2/8/19 — Frances Ferrell Anderson

Mrs. Frances Ferrell Anderson, 82, passed away Tuesday February 5, 2019, at her home. She was born in Manchester, Tennessee, on July 29, 1936, the oldest child and only daughter to Joe and Lola Floyd Ferrell who preceded her in death in addition to her daughter, Melissa Diane Anderson; brother, Russell Ferrell. She was married to Billy Anderson from 1959 until his death in 2008. Together they raised 2 daughters on their small farm in Hillsboro. Frances was a huge help-mate
to her husband and was always by his side when tending to farm animals,
raking hay or planting the truck patch. A lot of folks will remember
seeing Miss Frances at the farmers markets with her veggies, jellies and
rocks. Frances was a much loved wife, mother and “Nanny”. She was a
member of the Prairie Plains Church of Christ and was a good neighbor,
volunteer and friend to the many people that knew her.

She is survived by her daughters, Angie Lane and her husband Timmy and
Connie Gastineau and her husband J.C.; brothers, Eldie and Birl Ferrell;
grandchildren, Chrissy (Jeremy) Thomas, Kara (Trevor) Carlton, Jillian
(Dylan) Cunningham, Caley and Cooper Gastineau; great grandchildren,
Lillian, Kayson, Madilyn and Kaitlyn; sister-in-law, Carolyn Hollingsworth;
several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday in the Central Funeral Home Chapel
with Minister Billy Robison with burial to follow in the Mount Pleasant
Cemetery. Visitation: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM Thursday at Central Funeral Home,

2/8/19 — Mary Lynn Mills

Funeral services for Ms. Mary Lynn Mills, age 47, of Manchester, will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 8, 2019, at Manchester Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home on Thursday, February 7, 2019.

Mary was born in Atlanta, GA to Catherine Henry and the late Bobby Donihe. She was known as the “Flooring Covering Lady”. Mary liked being outdoors, fishing, and camping. She was a hard worker and devoted friend. Mary loved spending time with family and friends, and she had a heart of gold.

Mary is survived by her mother, Catherine Henry; loving boyfriend of 7 years, Creg Melton; one brother, David Donihe; one sister, Lorra Fields.

2/12/19–Charles L Owens

Charles L Owens of Tullahoma, passed this life on Monday, February 4, 2019
at his residence at the age of 74 years. Graveside Memorial Services are
scheduled for 2 PM, Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Miller Cemetery in New
Market, AL.

A native of Franklin County, he was the son of the late Roy and Oma Mooney
Owens. He was a graduate of Flintville High School and a member of the
First Baptist Church of Tullahoma. He loved horses and watching sports on
TV. His favorites were college football and basketball games.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sons, Danny and
Patrick Owens; brothers, Stanford, A C and Jerry Owens and sisters, Barbara
Mason and Geraldine Walker.

Mr. Owens is survived by his wife, Diane Owens of Tullahoma; son, Randy
Owens and his wife, Charlotte of New Market, AL; Daughters, Amanda Mance
and her husband, Trottwood of Grant, AL, Margaret McAnally of Fayetteville
and Tonya Cook of Athens, AL; brother, Ed Owens of New Market, AL; sisters,
Betty Bates and Mary Jane Pruitt, both of Tullahoma; grandchildren, Callie
and Michael Brown of Grant, AL, Blake Owens and Kelsey Adams of Hillsboro,
Tyler and Shelby Tinsley of Tullahoma, Haley and Alex McKendrick of New
Market, AL, Courtney Jennings of Grant, AL, Holly Owens of New Market, AL,
Alexis Owens of Tullahoma, David Cook of Estill Springs, Peyton Brown of
Tullahoma and Maggie Mance of Grant, AL; five great grandchildren, Hayes
Brewer, Bristol McKendrick, Ryleigh Tinsley, Levi Owens and Hartley Brown
and several nieces and nephews.

2/8/19–Dr. Harry Elam Nisbett

Dr. Harry Elam Nisbett of Tullahoma, passed this life on Monday, February
4, 2019 at his residence at the age of 87 years. Funeral Services are
scheduled for 2 PM, Friday, February 8, 2019 at Trinity Lutheran Church,
705 Wilson Avenue, Tullahoma, TN with burial to follow at Oakwood
Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 PM at the church.

A native of Murfreesboro, TN, he was the son of the late Roy and Pauline
Prater. He attended the University of Tennessee and received his Doctor of
Veterinary Medicine degree from Auburn University. He opened his
Veterinary Clinic in Tullahoma in 1956 and was the city’s only
veterinarian
until 1980. He practiced in Tullahoma for 53 years, closing his practice in
2009.

Dr. Nisbett was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Rotary Club and the
Walking Horse Association. He also enjoyed volunteering and was very active
in 5 Loaves 4 Kids, a local non-profit organization helping children. He
was a charter member of the Motlow College Foundation and received the
Tennessee State Board of Regents Chancellor’s Award for Philanthropy at
Motlow College. The Motlow gymnasium, the Nisbett Center, is named after he
and his wife.

Dr. Nisbett loved all sports and was very active with all youth sports in
Tullahoma. He enjoyed UT Football and had season tickets for over 50 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty
Qualls and Mary Watts.

Dr. Nisbett is survived by his loving wife of almost 65 years, MO Smith
Nisbett of Tullahoma; sons, Denis Nisbett and his wife, Lynn of Tullahoma
and Mackie Nisbett and his wife, Allison of McDonough, GA; daughter, Mary
Johnson and her husband, Sammy of Statesboro, GA; grandchildren, Marshall
Nisbett of Gallatin, TN, Jennifer Nisbett of Tullahoma, Bess Burnett and
her husband, Matt of Lawrenceville, GA, Robbie Nesbitt of McDonough, GA,
Christie Aldrich, Kelly Robinson and her significant other, Chris Miller,
and Tucker Hall, all of Statesboro, GA and eight great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in his honor
to Trinity Lutheran Church or the Tullahoma Animal Shelter.

Mary Jo Payne

Mary Jo Payne passed this life on Saturday, February 2, 2019  at NHC of
Tullahoma at the age of 70.  Mrs. Payne requested no memorial services be
scheduled.

A native of Jackson, MI, she was the daughter of the late
Gerald and Jane Middlebrook Copeland. She loved flowers and gardening.  She
enjoyed doing needlepoint and crewel work, loved going shopping and playing
the organ.  Her favorite color was pink and she loved babies.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a
daughter, Jodine Snapp.

Mrs. Payne is survived by her husband, Richard Payne of
Brooklyn, MI; son, Thomas James Haller and his wife, Clara of Napoleon, MI;
daughters, Kimberly Chapin and her husband, James of San Diego, CA; Janie
Treinish and her husband, Jack of Columbus, OH and Shannon Dickerson and
her husband, Larry of Winchester; brothers, Thomas Copeland and his wife,
Marion of North Dakota, Robert Copeland and his wife, Sidney of Jackson, MI
and Douglas Copeland and his wife, Kathy; sixteen grandchildren and three
great grandchildren.

2/7/19 — Angeline “Angie” Waterson

Funeral services for Mrs. Angeline “Angie” Waterson, age 97, of Beechgrove, TN, will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 7, 2019, at Manchester Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at the funeral home. Mrs. Waterson passed from this life on Sunday, February 3, 2019, at her residence.

Mrs. Waterson was born in Coffee Co., TN to the late John Wesley and Maude Mary Ann Kell Shelton. She was a member and Sunday School teacher at the same church as her ancestors, Garrison Fork Baptist Church in Beechgrove. She loved quilting, crocheting, baking, and cooking, but her favorite thing was flowers and taking care of her family. Angie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Angie is also preceded in death by her loving husband of 71 years, Manley Waterson; one son, John Lester Waterson; one son-in-law, William Miller, Jr.; two brothers, John Wesley Shelton and Lester Lee Shelton; two sisters, Pauline Shelton Banks and Lois Shelton Sholter. She is survived by two sons, Boyd (Flossie) Waterson of Shelbyville, TN and Terrell (Gail) Waterson of Beechgrove, TN; one daughter, Shirley Ganelle Waterson Miller of Christiana, TN; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Diana L. Mordeszewski

Diana L. Mordeszewski of Flintville, passed this life on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Huntsville Hospital at the age of 59 Years. No services are scheduled.

Mrs. Mordeszewski, a native of Milwaukee, was the daughter of the late David Haberski and Patricia A. Gutham Haberski of Flintville. She loved to work and was the Controller at Honda of Decatur. She loved to cook and was a Barbeque Competitor along with a KCBS certified judge. She also enjoyed motorcycle riding and doing volunteer work.

She is survived by her mother, Patricia A. Harberski of Flintville and her husband, Anthony Mordeszewski Jr. of Flintville.

2/9/19–Joseph Thomas Tucker, Jr.

Mr. Joseph Thomas Tucker, Jr. age 67, of Hillsboro, TN, passed from this life on Friday, February 1, 2019 at his residence. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 1:30 P.M. at Asbury Methodist Church. 2/7/19 — Robert Sidney Langham

Mr. Robert Sidney Langham, 30, passed away Friday
February 1, 2019 at his home in Manchester, Tennessee. He was born in
Manchester on July, 11, 1988.

He was employed by Great Lakes Cheese in Manchester. He was a graduate of
Coffee County Central High and Middle Tennessee State University. He was
known by everyone as a devoted Alabama Football fan.

He is survived by his mother, Tammy and her husband, Bob Wilson; father,
Chris Langham and his wife, Dana; daughter, Kailey Langham; brothers,
Austin Cline and Jacob Langham; grandparents, Clairrene and Nelson Hale,
George and Julia Haynes, Frank and Linda Langham; step-grandparents, the
late Larry Robertson, Sandra Robertson, Craig and Clara Munn; numerous
aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday in the Central Funeral Home
Chapel with Minister Randy Robertson officiating. Visitation: 4:00 PM –

2/4/19 — Grover T. Crosslin

Friday February 1, 2019 at his home. He was born in Manchester, Tennessee
on April 14, 1925 to Aubrey and Addie Harmon Crosslin who preceded him in
death along with his brothers, Roy, Hillery, Ervin “E.C.” and Joe
Crosslin;
sisters, Blanch Gregory and Vinita Shavers.

He had served as an Elder at the South Side Church of Christ and was a
current member of the Main Street Church of Christ and retired
Administrator from AEDC. Grover was a talented artist, musician and poet.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Linda Crosslin; daughter, Bonnie
Ballard-Wall and her husband, Mike of Hillsboro; sons, Ricky Lynn Crosslin
and his wife Cynthia of Elizabethtown, KY, Ruben Kell Crosslin, Smyrna, TN,
Robin Dell Crosslin and his wife, Ida of Thompson Station, TN and David
Mahlon Crosslin, Manchester, TN; sister, Oleta Crawley, Kentucky;
grandchildren, Scot, Thomas, Amber, David and Lacey Crosslin; great
grandchildren, Aubrey and Bailey Crosslin; several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to recognize with special thanks his loving
caregivers, Michelle Teal and Cindy Davis.
