5/18/18–Kenneth Ray Allgood

Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth Ray Allgood, age 73, of Manchester, TN will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 18, 2018, at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at the funeral home. Mr. Allgood passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, in Manchester, TN.

Kenneth was born in Gwinnett County, GA on November 17, 1944, to the late Hoyt and Runnette Allgood. He was a graduate of Tullahoma High School and lived all his life in Coffee County except for the four years he served in the United States Air Force. He served one year overseas in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. Kenneth enjoyed fishing and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, and in his life owned several bass boats and motorcycles.

Kenneth is survived by his son, Kenneth Allgood of Murfreesboro; daughter, Lori (Bryan) Timmis of Knoxville; two brothers, Bobby Allgood of Lynchburg and Leon Allgood of Manchester; one sister, Rebecca Allgood Gober of Manchester; and five grandchildren, Zachary, Kenny, and Ethan Allgood, and Bradley and LCPL Brandon Timmis, USMC.

5/15/18 — Lanie Scott Adams

Adams, Lanie Scott, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Saturday, May
12th, 2018 at Tennova Healthcare Harton at the age of 75. Mrs. Adams was
born in Lumberton, North Carolina to the late Franklin and Blanche
VanDyke Newton. She was also a member of First Presbyterian Church in
Tullahoma. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Adams was preceded in death
by her husband, Dr. John Cecil Adams, Jr. She is survived by her son,
Frank Adams and his wife Brandi of Smyrna; her granddaughter, Anna Adams
of Smyrna; and her sister, Lillian Wysong and her husband Edward.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 15th, 2018 at Kilgore Funeral
Home from 3:00-5:00pm with the funeral to follow at 5:00pm with Dr.
Stephen Yates officiating. Mrs. Adams will be buried at Pinecrest
Cemetery in Gibson, North Carolina on Friday morning, May 18th, 2018. For
those who wish, in lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be
made to First Presbyterian Church, 204 East Grundy Street, Tullahoma,
Tennessee 37388.

5/19/18–Ted D. Helms

Ted D. Helms, age 79, born July 1st, 1938, passed Friday, May 11th at his
home in Tullahoma, TN of natural causes. He is survived by his wife
of 60 years, Janis, sons Bobby and Kenny Helms, daughter-in-law Alicia
Helms, and grandson Peyton Helms. He is preceded in death by
parents Bob and Nona Maness Helms and grandparents Robert Riley Helms and
Martha Helms and daughter-in-law Aili Helms. Ted was quarterback for the
Decatur County Rams and graduated in 1956.He then attended UT
Martin and graduated UT Knoxville in 1960. He was an avid fan of the Vols
and was a season ticket holder for over 40 years. Ted moved to Tullahoma
in 1972 to be an engineer at Tennessee Apparel. He advanced to Vice
President and became President and co-owner in 1994. For 40 years
he guided TAC to some of its greatest successes. He was an active
member of the AAMA. Ted was from West Tennessee where he and his family
own a summer home on the Tennessee River. He enjoyed bush hogging
the fields of his family farm and making everything beautiful. Locally,
he was a supporter of Tullahoma City Schools, Project Graduation,
Sportsmen Business Charitable Association, and several other
charities. Ted was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church of
Tullahoma. A memorial celebration of Ted’s life will be held on Saturday,
May 19th at 11:00 am at the First United Methodist Church of Tullahoma
with a reception following. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested
donations be made to the Missions Memorial Fund at First United Methodist
Church of Tullahoma.

5/14/18 — Stanley “Merle” Bailey

Funeral services for Mr. Stanley “Merle” Bailey, age 90, of Tullahoma will be
conducted on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 2:00PM at Manchester Funeral Home
with Reverend Nutters and Brother Ben officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill
Memorial Gardens with full military honors. The family will receive friends on
Monday, May 14, 2018 from 10AM until 2:00PM. Mr. Bailey passed away on
Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Tennova Healthcare- Harton.
Merle was born on August 7, 1927 to the late Victor and Jimmie Bailey. He was a
US Army Veteran serving in the World War II. He enjoyed being around people,
fishing, and most importantly he lived for his music.
In addition to his parents, Merle is preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Preston
Bailey; two sisters, Laura A. Shavers and Mildred Gladney. Merle is survived by
one daughter; Debbie (Mike) Stone; one son; Dwayne (Brenda) Bailey; two
grandchildren; Clint (Katie) Bailey and Cody (Nikki) Bailey; one great grandchild;
Ruby Bailey; special friend, Carolyn Keele

5/16/18 — Katherine Patricia Qualls Ewell

Funeral services for Katherine Patricia Qualls Ewell of Manchester will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, May16, 2018 in the chapel of Manchester Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Manchester Funeral Home.

She was born in Livingston, Tennessee to the late Nannie May (Carr) Qualls and Ulice Carver Qualls.

Mrs. Ewell lost her long battle with ALS passing away peacefully on May 11, 2018 in the Reynolds Baptist Hospice House in Collierville, Tennessee. No one could have fought the disease harder or with a more positive attitude than did she. She was an inspiration to everyone who was blessed enough to cross her path, whether as a member of her church family or as one with whom she shared her many talents. She was an avid and extremely gifted seamstress and quilter, and even as her voice and strength failed her continued to teach young and old alike to pursue the craft for which she was so passionate. She was even more passionate in regard to her faith and love of God, sharing that as well by teaching a ladies Bible study for 28 years. The impact she had on others will live on for many generations.

Her family includes her husband of more than 60 years, Gerald Leighton Ewell, Sr; one son, Gerald Leighton Ewell, Jr of Manchester, Tennessee; one daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Bunker Stout of Memphis, Tennessee, and two grandchildren, Samuel Stout of Watertown, New York and Kirby Stout of Atlanta, Georgia; one sister, Lois Arnold of Warren, Ohio; three brothers, Gentry (Irene) Qualls of New Castle, Indiana, Francis Earl (Wanda) Qualls of Columbia, Tennessee, and Henry Carver Qualls of Scottsdale, Arizona; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother; Millard Houston Qualls, a sister Virginia Ann Qualls Todaro.

5/14/18 — Helen Elizabeth Bozeman

Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Elizabeth Bozeman, age 79 of Manchester, will be conducted on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Woodlawn Memorial Park South Mausoleum Chapel with Brother Benny Benjamin officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Mrs. Bozeman passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at McArthur Manor.

Helen was born on April 8, 1939 in Atlanta, GA to the late Roy and Louella Dewberry. She was a former member of Inglewood Presbyterian Church in Nashville. She retired as an administrative assistant from the licensing board with the State of Tennessee. She loved reading, sewing and was an outstanding cook. Helen was an animal lover and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Bozeman, Sr.; brothers, Lee Roy Dewberry, Cecil Dewberry, Jack Dewberry; sisters, Evelyn Whiting and Frances Dewberry. Survived by her son, Ronnie Bozeman, Jr.; daughter, Deborah Ann Bozeman; brothers, Charles Daniel Dewberry (Nada), Thomas Dewberry; sister, Mary Lou Murray (Donald; grandchildren, Brittany Banks (Stephen), Jeffrey Osman (Joleen); great-grandchildren, Finnlay Osman, Scarlett Osman, Rainey Hunt; special niece, Beth Bliss; numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.

5/15/18 — William Bruno Beaulieu

Beaulieu, William Bruno, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Thursday,
May 10th, 2018 at his home at the age of 70. Mr. Beaulieu was born in
Manchester, New Hampshire to the late Ubald and Lilian Labrecque
Beaulieu. He is survived by four sisters, Anita Tate and her husband Roy
of Estill Springs, Sue Wagner and her husband David of Lebanon, Maine,
Gloria Lowe and her husband Bobby of Manchester, and Rita Bell and her
husband Randy of Tullahoma; six brothers, Richard Beaulieu of Dover, New
Hampshire, Mike Beaulieu of Tullahoma, Alan Beaulieu and his wife Cindy
of Decherd, David Beaulieu and his wife Judy of Tullahoma, Danny Beaulieu
of Manchester, and Chip Beaulieu and his wife Chris of Dayton, Tennessee;
and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, May
14st, 2018 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00pm. Funeral services
will be on Tuesday, May 15nd, 2018 at 11:00am in the Kilgore Funeral Home
Chapel with his brother, Rev. Chip Beaulieu officiating. Burial will
follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

Peggy Greene Watts

Peggy Greene Watts was born on June 3, 1940 in Athens, AL to Merle Henry
Greene and Jewell Dean Carter Greene. She married David Daniel Watts on
November 15, 1955 in Booneville, MS. Together, they had six children:
David Daniel Watts, Jr., Rebecca Jane Watts, Timmy Whittington Watts,
James Elliott Watts, John Anthony Watts, and Mary Lois Watts; 10
grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in
death by her parents, her husband, and her daughter, Rebecca Jane Watts.

Peggy died peacefully on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at her residence in
Manchester, TN, surrounded by her loving family. A private memorial
service will be scheduled at a later date.

Funeral services for Cory Lee Ciesielski, age 29 of Manchester, will be conducted on Friday, May 11, 2018 from 6:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. in the chapel of Coffee County Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. Cory passed away on Monday, May 7, 2018.
Cory was born in Gillette, Wyoming on February 9, 1989. He was currently a technician for General Mills in Murfreesboro, TN and was a 2007 graduate of Coffee County Central High School. Cory loved to be on the lake, fishing, cooking and grilling
Preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Mary Dickey, Arthur and Helen Ciesielski; uncle, Ron Dickey. Survived by his father, Bud Ciesielski; mother, Chris Ciesielski; sister, Shawna Ciesielski; his son, Carson Ciesielski; uncles, Gary Dickey, Mark Dickey, Steve (Suzie) Dickey, Dave (Debbie) Dickey; aunt, Debbie Dickey; many cousins and friends.

5/9/18–William Harvey Andrews

William Harvey Andrews, age 83, of Manchester, TN, passed away on
Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Manchester Healthcare. No services are
scheduled.

Mr. Andrews was born in Boston, MA, the son of the late William and Anna
Mills Andrews. He was a veteran of the United States Army in the Korean
War and was a sheet metal worker for Local Union #17. William loved
sports, including basketball, baseball, and hockey, loved eating seafood,
and enjoyed outdoor activities. He was a member of Hillsboro United
Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, William was also preceded in death by his
wife, Doris Andrews and one sister, Audrey Brooks. He is survived by two
sons, William H. (Cindy) Andrews and Robert Allen (Doreen) Andrews; one
daughter, Sherren Mouradian; one sister, Carol McDonald; and eight
grandchildren.
