9/8/17 — Shirley Juanita Horn

Horn, Shirley Juanita, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Sunday,
September 3rd, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare-Harton at the age of 89. Mrs.
Horn was born in Elmhurst, Illinois to the late Eric Warren and Shirley
Osborn Frederic. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by
her husband, Albin O. Horn; and one grandchild, Jesse. Mrs. Horn is
survived two daughters, Stephanie Mikl and her husband Jim of
Gainesville, Florida and Rachel Nolan and her husband Brad of Tullahoma;
two sons, Mark Horn and his wife Anetta of Madison, Wisconsin and Jon
Horn and his wife Patricia of Waterford, Wisconsin; one sister, Gloria
Markel and her husband Don of Sherman, Texas; five grandchildren, Sarah,
Elizabeth, Chris, Abby, and Stephanie; and four great-grandchildren,
Riley, Serena, Jameson, and Mari. Visitation for Mrs. Horn will be held
on Friday, September 8th, 2017 at Kilgore Funeral Home from
11:00am-1:00pm with funeral services to immediately follow at 1:00pm
with  Bro. Benny Benjamin officiating. Burial will follow at Rose
Hill Memorial Gardens.

9/7/17 — William Clark Hale, Jr.

William Clark Hale Jr of Tullahoma, passed this life on Sunday, September
3, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare – Harton at the age of 97 years. Funeral
Services will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 2 PM at
Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with burial to follow at Smith’s Chapel
Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 1 – 2 PM.

A native of Flat Creek, TN, he was the son of the late W C Hale Sr and the
late Auda Fay Hix Hale. He was a graduate of Tullahoma High School and
served in the U S Army during WW II. He was a Tank Driver and served in
North Africa and Italy where he earned the Bronze Star Medal, the European
African Middle Eastern Service Medal with four Bronze Stars, the American
Defense Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. Mr. Hale was a member of Lincoln
Heights Baptist Church and enjoyed reading and singing Gospel music.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nell
Davis Hale and one brother, Dennis P Hale.

Mr. Hale is survived by one son, Larry Randall Hale; one sister, Betty
Price and her husband, Billy of Tullahoma; nephews, Mark Price and his
wife, Alexis of Norcross, GA and Richard Wood of Columbus, GA; nieces,
Kerri Price of Tullahoma and Linda Prince of Columbus, GA and special
friend, Wanda Reed of Tullahoma.

In lieu of flowers the family has suggested donations be made in his honor
to the Lincoln Heights Baptist Church, 1605 E Lincoln St, Tullahoma, TN
37388

Charles E. Clanton

Charles E. “Charlie” Clanton of Normandy, passed away Friday, September
1,
2017 at Tennova Healthcare-Shelbyville at the age of 53 years. Memorial
Services will be scheduled at a later time.

A native of Union City, TN, he was the son of the late Finnis and Viola
Jones Clanton. He was a carpenter and employed by CS Services. He enjoyed
woodworking, fishing and playing the guitar.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers,
Fletcher and Elmer Thomas Wiggington.

Mr. Clanton is survived by his wife, Deanna Caldwell of Normandy; step
sons, Brent Caldwell and his fiancé, Tara of Martin, TN and Peyton Caldwell
of Dresden, TN; step daughters, Alanna Caldwell and her fiancé, Dominique
of Dresden, TN and Christina Wright of Nephi, Utah; brothers, Finnis
Clanton Jr of Byhalia, MS and James Willard Clanton of New Concord, KY;
sisters, Sue McCaig and husband, Jimmy of New Concord, KY and Patricia Ann
Alexander of Oregon and one step grandchild, Kaden Wright.

9/5/17 — Claudie Lee Crowell

Claudie Lee Crowell of Tullahoma passed this life on Friday, September 1,
2017 at Manchester Healthcare at the age of 69 years. Funeral services are
scheduled for Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 2 PM at Daves-Culbertson
Funeral Home with burial to follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation with
the family will be from 1 – 2 PM on Tuesday.

Mr. Crowell was the son of the late A D and Flossie Mae Baker Crowell. He
enjoyed fishing and doing crafts.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, Carolyn
Renee Crowell and brother, A D Crowell Jr.

Mr. Crowell is survived by three brothers, James Crowell and his wife,
Patsy of Lynchburg, Jerry Crowell and his wife, Kay of Tullahoma and Danny
Crowell and his wife, Kathy of Eagleville and one grandchild, Raine Sisk.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made in his honor
to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

9/3/17 — Ronnie Howard Wiser

Ronnie Howard Wiser, age 69, passed away Monday, August 28 at a vacation
spot in Wyoming. Ronnie was born May 4, 1948, in Manchester to his
parents, the late John Velesco Wiser and Minnie Leona Smith Wiser. Ronnie
is preceded in death by brothers; Bill Wiser, Horace Wiser and Stanley
Wiser.
Ronnie cherished God and family. His greatest joys were admiring the
creations of God and sharing his endless love with his family. He was a
member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ. He enjoyed tractor pulls,
riding horses and spending time with the little ones in the family.
Ronnie took pride in whatever he made and it was done right the first
time. He was a master crane operator for 47 years and still going because
he loved every minute of it.
Ronnie is survived by his loving and devoted wife, of 46 years, Deborah
A. Perry Wiser of Hillsboro, his sisters; Nellie Bowen, Mary Reed and
Kathy Hayes, his brother Eddie W. Wiser. He was also blessed to have many
nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great great nephews.

9/4/17 — Danny “Tucker” Lee Winn

Danny “Tucker” Lee Winn of Tullahoma passed this life on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Signature Healthcare in Monteagle at the age of 60 years. Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, September 4, 2017 at 11 AM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be Monday, September 4, 2017 from 10 AM until the service.
Mr. Winn, a native of Kentucky, was the son of the late Butch Thomas and Thelma Lucille Winn. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Ricky Winn.
Mr. Winn is survived by his wife, Pamela Gail Winn of Tullahoma; three sons, Michael Wayne Nelson and his fiancé’ Debbie Blanton of Winchester, Billy Nelson of Tullahoma and Daniel T Nelson and his wife, Lori of Alabama; one daughter, Danielle Winn of Nashville; two brothers, Jerry and Johnny Winn of Kentucky; three sisters, Leona, Debbie and Cookie Winn of Kentucky; four grandchildren, Carolyn Barton of Indianapolis, Katie Joe and Thomas Winn, both of Tullahoma and Aubrey Joe Betts of Alabama and two great grandchildren.

9/5/17 — Larry Q. Glover

Larry Q Glover of Cowan, passed this life on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at
his residence at the age of 65 years. Funeral services are scheduled for
Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 1 PM at Mt Sinai Missionary Baptist Church,
132 Walnut Street, Cowan, TN 37318 with Bro John W Patton Jr officiating.
Burial will follow at Thorogood Cemetery. Visitation with the family will
be Tuesday, from 12 PM until the service time.

A native of Detroit, MI, he was the son of the late James Glover and Mable
Blakely Glover Coats of Detroit. He was a member of Mt Sinai Missionary
Baptist Church and enjoyed singing in the church choir. He loved people and
enjoyed talking to everyone. His hobbies included fishing and grilling out.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by four brothers, James
Howard Glover, Thomas Clinton Glover, Dwight Lionel Glover and Kenneth
Coats and god father, Joseph Blakely Sr.

Mr. Glover is survived by his mother, Mable Glover Coats of Detroit, MI;
wife, Yvonne Williams Glover of Cowan; daughter, Olivia Q Wheeler and her
husband, Lawrence of Detroit; brothers, Alfred Lee Glover and his wife,
Delnice of Detroit, George Glover and his wife, Eleanor of Detroit, Raymond
Ernest Coats of Detroit, Robert Earl Coats and his wife, April of Detroit
and Joseph Blakely Jr of Nashville; sisters, Jacqueline Glover of Detroit,
Tonya Degraffenreid and her husband, Issac of Detroit and Angela Blakely of
Nashville and one grandchild, Shayauna Glover of Detroit.

9/2/17–Brady E. “Skipper” Jones

Brady E. “Skipper” Jones, passed away August 23, 2017, with his family at his side after a valiant battle with cancer. Brady, known as “Skipper” was born May 23, 1956, in Lufkin, Texas, to his parents, the late Palmer Wallace Jones and Martha Evelyn Lewis Jones. He graduated high school in 1974 and shortly thereafter joined the Air Force and completed technical training in Electronics. His career took him into the field of Electrical Engineering, where he spent nearly 40 years building power plants internationally. He attended and served at World Outreach Church. He was a lover of music, and enjoyed the water and fishing (fresh or salt). He loved Jesus, his family, and football. Mr. Jones is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Tammy J. Jones of Wartrace, TN, a son, Brady Alan Jones and his wife Amy Melynda, of Murfreesboro, a daughter, Crystal Nicole Jones and her future husband, Dusty Hutchins of Murfreesboro, one grandchild, Brady Palmer Jones, a sister, Sandra Elene Waller, two nephews, Joshua David Waller, and Jacob Abram Henson, two nieces, Jade Nicole Henson and Jennifer Kaitlyn Waller, as well as 8 great nieces and nephews, and he loved them all. He was known as “Uncle Skipper.”

9/1/17–Peggy Ann Brown

Peggy Ann Brown

Peggy was born in Manchester, TN, the daughter of the late Louis and Beulah
Perry. She was an LPN and enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was also preceded in death by her
brother, Walter Perry. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Gipson; son,
Jonathan Brown; one sister, Tresa Perry; five grandchildren, Larry (Shelly)
Gipson, Krystal (Brad) Christian, Kayla (Justin) Kanjanabout, Kaitlyn
Gipson, and Katie Brown; 3 great-grandchildren, Brady Christian, Brock
Christian, and Easton Gipson; and one great-grandchild on the way.

9/2/17–Frances Watts McDonald

Mrs. Frances Watts McDonald, age 87, of Manchester, died Tuesday evening, August 29, at her home.  She is survived by: children, Billy Watts and wife Margaret of South Carthage, Bobby Watts and wife Belinda of Carthage, Ronnie Watts and wife Mary of Manchester;18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. McDonald is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where her service will be conducted on Saturday afternoon, September 2, at 1:00 PM.  Bro. Jimmy Gregory and Bro. Earl Cairns will officiate.  Interment in the Ridgewood Cemetery in Carthage.  Serving as pallbearers are: Jamie Roland, Kenneth Watts, Kevin Watts, Alan Woods, Matthew Ferrell and Keith Watts.
Visitation will begin on Friday afternoon from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.
