Tyrone J. Honea

Tyrone J Honea of Tullahoma passed this life on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at
the age of 60 years. Memorial Services will be scheduled at a later date.

Mr. Honea, the son of the late Henry Clay and Edna Berryhill Honea, was
born on June 17, 1957 in Lincoln County. He attended the First Church of
Jesus Christ in Tullahoma. He enjoyed being outdoors, camping and going
out on the boat.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers,
James, Horace, Jimmy, and Alton Honea and one sister, Martha Ann Parker.

Mr. Honea is survived by one daughter, Angela Luna and her husband, Josh of
Lynchburg; one sister, Delores Stephens of Tullahoma and three
grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made to
Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.

7/17/17 — Jack Wiley McKinney

Jack Wiley McKinney of Tullahoma passed this life on Friday, July 14,
2017 at his home, surrounded by his family at the age of 82 after a long
battle with cancer and Alzheimer’s. Mr. McKinney was born in Tullahoma to
the late Thurman (Jack) and Bonnie Amos McKinney. During his life Mr.
McKinney proudly served his country for 4 years in the United States Air
Force as a military police officer. He later went on to work as a
firefighter at AEDC where he was a driver for 35 years. He was an avid
woodworker and toy maker, and loved working in his garden, and reading.
Jack was also an artist and a poet, and was an active member of Grace
Baptist Church where he served as both a deacon and Sunday school
teacher. Mr. McKinney is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Janet
McKinney; three children, John McKinney of Tullahoma, Dana Hardin and her
husband Jerry of Tullahoma, and Cyndee Day and her husband Wendell of
Jacksonville, AL; four grandchildren, Jana Hardin Brazier, Brian Day,
Danielle Hardin Creasy, and Monica Day Skinner; eight great
grandchildren, Kacey, Kylee, Abby, Madison, Jackson, Charlotte, Samuel,
and Olivia; and two brothers, Glen McKinney and his wife Ann, and Lonnie
McKinney and his wife Alice all of Tullahoma. Visitation for Mr. McKinney
will be held on Monday, July 17th from 11:00am-1:00pm at Grace Baptist
Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00pm at Grace
Baptist with Bro. Tim McGehee officiating. Burial will follow at Bethany
Cemetery in Coffee Co. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations
be made in Jack’s memory to either the Grace Baptist Church Building
Fund: 1901 Ovoca Rd. Tullahoma, TN 37388; or Avalon Hospice, 1802 N.
Jackson St. #900 Tullahoma, TN 37388.

7/17/17 — Arlene Shirley Wilson

Arlene Shirley Wilson, passed away at home with her loving husband at her
side on July 10, 2017. Arlene was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 3,
1940 to her parents, the late Stanley V. Ockerlund and the late Geraldine
Garrity Ockerlund.
Before retirement, Arlene was Department Manager of Bankers Life and
Casualty. After retiring, she enjoyed puzzles, fishing, gardening,
playing card games, and Dancing with the Stars!
She was married and survived by Charles B. Wilson, her loving and devoted
husband of 62 years of Manchester, TN, three children; David E. Wilson
and wife Peggy of Palatine, IL, Robert A. Wilson and wife Mary of
Palatine, IL, and Larry E. Wilson and wife Kim of Chicago, IL, five
grandchildren; Kyle Wilson of Chicago, Il, Ryan Wilson of Palatine, IL,
Todd Wilson of Chicago, IL, Danny Wilson of Palatine, IL, and Crystal
Wilson of Palatine, IL, and Sister-In-Law; Virginia Parker of Tullahoma,
TN, Brother-In-Law; Houston Wilson of Manchester, TN, and Ronnie J.
Wilson of Texas, and several nephews, nieces, and friends.

7/15/17 — Doyle Ganaway West

Funeral services for Mr. Doyle Ganaway West, age 57 of Bell Buckle, will be conducted on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Manchester Funeral Home with Brother Tommy Dye officiating. Burial will follow in Hoo Doo Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 14, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Manchester Funeral Home. Mr. West passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Skyline Medical Center.

Doyle was born on September 12, 1959 in McMinnville, TN. He enjoyed gardening, game chickens and fishing. He also had a love for motorcycles. Preceded in death by his father, Aubrey West and his brother, Larry West. Survived by his mother, Berlene West; his companion, Connie West; sons, DJ West and Matthew West; daughter, Amanda West; sister, Brenda Pinkston (Tommy), Dawn Pilkington (Rudy), Edna Davis (Tony), Audrey Reed (David), Joyce West; grandson, Dakota West; sister-in-law, Jane West.

7/16/17 — Jessie Mae Hankins

Jessie Mae Hankins , of Lynchburg, passed this life on Monday, July 10th, 2017 at NHC in Tullahoma at the age of 82. Mrs. Jessie was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late Morris and Doris Penley. She was a graduate of Kirkman High School. From that time forward, Mrs. Jessie built a reputation and lifestyle as a solid servant on many levels of her full life. She worked as a book keeper for Walter A. Woods Supply Co. in Chattanooga until she and her late husband, Fred A. Hankins Sr.’s journey of life lead them to the Middle Tennessee area. While raising 7 sons, she was employed by Century 21 reality for several years. She was then happily employed at Harton Regional Medical Center’s Dietary Department. She became well known for ensuring the Doctors and Nurses were well fed during meal times along with any patronage. She loved to cook both at work and home. Every Christmas, Jessie would spend the better part of the month before Christmas baking cookies, cakes, breads and pies for family and friends She also sold Avon and Tupperware for many years. Mrs. Jessie was a faithful member of New Life Baptist Church under the leading of Pastor John Hill where she put her love of cooking into the ministry. Everyone knew she would always be that last to leave the kitchen after each and every fellowship to ensure everything was completely clean and in order. Perhaps the greatest task she faced was keeping up her household of 7 ruthless sons and one hunting loving husband. At home, her kitchen was never closed. She was either cooking for the daily meals, tomorrows meals, the neighbor’s birthday, a church event or testing out a new recipe. Cooking was her love second only to her husband Fred to whom she was married for over 61 years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Craft and husband Bobby; brother, Allen Penley; brother-in-law, John Trago; nephew, John Jr. Trago; and great-granddaughter, Molly Mae Hankins. She is survived by seven sons, Fred Hankins Jr. (Laura) of Estill Springs, daughter-in-law, Margie Hankins of Tullahoma, James D. Hankins (Charlotte) of Moore County, Vaughn Hankins (Rebecca) of Lynchburg, Robert Hankins (Dawn) of Tullahoma, Doug Hankins (Kalene) of Tracy City, Tommy Hankins (Kim) of Tullahoma, Benny Hankins (Jessica) of Lynchburg; 24 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia Trago of Michigan and Doris Lynn Whitmire of Chattanooga; and one brother, Tommy Penley of Chattanooga. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 16th, 2017 at 2:30pm at New Life Baptist Church, 5822 Cobb Hollow Road, Tullahoma, Tennessee with Pastor John Hill officiating.

Mark J. Ruskin

Mark J Ruskin of Tullahoma passed this life on Monday, July 10, 2017 at his
residence at the age of 62 years. No services are scheduled.

Mr. Ruskin was born on September 28, 1954 in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of
the late Joseph John and Wilberta Levine Ruskin. He was a U S Air Force
veteran, serving during the Viet Nam war. Mr. Ruskin was employed by the
State of Tennessee as a Computer Data Programmer. He enjoyed woodworking,
fishing, target shooting and watching military movies and shows.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Ruskin of Tullahoma; one son, Joey Ruskin
of Estill Springs; one daughter, April Ruskin of Parker City, Utah and one
brother, Jerry Ruskin of Silver Springs, FL.

7/12/17 — Shirley Mae Cornelison Jones

Shirley Mae Cornelison Jones, age 76, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017,
surrounded by her loving family.
She was the definition of unconditional love and a model Christian. She
was a founding member of the New Life Church of Manchester.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie & Lillie
Cornelison; husband, Robert Lee (R.L.) Jones; and son, Frank Jones.
She is survived by her daughters: Lawana (Alan) Bean of Elizabethton;
Sharon (Ed) Binkley of Manchester; sons: Jessie (Linda) Jones of
Murfreesboro; Fred (Pamela) Jones of Manchester; Grandchildren: Sarah
(James) Singleton, Mandy (Jamie) Fuller, Jessica Johnson, Kate Bean,
Ethan & Lincoln Jones, Scott (Jennifer) Dow, Cassidy Dow, Matthew

7/12/17 — Tomye Mae Sherrill

Tomye Mae Sherrill age 91 of Brentwood, passed away Saturday July 8, 2017.
A native of Pelham, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Willie Mae
Willis Henson. She is also preceded in death by her husband Andrew
Sherrill, Jr., a daughter, Renia Sherrill, and two brothers: John Riley
Henson and Charles Willis Henson.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Wednesday at Manchester Funeral Home with
Reverend Joe Rutherford officiating. Burial will follow in Red Hill
Cemetery with grandsons and nephews serving as pall bearers. Visitation
with the Sherrill family will be 1:00PM until time of service Wednesday at
Manchester Funeral Home.

Mrs. Sherrill is survived by her daughter, Linda Kacmarcik of Norman,
Oklahoma; son, Charles Sherrill of Brentwood, Tennessee; sisters Ann Oakley
of Donelson, Tennessee and Sandra DeGalleford of Roswell, Georgia; 4
grandchildren, Cameron (Valerie) Kacmarcik, Andrew Sherrill, Peter
Sherrill, Benjamin Sherrill; and two great-grandchildren Xander and Zachary
Kacmarcik. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Bettie Long and Jan
Pickens, and many loving nieces, nephews and caregivers.

Mrs. Sherrill was a member of Winchester Methodist Church. She was a 1945
graduate of Manchester High School. She and her husband lived for many
years in Cleveland, Ohio, and retired to Estill Springs before moving to
Brentwood ten years ago.

7/13/17 — Robert Caldwell Jernigan

Robert Caldwell Jernigan, of Tullahoma, passed this life on
Saturday, July 8th, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare-Harton at the age of 86.
Mr. Jernigan was born in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Roy and Nettie
McClaran Jernigan. During his life he worked for Bell South in many
capacities and retired  as an Electronic Technician and was also a
member of the Telephone Pioneers. In addition to his parents, Mr.
Jernigan was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Catherine Couser; and
one brother, Rawlin C. Jernigan. He is survived by three daughters, Joy
Florio and her husband Mike of Oak Hill, Virginia, Lori Jernigan of
Tullahoma, and Marty Gonzales and her husband Bill of Tullahoma; two
sons, Michael Jernigan and his wife Susan of Tullahoma, and Jody Jernigan
of Tullahoma; one sister, Delores Reep of Winchester; his long-time
girlfriend and companion, Colette Thompson of Tullahoma; 11
grandchildren, Vita, Nicole, Joshua, Bryson, Monica, Alex, Kelly, Tracey,
Joses, Jennifer, and Julia; and five great grandchildren, Jake, Owen,
Katie, Ella Grace, and Tommy. Visitation for Mr. Jernigan will be held on
Wednesday, July 12th, 2017 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00pm. A
graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 13th, 2017 at 11:00am at
Cothran Cemetery in Rover, Tennessee.

7/9/17 — Robert Wendell Trussell

Robert Wendell Trussell, age 45, passed away Thursday, July 6, at his
residence with his friends and family at his side. Robert was born
December 31, 1971, in Manchester, to his parents, the late George Wendell
Trussell and Wanda Puckett Trussell. Robert is preceded in death by his
father; George Wendell Trussell, a sister; Connie Sue Trussell Brown,
Grandparents; Ernest Lee Trussell, Mary Florence Payne Trussell, James
Puckett, and Lois Puckett Garrick.
Robert was a Godly man and one of his greatest joys was spreading the
Love of Christ. He enjoyed volleyball, fishing, hunting, and most of all
spending time with his family. He will be missed by all who knew and
loved him.
Robert is survived by his loving and devoted wife Jessica Trussell, his
mother; Wanda Puckett Trussell, children; Tanner Trussell, Jacob
Trussell, Step-children; Kennedi Walz, and Isaac Walz, special friends;
Jason Huskey, Bobby Argraves, Devon Parker, and many more.
