE ROLLINS MARTIN, age 87, of Tullahoma, Tenn., departed this life on Saturday, July 1, 2017, at Gayle’s Elderly Care in Decherd, Tenn., following an extended illness. Mrs. Martin was born in Ardmore, Alabama to the late Edna Mae and Reed Rollins. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Rollins enjoyed working with crafts and could do almost anything. She also loved flowers and working with them in her craft projects. She is a member of Our Father’s House Church in Tullahoma.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by sons; Ronnie Kelley and William Master and daughter, Marlene Madden. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Martin of Tullahoma, Daughter, Donna Mahaffey of Winchester, sons; Jerry Master of Cameron, West Virginia, and David Kelley of South Carolina, 3, step-Children, Tony Martin of Tullahoma Pam Martin of Nashville, Lynn Vassar of Bell Buckle, 16–grandchildren, 23–great-grandchildren, 6-step-grandchildren, 2-great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be held from 12:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Monday, July 3, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services. Services will follow at 2:00 P.M. Monday in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services with Bro. Jim Hawkins and Bro. Donnie Hawkins, officiating. Interment will follow in the Watson-North Memorial Park in Winchester.

The family would like to express a special thanks to Gayle Kochans, for the wonderful care given to their loved one during her stay at Gayle’s Elderly Care in Decherd.
