10/4/17 — Brenda Gail Castleman

Brenda Gail Castleman of Tullahoma passed this life on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at St. Thomas West in Nashville at the age of 61 years. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 1 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with burial to follow at Union Grove Cemetery
in Franklin County. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from 5-8 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home
Brenda was the daughter of the late William Jackson Bailey and Mattie Bell Ray Bailey of Tullahoma. She enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with her granddaughter, Alyssa. She loved being outdoors and working on her suntan. She was an also an avid TN Vols and Titans fan and enjoyed watching their football games on TV.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Johnny, Riley and Roger Dale Bailey.
Brenda is survived by her mother, Mattie Bell Bailey of Tullahoma; sons, Willie and Christopher Thomas Castleman, both of Tullahoma; brothers, Keith Bailey of Lynchburg and Jimbo Bailey of Tullahoma; sisters, Ruth Limbough and her husband, Craig of Tullahoma, Sandra Cyree and Penny Bailey, both of Tullahoma and Katina Bailey of Lynchburg; granddaughter, Alyssa Castleman; best friend, Teressa Kimbrell of Tullahoma and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made in her honor to Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.

10/5/17 — Jack Arnold Fogus, Jr.

On Saturday September 30th, 2017, Jack Arnold Fogus Jr., age 52 of
Manchester, entered into rest at his home with his loving wife by his
side. He was a loving man who never met a stranger he could carry on a
conversation about anything with anyone. Jack loved the outdoors always
hunting, fishing and taking horseback rides with his family. He was also
a baseball fan cheering on his favorite team the Chicago White Sox but
nothing was more important than his family and especially his grand
babies. Jack is preceded in death by his parents Jack A. Fogus Sr. and
Brenda Fogus.
He is survived by and will be greatly missed by his wife Debra Fogus;
daughter Kristy Fogus and husband Marc; son Travis Fogus and wife Amber;
stepson Jeremy Walden; grandchildren Colin, Ethan, Alexander, Julian,
Mia, Madalyn, Kayden, Wyatt and Claire; brother Aaron Fogus and wife
Linda; sister Lisa Menke and husband Rick; Several nieces, nephews,
aunts, uncles and many close friends.

Funeral service for Jack will be conducted Thursday October 5th, 2017 at
Two O’clock at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Dr. Brenton Cox
Officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday October 4th,
2017 from five O’clock until eight O’clock at Coffee County Funeral
Chapel. Burial will be held at Hopewell Cemetery in Coffee County, TN
following the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to either the American Heart
Association or the American Diabetes Association in Jack’s memory.

10/4/17 — Ralph Dale Sain

Funeral services for Mr. Ralph Dale Sain, age 90, of Morrison, TN, will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Bro. Barry Phelps officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at the funeral home. Dale passed away on Friday, September 29, 2017 at the VA Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN.

Dale was born in Cannon County, TN, the son of the late Polk and Pearl Gentry Sain. He served his country during World War II in the United States Army. He was self-employed as a brick and block mason. Dale was a member of Goosepond Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, traveling locally, buying “stuff” at auctions, gardening, especially watermelons, and spoiling his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Dale was also preceded in death by one brother, Roy Sain. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Ruth Trail Sain; two sons, Charles (Susan) Sain and Mervin (Linda) Sain; one daughter, Carolyn (Terry) Haddock; sister-in-law, Leola Sain; grandchildren, Robert (Amy) Sain, Leann (Jeff) Haddock, Valerie Haddock, Amy Brassfield, Jamie (Michaela) Sain, and Heath (Megan) Sain; and great grandchildren, Ethan Haddock, Beyonce Brassfield, Keira Booker, Kendra Booker, Emma Cordell, Laura Cordell, Mordecai Haddock, Delaney Sain, Kendall Sain, and Addison Sain.

The family requests memorial donations be made to Shady Grove Cemetery Fund, 779 Deberry Road, Morrison, TN 37357.

Rosemarie Lene Mearse

Rosemarie Lene Mearse of Tullahoma, passed this life on Friday, September
29, 2017 at the age of 79 years. No services are scheduled. Mrs. Mearse
will be buried at the Chattanooga National Cemetery at a later date.

A native of Germany, she was the daughter of the late Hans and Gertrude
Ulman Juan. She operated a ceramic shop in Tullahoma and enjoyed making
dolls. She also loved children and would babysit in her home.

10/2/17 — Anna Lee Little

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Lee Little, age 86, of Manchester, TN,
will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 2, 2017 at Coffee County
Funeral Chapel with Bro. Benny Benjamin officiating. Burial will follow
in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be 12:00
PM until time of services on Monday at the funeral home. Anna passed
away on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Centennial Medical Center in
Nashville, TN.

Anna was born in Pike County, KY, the daughter of the late Freeman and
Minnie Anderson Goode. She was an assembler for Motorola, was active in
church in Florida, loved to cook, and loved and cared for her pets.

In addition to her parents, Anna was also preceded in death by three
brothers, Paul, Gene, and Jerry Goode; and two sisters, Alice Phillips
and Charlene Rockfield. She is survived by her husband of 72 years,
Everett Little; three sons, Larry Little, Kenny and wife, Carolyn Little
and Mike Little; daughter-in-law, Sandi Jones; one brother, Gary Goode;
grandchildren, Kenny, John, Darren, Shannon, Kaleigh and Anthony; great
grandchildren, Bailee, Everett, Jayden, Carter, and Audrey; and numerous
nieces and nephews.

The family requests memorial donations be made to American Heart
Association or American Kidney Foundation.

James L. Gault

James L Gault, formerly of Lynchburg, passed this life on Friday, September
29, 2017 at the age of 80 years. No services are scheduled.

A native of Madison County, AL, he was the son of the late Buford and Pearl
Calloway Gault. He was a U S Navy veteran and worked as a machinist. He
was a people person and liked to cut up and tell jokes. He was a loving
father and grandfather. He enjoyed fishing and especially loved his pet
dog, Penny.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nadine
Gault; son, Robert Gault; daughters, Anita Gault Fuller and Lisa Gault
Marcel; brother, Bud Gault and sisters, Jessie Pearl Gault Connors and Jean
Gault O-Rear.

He is survived by two sons, Patrick Gault of Arizona and Ricky Gault of
Florida; two daughters, June Gault Maldonado of Huntsville and Renee Gault
Salvidor of Illinois; sister, Susie Gault Calloway of Athens, AL and many
grandchildren and great grandchildren.

9/29/17 —- Richard Sanders

Mr. Richard Leon Sanders passed away at Tennova-Harton Medical Center on
September 27, 2017 at the age of 64.

He was born on December 27, 1952 in Manchester, Tennessee to the late Leroy
and Peggy Davis Sanders. He was also preceded in death by his brother,
Steve Sanders and three daughters.

A retired maintenance technician, he loved music and making everyone around
him share in a good laugh.

Mr. Sanders is survived by his wife Renee Sanders of Tullahoma, Tennessee
along with sons Tony Sanders of Tullahoma, Terry Sanders and his wife
Rachel of Tullahoma and Casey Sanders also of Tullahoma, Tennessee.

Surviving daughters are Raven Sanders of Tullahoma and Alicia Sanders
Jackson and her son Phillip Lemmon of Tullahoma.

Surviving are his brothers, Michael Sanders of Tullahoma and Joey Sanders
of Tullahoma and sister Debra Richards and her husband Doug also of
Tullahoma, Tennessee.

Visitation with family members will begin at 2 p.m. on Friday, September
29, 2017 at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at
4 p.m. in the funeral home’s chapel. Chad Conn will officiate.

9/30/17–Lynda Sue Brock

Lynda Sue Brock age 71, passed away September 27, 2017, at the Raintree
Manor in McMinnville. Ms. Brock was born July 18, 1946, in Sparta, TN, to
her parents, the late Johnnie Morgan Sparkman and Mary Lee Cass Sparkman.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, James L. Brock.

Ms. Brock was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. Before retirement,
Ms. Brock was manager of the Dairy Queen in Manchester. She enjoyed baking,
cooking, and spoiling her grandkids. She was known to be a giver at heart.
Ms. Brock loved to bake cakes and pies for everyone and loved to send
birthday cards.

She is survived by James L. Brock Jr. and his wife Debbie of Manchester, Sue
Ann Anderson and her husband Steve of Manchester, and Johnny W. Brock of
Manchester, and Darlene Long and her husband Stacy of Manchester, nine
grandchildren; Casey Brock, Trent Anderson, Janette King, Brian Anderson,
Kayla Ervin, Sarah Anderson, Danielle Long, Hannah Brock, and Miley Long,
two great-grandchildren; Julianne Brock and Torrey Anderson, a brother;
Johnnie Lee Sparkman and his wife Judy of McMinnville, niece; Vickie Sweet
and her husband Steve, and a nephew, John Sparkman and wife Kristy.

9/29/17 — Jeremy Ross Shelton

Funeral services for Jeremy Ross Shelton, age 39, of Decherd, TN, will be
conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Coffee County
Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in the Manchester City Cemetery.
Visitation with the Shelton family will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on
Friday, September 29, 2017 at the funeral home. Jeremy passed away on
Monday, September 25, 2017.

Jeremy was born in Tullahoma, TN, the son of the late Jerry Ross and
Marietta Rayburn Shelton. He was an electrician for C & H Commercial
Contractors in Manchester, TN. Jeremy enjoyed watching sports on TV and
attending his grandchildren’s ballgames. He loved watching movies,
spending time with his family and his cat, Bunny, and going to the beach.
Jeremy found happiness in helping others.

Jeremy is survived by his fiancé, Tina Kirk; one daughter, Maddesyn
Mackenzie Shelton; step-children, Steven (Valerie) Kirk and Hillary Kirk;
two grandchildren, Ryan and Logan Kirk; one sister, Tammy (Rick) Bartell;
niece, Meagan (Ben) Carr; nephew, Austin Bartell; several aunts, uncles,
and cousins; and several other nieces and nephews.

10/2/17 — Arizona “Toni” Durham

Durham, Arizona B. “Toni”, of Tullahoma, passed this life on
Wednesday, September 27th, 2017 at her home at the age of 85. Mrs. Durham
was born in Moore County to the late Morris N. and  Lodar Golden
Branch. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her
husband, Murphy “Corkey” Durham; five brothers, J D, Ernest, Herman,
Robert, and Houston Branch; two sisters, Hazel Davis and Elsie McAdams;
and one great-grandson, Kyler Barber. Mrs. Durham is survived by her
sister, Helen Bell; two sons, Ashley Dale Durham and his wife Mary Frank
of Springfield, and Michael G. Durham and his wife Patricia of Tullahoma;
one daughter, Gena Brasier and her husband Steve of Tullahoma; six
grandchildren, Christopher Williams, Chase Williams, Brandi Barber,
Murphy Durham, Paul Brasier, and Bridgette Tinsley; and eight
great-grandchildren, Jet Williams, Max Howard, Kaelyn Barber, Brynlee
Barber, Addilyn Barber, Evan Tinsley, Bryson Tinsley, and Addie Brasier.
Visitation for Mrs. Durham will be held on Sunday, October 1st, 2017 at
Kilgore Funeral Home from 2:00-5:00pm. A graveside service will be held
on Monday, October 2nd, 2017 at 10:00am at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
