Houston Levy Wilson

 Mr. Houston Levy Wilson, age 82, of Manchester, TN,
passed from the life on Thursday, March 17, 2022, in Manchester, TN.

Mr. Wilson was born in Hillsboro, TN to his late parents James Herbert
Wilson and Georgia Pauline Burt Wilson. He was a member of New Union
Baptist Church. Mr. Wilson loved fishing and also enjoyed hunting at times.
His passion was painting and he owned his own house painting business. Mr.
Wilson served our country in the United States Navy. In addition to his
parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Wilson; sons, Phillip
and Billy Dean; sister, Alice Joy Bye and brother, Charles Wilson.

Mr. Wilson is survived by daughters, Cheryl Feeback and Kimberly Uselton;
brother, Ronnie Wilson; sister, Virginia Parker; grandchildren, Samantha,
Tara, Shaun, Tabitha, Nicole, Christen, Michael, and Kristina; 17 great
grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, from
12noon until 2:00pm at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, TN. Funeral
services will be conducted immediately following visitation at 2:00pm in
the chapel of Central Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rose Hill
Memorial Gardens in Tullahoma, TN.

Frances Mack Weaver

Frances Mack Weaver of Tullahoma passed this life on Thursday, March 17,
2022 at the Life Care Center of Tullahoma at the age of 95. Graveside
Memorial Services will be scheduled at a later time in Williamsburg, KY.

A native of Pleasant View (Williamsburg), KY, she was the daughter of the
late Robert Francis and Nancy Mack Weaver. She was a member of the First
United Methodist Church of Tullahoma and she and her husband of 57 years,
Hiram Melvin Weaver were very active in the church.  The attended the
Friendship Sunday School Class. She enjoyed traveling, taking cruises and
visiting the beach.  She also enjoyed visiting with her family in Kentucky.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by
sister, Sue Hewgley.

She is survived by daughters, Melanie Lindgren of Signal Mountain, TN and
Marilyn Weaver of Tullahoma; sister, Bonnie Bishop of Williamsburg, Ky;
three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations to be made
to a children’s charity of your choice.

Sharon June Myers Brown

Sharon June Myers Brown passed from this earth on March 17, 2022, at the age of 81, surrounded by her family.  She was preceded in death by her beloved Saint, L.E. Brown Jr., to whom she was married for 52 years, until his passing in 2012.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, Verne and Elsa Myers, and her grandson, Aidan Brown. 

She is survived by her children, Suzanne (Lindsey) Garner, Greenbrier, TN, Tina (Wayne) Stephens, Manchester, TN, and Daniel Brown of Manchester.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Caroline, Riley, Jimmy and Liam, her sister, Lea Williams, niece, Nikki Edgerton and many other nieces and nephews. 

She was born in Seattle Washington on December 27, 1940.  She met her future husband at a Buck Owens concert in Spanaway Park in Washington State and married the young Air Force MP in June of 1960.  She moved to Tennessee with her new husband and a five-month-old daughter in 1961 and lived in Coffee County the rest of her life.  She worked for 15 years at the First Methodist Preschool Program in Manchester, TN as the Director and Lead Teacher.  For another 15 years, she owned and operated a pre-school, Mz. Sharon’s House, along with the help of L.E. and Daniel.  Mz. Sharon loved her children so much and hoped they all had good memories. 

An accomplished photographer and genealogist, she was an expert bird watcher, participating in many ornithological societies.  She enjoyed travelling and was most proud of completing all 50 states in 2018.  A proud liberal, she was very proud of her Democratic party membership. 

She was a member of the FUMC in Manchester for more than 60 years and served her Lord and Savior in acts, rather than words. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation in memory of Sharon be made to the First United Methodist Church Preschool Program in Manchester, TN. 

Wanda W. Holt

Wanda W. Holt, age 92, of Manchester, TN, passed from this life on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at Autumn Oaks Assisted Living, Manchester, Tennessee. She was a member of Manchester First Baptist Church, where she enjoyed attending church and her Sunday School class. Mrs. Holt was born February 19, 1930, in Cocke County, Tennessee, the eldest of six children to her late parents Scott Boyer Wood and Lucy Turner Wood. A hard worker all her life, she worked in the corn and tobacco fields with her father and younger brother. As a young girl she picked and sold blackberries with her siblings to help pay for their school clothes. This work ethic continued throughout her life.

After her marriage in 1953, her husband’s employment took them all over the eastern United States. She lived as far north as Rome, New York; as far south as Homestead, Florida; and as far west as Grand Prairie, Texas with many stops in between. She made and kept in touch with many friends throughout the years. They finally settled in Manchester in 1965. Later she worked and retired from the State of Tennessee Employment Security, Claims Division.

In her free time, she enjoyed being with family, especially her grandson, cooking, baking, sewing, and being outdoors. She quilted for several years with a group of friends from First Baptist Church. She was an early riser, and if asked why, she would reply “it was to read and study my Bible.” After her health failed, she enjoyed visiting with family and watching westerns on TV, namely “Gunsmoke” and “The Lone Ranger.”

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, P.T. Holt; a brother, L. S. Wood; and a sister, Colleen Ball. Mrs. Holt is survived by her daughter, Karen (Phil) Medley; son, Jeff (Renee) Holt; grandson, Dylan
Holt; three sisters, Shirley Shelton, Peggy Kilgore, and Barbara (Don) Welch; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, Tennessee. Funeral services will be conducted immediately following visitation at Central Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Jake Dorak officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Tullahoma, Tennessee.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at Autumn Oaks and Adoration Hospice for their loving care provided to Mrs. Holt.

Ronald Lee Turner

Ronald Lee Turner, of Manchester, passed this life on Monday, March 14 th , 2022 at Unity Medical Center at the age of 62. Mr. Turner was born in Tullahoma to the late William A. and Eva Marie Wilkinson Turner. He was a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University and earned his Master’s Degree from UTSI. Mr. Turner worked as a computer programmer at Arnold Engineering Development Center. He is survived by his loving wife, Tammy Turner; two daughters, Traci (Bo) Boswell and Amy (Ken) Canary; brothers and sisters, Mark (Debbie) Turner, Hal Turner, Shannon (Carl) Monin, and Judy (Gary) Raymond; and three grandchildren, Turner and Weston Boswell and Katie Canary. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 20 th , 2022 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 12:00-3:00pm with the funeral to follow at 3:00pm with Bro. Gary Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Marilyn Joan Strotheide

Marilyn Joan Strotheide, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Tuesday, March 15 th , 2022 at NHC at the age of 85. Marilyn was born in Marion, Indiana to the late Carl and Eva Bahr. She was well traveled and loved quilting and ceramics and was a very talented artist. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Norman Emil Strotheide and John Leming; and one son, Michael Leming. Marilyn is survived by one step-son, Eric (Mary) Strotheide; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a loving mother to her adopted son, and a wonderful step-mother and mother-in-law. Burial at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens will take place at a later date. Dennis Lee Lawson

Dennis Lee Lawson of Tullahoma passed this life on Tuesday, March 15, 2022
at his residence at the age of 66. Funeral Services are scheduled at 2 PM
on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with burial to
follow at Maplewood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12 Noon
until the service time.

A native of Tullahoma, he was the son of the late Frank Lee and Martha Jean
Lola Chisam Lawson.  He was a member of the First Assembly of God and was a
Martial Arts Instructor.  He enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by wife, Andrea Lawson of Tullahoma; daughter, Cassie Pack
(Steven) of Lynchburg; step-children, Natalie Betina Wilson (Corey) of
Bakersfield, CA and Thomas Meyer Wilson (Maggie) of Bakersfield, CA;
sisters, Shwanda Ratliff (Gary) of Nashville, Penny Daniels of the state of
Washington and Joy Bates of Tulsa, OK and fourteen grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made in
his honor to Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.

William Ronald Whitehead

Whitehead, William Ronald , of Tullahoma, passed this life on Saturday, March 12 th , 2022 at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital at the age of 80. Mr. Whitehead was born in Maryville, Tennessee to the late Benjamin and Ethel Sellers Whitehead. He played football and was an all-state player for Blount County High School and was also a graduate of Park University in Missouri. Mr. Whitehead served his country proudly in the United States Air Force, where he played football and served during Vietnam. He retired from the Air Force after 22 years of service to his country and went on to work in logistics at AEDC from which he retired as well. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, as well as the American Legion and loved fishing and various sports. Mr. Whitehead is survived by his wife, Marga Whitehead; two sons, Andre’ Whitehead and Anthony Whitehead; one brother and one sister, Mack (Becky) Whitehead and Christine (Charles) Huskey; and two grandchildren, Hanna Neese and Ainsley Whitehead. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 17 th , 2022 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 12:00-2:00pm with the funeral to follow at 2:00pm with Rev. Marty Nutter officiating. Interment with full military honors will be held at a later date at Chattanooga National Cemetery.

Michael Albert Beaulieu

Beaulieu , Michael Albert, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Friday, March 11 th , 2022 at Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital at the age of 63. Mr. Beaulieu was born in Manchester, New Hampshire to the late Ubald and Liliane Labrecque Beaulieu. During his life, he worked in general labor for Nissan. In addition to his parents, Mr. Beaulieu was preceded in death by one son, Michael John Beaulieu; and one brother, William “Billy” Beaulieu. He is survived by two daughters, Ashley (Tracy) Rose, and Fallon (Lucas) Schmidt; one son, Michael Beaulieu; four sisters, Anita Tate, Sue (David) Wagner, Gloria (Bobby) Lowe, and Rita (Randy) Bell; five brothers, Richard (Pat) Beaulieu, Alan (Cindy) Beaulieu, David (Judy) Beaulieu, Danny Beaulieu, and Chip (Chris) Beaulieu; and one granddaughter, Katelyn Lowe. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 18 th , 2022 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 19 th , 2022 at 11:00am in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel with his brother, Chip Beaulieu officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

Joyce Ann Bentley

Joyce Ann Bentley , 84, of Tullahoma, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 13, 2022. She was born in Franklin County, November 30, 1937, to the late John Henry and Birdie May. Joyce was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Kind and considerate to everyone she met, Joyce loved spending time with her family, reading the Bible, and playing word games on the computer. Joyce was preceded in death by her brothers: Ben May, JB May, James May and Thomas May; her sisters: Mary Lou Kirby, Elma Beavers, Winnie Parks, Ruby Galligan, and Wilma Roberts. She is survived by her husband, Milton; her son Terry (Mihee) Bentley; her daughter Debbie (Tim) Henson; her grandchildren: Daniel (Becca) Bentley, David Bentley, and Stephen (Courtney) Bentley; and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 18 th , 2022 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 1:00-3:00pm with the funeral to follow at 3:00pm with Lynn Riddle officiating.
