6/4/18 — Victor Thomas Shahan, Sr.

VICTOR THOMAS SHAHAN, SR., age 84, of Tullahoma, Tenn., departed this life Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Life Care Center of Tullahoma, following an extended illness. Mr. Shahan was born in Winchester, Tenn., on Nov. 7, 1933, to the late Earl Munford Shahan and Annie Davis Shahan. He attended Tullahoma schools and went on to graduate from the University of Notre Dame and the Carnegie Institute of Technology. Then he served in the United States Air Force. During his lifetime he worked and retired from IBM in Fishkill, New York. He was an active 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus in Wappingers Falls, New York and at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Tullahoma. Mr. Shahan enjoyed being a Boy Scout Leader for many years, as well as, gardening and boating. He was devoted to his grandchildren and large extended family.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Shahan was preceded in death by his brothers; Earl, Louis and James Shahan, sisters; Martha Anderson and Miriam Shahan. He is survived by his wife, Carol Shahan of Tullahoma, sons; Dr. Patrick Shahan and wife Rena of Monument, Colorado, Victor Thomas Shahan, Jr. of Tullahoma, daughters; Marjorie Ann Bowen of Old Orchard Beach, Maine and Teresa Ellen Milliken and husband Andrew of Wappingers Falls, New York. 7 Grandchildren; Dr. Brian Shahan, Dr. Andrew Shahan, Katherine Shahan, Matthew Bowen, McKenzie Bowen, Lindsay Milliken, Alexander Milliken, sister, Sarah Ann Marshall and husband Bill of Huntsville, Alabama, several nieces and nephews.

Services for Mr. Shahan will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 4, 2018 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Tullahoma with visitation to be held from 10:00 A.M. until service time at 11:00, with Father Steven Klasic officiating. Interment will follow in the Winchester Memorial Park with Military honors bestowed.

In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to Hospice Compassus at 110 E. Lauderdale Street, Tullahoma, TN 37388.

6/3/18 — Billy Ray Corvin, Sr.

Billy Ray Corvin, Sr., of Tullahoma, passed this life on Wednesday, May 30,
2018 at his residence at the age of 61 years. Funeral Services will be held
Sunday, June 3, 2018 at 2 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with burial
to follow at Maplewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning
at 1 PM.

Mr. Corvin was the son of the late James and Arry Katherine Dorsett Corvin.
He attended Eastside Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed working on small
engines and four wheelers. He especially enjoyed spending time with his
family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Marie
Ann Corvin and sister, Mary Wilder.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Taylor Corvin of Tullahoma; two sons,
Billy Corvin Jr and Bobby Corvin, both of Tullahoma; daughter, Ann Dahmer
of Tullahoma; sisters, Dorothy Lee Felix of Smyrna, Doris Hall and Linda
Corvin, both of Winchester and seven grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in her

5/31/18 — Jeffery Joe Mitchell

Jeffery Joe Mitchell, age 55 of Manchester passed away Friday, May 25,
2018 at St. Thomas West Hospital. He was born in El Paso, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, Melanie Mitchell of Manchester; Parents, Joe
& Sue Hobbs Mitchell of Woodbury; Children, Jeremy Bingham of Manchester,
Kayla (Bradley) Kennedy of Tullahoma, Kendra (Ryan) Stewart of
Winchester, Issac Gardner of Manchester, Heather (Matt) Howland of
California, Stephanie (Cody) Stephens of Tullahoma, Brittany Mitchell of
Manchester, & Tyler Mitchell of Manchester; Brothers, Greg (Nora)
Mitchell of Woodbury & Jason Mitchell of Woodbury; Grandchildren, Ziah
Bingham, Landen Kennedy, Fallon Kennedy, Nathan Stewart, Nick Stewart,
Dillon, Kaitlynn, & Leland Howland, Jude, Maya, & Cora Stephens, & Ashton
Mitchell; and Mother-in-law, Lynda Harrell of Manchester.
Mr. Mitchell was employed by the Manchester City Water Department and his
church relationship was non-denominational. He enjoyed cooking on his
grill, singing & playing his guitar, but most of all he loved spending
time with his family & grandbabies.
Funeral services will be 2 pm Thursday, May 31, 2018 in the Chapel of
Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Mitchell officiating. Interment
will follow in the Cherry Cemetery. Pallbearers include Greg and Jason
Mitchell, Jeremy Bingham, Bradley Kennedy, Kevin Brown & Zach Miller.
Visitation with his family will be from 4 pm until 9 pm Wednesday.

5/31/18 — Martha Sue Jackson

Jackson, Martha Sue, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Sunday, May
27th, 2018 at Life Care Center at the age of 79. Mrs. Jackson was born in
Waverly, Tennessee to the late Merrill and Mary Evelyn Pierce Shaw.
During her life she worked as a Registered Nurse for Saint Thomas Medical
Center and was a member of First Baptist Church in Tullahoma. Mrs.
Jackson is survived by her husband, Charles Jackson of Tullahoma; three
sons, Eric Jackson and his wife Amy of Tullahoma, Scott Jackson and his
wife Susan of Sarasota, Florida and Mike Jackson of Tullahoma; one
sister, Lorita Daniels of Mt. Pleasant; two grandchildren, Chelsea
Hornback and Austin Jackson; and three great-grandchildren, Kinsley
Cates, Eli Cates and Amelia Hornback. Visitation for Mrs. Jackson will be
held on Thursday, May 31st, 2018 at Kilgore Funeral Home from
11:00am-1:00pm with the funeral to immediately follow at 1:00pm with Dr.
J. Herbert Hester and Pastor David Royalty officiating. Burial will
follow at Summitville Cemetery in Summitville, Tennessee. For those who

Joanne Marie Adams

Mrs. Joanne Marie Adams, 76, passed away, Saturday May 26,
2018 at her home. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida on May 2, 1942 to
Robert C. Wood and Ruth J. Ellson Wood who preceded her in death along with
her brother, Robbie Wood.

She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Adams; daughters, Debbie (Jeff)
Carter, Donna (Lee) Campbell and DeeDee Freeman; grandsons, Colton Carter
and Josh Wimley; nephews, Craig and Chad Wood.

A private service was held with the family and burial was in the Rose Hill

5/29/18 — David Hulon Smith

Mr. David Hulon Smith of Pelham, Tennessee, passed away at the age
of 75 on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in
Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He was born on February 09, 1943, in Pelham,
Tennessee to the late John Hulon Smith and Lucille Patterson Smith. He is
also preceded in death by his son Terry Russell Smith and brother Jimmy Ray
Smith.

Mr. Smith was a member of the Valley Home Methodist Church and a long-time
farmer in the Pelham Valley.

He is survived by his loving wife Katherine Ann Smith, sons; David Troy
Smith (Rhonda) and Ricky Douglas Smith (Chauncey), daughter in law Beverly
Smith, sister Margaret Ellen Spencer, grandchildren; Katie, Ethan, Tori,
Lyric, Kenneth, Jarrell, Jada and Jasmine, great grandchildren; Emily and
Allie, and large extended family and friends.

The Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Cumberland
Funeral Home, Monteagle, Tennessee with Bro. Jimmy Goodman officiating.

5/25/18 — Bonnie Dodson

Bonnie Dodson, of Shelbyville, passed this life on Thursday, May 24, 2018
at her residence at the age of 60 years. Memorial Services are scheduled
for Sunday, May 27, 2018 at 2 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home. The
family will receive friends beginning at 1 PM.

A native of Shelbyville, she was the daughter of the late Boyd and Mary
Baxter Warren. Mrs. Dodson loved going shopping but her favorite times were
spent with her family. She also enjoyed being outside gardening and
playing cards.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Ricky
“Slim” Adcock and sisters, Judy Baldoff and Patty Cartwright.

She is survived by son, Gary Dodson and his wife, Devin of Shelbyville;
daughter, Mary Tigue of Manchester; brother, Michael Warren of Beechgrove;
sisters, Debbie Blackmon of Shelbyville, Danita Thompson and her husband,
Jimmy of Shelbyville and Nancy Freeman and her husband, Glen of Beechgrove;
eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Rachel Nell Bogle Duggin, 87, of Manchester, TN. Passed away Tues., May
22, 2018 at Horizon Health & Rehab. She was a native of Cannon Co.
Survivors include her 3 children, Patsy (Larry) Thrasher of Manchester,
Brenda (Kenneth) Haggard of Tullahoma, Timmy Duggin and his fiancé, Chris
Johnson of Nashville; grandchildren, Angela (Mark) Holder, Tammy Binson,
Kristy (Richard) Crabtree, Coty (Brittany) Haggard, Jody (Laura) Haggard,
Darrell (Collette) Lee, Tina Duggin, Rachel Duggin and her fiancé,
Michael Bailey; great grandchildren, Amber, Derek, Cody, Sierra, Madison,
Kayse, Dakota, Ally, Jedidiah, Kyler, Landon, Issac, Dillon, Lucas,
Caden, Michael, Zander, Chelsea, Candace, Chasity and Matthew; great
great grandchildren, Kylee, Jaythan, Blain, Hadlee, Brileigh, Adriana,

She was a member of the Red Hill Church of Christ and a factory worker.

5/25/18 — Herschel Dwayne Rogers

Herschel Dwayne Rogers, age 71, of Tullahoma, TN, passed away on Monday,
May 14, 2018 at Tennova Harton Hospital in Tullahoma. Memorial services
will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 4:00 PM at Manchester Funeral
Home. Visitation with the family will be on Friday from 2-4 PM at the
funeral home.

Herschel was born in Manchester, TN, the son of the late Herschel D. and
Frances Marie West Rogers. He served his country in the United States
Navy and was a guard in the law enforcement industry. Hershel enjoyed
fishing, playing the lottery, playing cards, and painting.

In addition to his parents, Herschel was also preceded in death by two
sisters, Patsy Rogers and Linda Adams. He is survived by his wife, Mary
Rogers; one son, Zack Rogers; one daughter, April Michelle Rogers; two
brothers, Earl Scott Rogers and Mark Edward Rogers; two sisters, Debra
Wiser and Mary Ann (Allan) Sims; grandchildren, Casey Dwayne Parks,

Lillian M Knepp, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Monday, May 21, 2018 at her residence at the age of 90 years. Memorial Services are scheduled for Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 1 PM at her residence, 12231 Tullahoma Highway, Tullahoma, TN.

A native of Clearfield County, PA, she was the daughter of the late John Filmore and Martha Francis Ramsey Lanager. She enjoyed reading and listening to audio books and well as listening to country music. She also enjoyed shrimping and camping.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Knepp.

She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Simmons and her husband, Dewayne of Tullahoma and Gail Kerin and her husband, William of Bigler, PA; sister, Lois Self of Shepard, TX; seven grandchildren, Robert Kerin and his wife, Christy of Elizabethtown, PA, Angela Hager and her husband, Joe of Manuta, OH, Joey Hager of Manuta, OH, Shawn Gray and his wife, Mildred of Middleburg, FL, Eric Gray and his wife, Erin of Tullahoma, Jessica Simmons of Elkhart, IN and Alan Simmons of Elkhart, IN and eleven great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Matthew Kerin, Ericka and Michael Hager, Melynna and Shannon Gray, Mark and Kaydence Gray, Hayley McMahan and Hayden and Natila Adams.
