Tina Lynn Coots of Shelbyville passed this life on Wednesday, February 9,
2022 at her residence at the age of 61.  Graveside services will be held on
Friday, February 11, 2022 at 2 PM at Mt. Herman Cemetery.

A native of Santa Monica, CA, she was the daughter of the late William
Harry Wells and Kathryn Bunten Wells, who survives.  Tina was a Certified
dietary manager and loved her work.  She also enjoyed playing bingo, going
to casinos and traveling with her husband.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by daughter, Monica
Smith; brothers, Joe, Mike and Tom Scroggs; sister, Patty Malue and
granddaughter, Arianna Smith.

She is survived by her mother, Kathryn Wells of Andalusia, AL; husband,
Dana Wells of Shelbyville, daughters, Tiffany Strickland of Tullahoma,
Cassandra McBride (Mason) of Chattanooga and Vivian Coots of Manchester;
brother, Mark Wells (Becky) of Henryville, IN; sisters, Theresa Gilmore
(Farrell) of Andalusia, AL and Vickie Nelson (Jerry) of Vevay, IN and
grandchildren, Alyssa Lynn Coots, Colton Strickland, Ayla E Coots, Kati
McBride, TJ McBride, Branson Strickland Rayden Strickland Brinley Smith,
Abbica Weddington and Olivia McBride.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations be made to

Funeral services for Ms. Norma Jean Baker, age 82 of Manchester, will be conducted on Friday, February 11, 2022, at 3 PM in the Manchester Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow in Shady Grove cemetery. Visitation with the family will begin at 12 Noon until time of service on Friday at the funeral home. Ms. Baker passed away on Monday, February 7 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville after an extended illness. 

Ms. Baker was born on December 24, 1939, in Oklahoma, to the late Charles and Kathryn Blaylock Harryman. She was a substitute teacher for the Coffee County High School for many years and enjoyed being around the students. Ms. Baker also enjoyed reading, shopping, and most of all watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren playing sports. 

In addition to her parents, Ms. Baker is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Baker, and brother, Tommy Harryman. She is survived by her son, Mark Baker, and daughter, Cindi Jernigan; grandchildren, Matt Baker, Brett Howell, Jessica Peacock, Chelsea Howell, and Colin Baker; great grandchildren, Riley and Sadie Howell, Addi Teal, Aubree and Grayson Rolling, Mack Peacock, Charlie and Tate Looper, and Devan Baker; siblings, Jimmy Harryman, Sharon Brown, and Margaret Bandy; brother and sisters-in-law, Meredith Baker, James Thomas Baker, and Betty (Alverne) Bancheek; several extended family members and a host of friends.

Hubert “Jerry” G McBee of Estill Springs passed this life on Tuesday,
February 8, 2022 at Vanderbilt-Tullahoma Harton Hospital at the age of 79.
No services are scheduled.

A native of Sewanee, he was the son of the late Hubert C and Avalene Brooks
McBee.  He was a U S Air Force veteran. Mr. McBee enjoyed buying and
selling knives, reading and watching Gunsmoke on TV.  He was an avid SEC
Football fan and loved his dogs and cats.

Mr. McBee is survived by his long-time partner, Peggy Blodgett of Estill
Springs; sons, Malcom McBee (Michelle) and Anthony McBee, both of Grautier,
MS; daughter, Amy Deering of Estill Springs; sisters, Winona Locke (Howard
“Buck”) of Columbia and JoAnn Coutta of Decherd and grandson, Eric McBee.

Mrs. Mattie Lee Turner Eaton, age 89, of Manchester, TN, passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022, at her home.

Mrs. Eaton was born on June 9, 1932, in Moore Co., TN. She was preceded in
death by parents, Hollis E. Turner and Mary Pickard Turner; husband of 68
years, Earl Eaton; sister, Ellen Turner Haskins.

Mrs. Eaton is survived by daughters, Deborah (Terry) Amacher and Melissa
(Jim) Cartwright; grandchildren, John (Joann) Cummins, James (Jamie)
Cartwright, Anna Marie (Jacob) Parnham; great grandchildren, Robert
Cummins, Sarah Beth and Emma Grace Cartwright; sister, Anna Turner Smith;
sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Annette (Dale) Smith.

She enjoyed her family and grandchildren very much. She was fun and
care-free, enjoyed people, and life in general. She was a certified
handwriting analyst. She was a member of Manchester First United Methodist
Church and was a Methodist since childhood. She and Earl were members of
the Johnson Hall Sunday School Class at Manchester First United Methodist
Church.

Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022,
from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, TN.
Visitation will also be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022, from 10:00am
until 11:00am. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, February 10,
2022, at 11:00am in the chapel of Central Funeral Home with Rev. Dana  Brooks
officiating. Entombment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in
Tullahoma, TN.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Manchester First
United Methodist Church Youth or Music funds.

Graveside services for Debra Kay Damron, age 70 of Manchester, will be
conducted on Thursday, February 10 at 2 PM at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
Debra passed away on Sunday, February 6 at her home.

Debra was born on January 31, 1952, in Manchester, to the late David
Clifton and Mary Elizabeth Vaughn Shelton. She worked for Carrier, Inc. in
Morrison, and she was of the Baptist faith. Debra enjoyed riding
motorcycles and being outdoors.

In addition to her parents, Debra is preceded in death by her husband,
Jeffery Ronald Damron, and sister, Dewanna Charlene Shelton. She is
survived by her daughter, Sonia Todd (Tony); grandchildren, Cody Gann
(Jessica), Jeremiah Johnson, and Shaylyun Todd; great grandchildren,
Dillion Gann, and James Gann IV; sisters, Treva Swift (Lewis), and Lisa
Shelton (Keith); several extended family members and a host of friends.

Maesue L. Tarrant of Tullahoma passed this life on Friday, February 4, 2022
at the Life Care Center of Tullahoma at the age of 64. A Celebration of
Life is scheduled for Sunday, February 13, 2022 from 1 – 2 PM at
Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.

A native of Tullahoma, Maesue was the daughter of the late John Wesley and
Willie Pauline Bonner Hendon.  She worked for many years for the Tennessee
Department of Transportation in the Construction office.  Maesue attended
the South Jackson Church of Christ and enjoyed reading, watching scary
movies and traveling. She loved her family dearly and was always there for
her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, James
Hendon and sister, JoAnn Simmons.

Maesue is survived by three daughters, Jaime Hendon of Estill Springs,
Deidra Tarrant of Nashville and Tia Tarrant of Tullahoma; brothers, John
Wesley Hendon Jr. (Ada) of Estill Springs and William Gene Hendon (Amy) of
Winchester; sister, Wanda Lee Johnson of Estill Springs; sister-in-law,
Linda Hendon of Estill Springs and five grandchildren, Urijah Lee, Athena
and Cadence Tarrant, Jaylee Love Porche and Jabari Tarrant.

Funeral services for Mr. Rice Estle Adams, Jr., age 66 of Manchester, will be conducted on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 10 AM in the Manchester Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow in Ragsdale Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, February 9, from 5-8 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Adams passed away at his home on Sunday, February 6, 2022. 

Rice was born on February 23, 1955, to the late Rice Estle Sr. and Willa Dean Vann Adams, in Manchester. He was a construction worker for McMahan Construction. Rice enjoyed fishing, woodworking, farming, and gardening. 

Rice is survived by his son, John Adams and his wife, Cyndal; daughter, Mary Beth Duckett and her husband, Andrew; grandchildren, Hayden and Adleigh Jenkins, and Fintan Rice Adams; special friends and caretakers, Abby & Marty Kellums and Wendy Overeem; and a host of friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Wanda Faye Simmons, age 77 of Manchester, will be conducted at 12:00PM on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Manchester Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until the time of services at the funeral home.  Mrs. Simmons passed suddenly from this life on Friday, February 4, 2022, at her residence in Manchester, TN. 

Faye was born in Hillsboro, TN on February 6, 1944, the daughter of the late Vernon and Juanita Winton.  Faye was a member of Forest Mill Church of Christ.  She was a devout Christian who loved reading scripture and listening to gospel music.  She taught Sunday School classes for many years and her faithfulness to God was apparent.  She enjoyed doing puzzles and reading, and she loved being with her family.  Faye gracefully took her husband, J.D.’s, sense of humor in stride throughout their 57 years of marriage.  They complimented each other nicely in their journey together.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. 

In addition to her parents, Faye is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, J.D. Simmons; son, Jeff Simmons; brother, James Winton.  She is survived by her granddaughters, Leslie Beaty (Will) and Emily Skinner (Eddie); great-grandchildren, Aria Beaty, Emmie Kate Skinner, Sophie Grace Skinner, and Baby Beaty; special cousin, Carolyn Hollingsworth who was more like a sister.

Connie Marie Woosley of Moore County passed this life on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family at the age of 72. Connie Marie was born in Nashville to the late William Douglas and Lois Sewell Hartman. She was a graduate of Franklin County High School. She then married Claude Woosley in 1968 and they had two children, a son and a daughter. After her two children were born, she attended Motlow State Community College and Middle Tennessee State University where she earned her teaching degree. Connie Marie taught at Bel-Aire Elementary School in Tullahoma, and later at Harris Middle School in Shelbyville. She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren, working in her garden, tending to her flowers, coaching girls Junior Pro basketball, and staying at her cabin in the mountains. She was a member of Owl Hollow Church of Christ in Franklin County, and the Tennessee Education Association. Mrs. Woosley is survived by her husband, Claude Benjamin Woosley; one son, Christopher Shane Woosley (Sonia); one daughter, Tiffany Marie Woosley (Chad Reed); one granddaughter, Breanna Woosley; two grandsons, Blake Woosley, and Evan Woosley-Reed; and three brothers, William Douglas Hartman, Jr, Randy Hartman, and Phillip Hartman. Visitation for Mrs. Woosley will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 5:00-8:00pm at Kilgore Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 11:00am in the Kilgore Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Byron Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Garden with Blake Woosley, Evan Woosley-Reed, Larry Ledford, Gary Ledford, Arturo Zarate, and Tim Hartman serving as pallbearers. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice Compassus and their caregivers; Rita Barbour, Angela Patterson, and Sherri Jacocks, who provided compassionate, excellent care for Connie. Mr. Frank Lee Parks, age 95, of Hillsboro, TN,
passed from this life on Saturday, February 5, 2022, in Winchester, TN.

Mr. Parks was born in Franklin Co., TN, to his late parents Horace and
Maggie Thomas Parks. He served our country during WWII with the United
States Army. Mr. Parks was a member of Hillsboro Masonic Lodge #382 of F&AM
and was chaplain for many years. He was a security guard with AEDC for 36
years until his retirement. Mr. Parks never met a stranger and loved his
fellow neighbors and his church family at Hillsboro United Methodist Church
where he was a member. He also always had something good to say about
everyone he met. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by
wives, Helen Parks and Joan Parks; brothers, Charles Parks, Grundy Parks,
and Wayne Parks; sister, Jewell Keele; brother-in-law, Dale Dotson.

Mr. Parks is survived by sons, Steve (Dianne) Parks and Randy (Jamie)
Parks; step-son, Duffy (Brenda) Cribbs; daughter, Robbie (Danny) Brewer;
sisters, Helen Campbell and Elsie Dotson; sister-in-law, Topsy Layne;
grandchildren, Kerrie (Keith) Pippenger, Matt (Nicole) Brewer, Krista
(Jason) Smith, Andra Brewer (Jimmy) Ivy; Kelsie (Bradley) Adams, and
Lindsey (Clay) Duke; 7 great grandchildren; special cousin, Sammy Parmley.

Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022,
from 10:00am until 2:00pm at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, TN.
Funeral services will be conducted immediately following visitation at
2:00pm in the chapel of Central Funeral Home with Rev. Kent Bailey
officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Tullahoma,
TN.
