Stevie “Steve” Lynn Gannon, age 53 of Manchester, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2020, at his home after an extended illness. He was born on May 5, 1966, in Woodbury, TN to the late Joe Harris and Jessie Ruth Thompson Gannon. He was a self-employed mechanic and of the Church of Christ faith.
Steve is survived by his wife, Rose Campbell Gannon; son, Stevie Gannon and his wife Deanna of Manchester; three daughters, Cassandra Gannon and husband, Daniel, Brittany Gannon and husband, Kris, and Ashley Binkley and husband, Bryan, all of Manchester; four brothers, George Gannon and wife, Teresa, Kerry Gannon and wife, Dusty, Gary Gannon and wife Anita, and Benji Gannon, all of Manchester; three sisters, LeKutta Carter and husband, Kent of Tullahoma, Melinda Wilder, and Leigh Anne Gannon and husband, Eddie, both of Manchester; seven grandchildren, Forrest Smith Jr., Keith Hayter, Marlee Wimley, Corben Buckner, Clayton Buckner, Madelyn Gannon, and Sophie Gannon; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

3/30/20 — Megan Lane Smith
Funeral services for Mr. Megan Lane Smith, age 85, of Manchester, TN will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 30, 2020, at First Baptist Church in Manchester. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Mr. Smith passed suddenly from this life doing what he loved, working on his farm, on Friday, March 27, 2020.
Lane was born in Chickasaw, AL, the son of the late Murphy and Sara Smith. He was a United States Army Veteran, and he received the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. When Lane wasn’t serving our country, he loved going golfing and hunting, taking care of his farm, and spending time with his dog, Dude. He was a very involved member of the First Baptist Church since 1970, a Mason 32°, York Rite, and a member of the Lion’s Club. Lane’s number one joy in life was God and his family. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Lane is preceded in death by his parents, Murphy and Sara Smith. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Elizabeth Smith; two sons, Megan Smith, Jr (Judy) and Bruce Smith (Denise); one daughter, Hollie Smith Mangrum (Scott); three grandsons, Dalton Smith, Murphy Smith, and Conner Mangrum; one granddaughter, Jordan Mangrum.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Lane’s name to the First Baptist Church Finish Line, 1006 Hillsboro Blvd, Manchester, TN 37355.

3/20/20– Billy Wayne Long
Mr. Billy Wayne Long, 73, passed away, Friday March 20, 2020 at the Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He was born in Lake County, Tennessee on July 31, 1946 to Woodrow and Hazel Sadler Long who preceded him in death along with his daughters, Libby and Denise Long.
He owned and operated Coffee County Recycling and had worked at Batesville
Casket Company and M Tec. He was a graduate of Obion County High School.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Holt Long; daughter, Melissa Sartain,
Oak Ridge, TN; brother, Roy Long, Martin, TN; sisters, Marzell Parish, Shaw
Town, TN, Mamie Smith, Union City, TN, Shirley Coursey, Union City, TN,
Tamara Cavness, Ashland City, TN and Darla Bondurant, Union City, TN;
grandchildren, Brett Oakley, Christin, Jordon and Allison Ballard; great
grandchildren, Adelynn Ballard and Peyton Womack; several nieces and
nephews.
A memorial service is planned for a later date and will be announced.

Remy Beau Clark, passed this life on Friday, March 20, 2020 at
Tennova-Harton Hospital in Tullahoma. Remy was the son of David and
Jennifer Clark of Lynchburg. No services are scheduled.

Andy was born in Biloxi, MS, the son of William “Bill” Lemons and Sandra “Sandy” Head. He was a machinist for Martin Machine before his passing. When Andy was younger, he enjoyed fishing and computer games. He was very intelligent, enjoyed reading and flying, and loved learning and watching documentaries about World War II. Andy was friendly with everyone he met, and he never came across a stranger. In 2011, Andy met the love of his life, Candace, and they have been together ever since. He was a loving husband, son, father, and brother.
Andy is preceded in death by one son, Noah Swann. He is survived by his father, William “Bill” Clark Lemons (Sandy); mother, Sandra “Sandy” F. 3/20/20– Ormond Lavern “Vern” Dunkin
Ormond Lavern “Vern” Dunkin, age 89, passed peacefully at home in Hillsboro with his family on Tuesday, March 17, 2020. Vern was born to Ormond M. and Beatrice Mabel Ussery Dunkin on July 18, 1930, in rural Lamar County, Alabama, near Melborne.
At age 20, Vern enlisted in the Air Force, serving from 1950-1954, rising to be the chief mechanic on the B-36 aircraft and was honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant. While stationed at Fort Worth, Vern was introduced to his future bride of 60 years, Joanne McLendon, by his bunkmate, her brother, Allen. On January 10, 1954, Vern and Joanne were married and began their life together in Marietta, Georgia, where he worked at Lockheed. Vern graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. Vern then came to Tennessee to work at AEDC, retiring after 31 years. He was a hard worker, a dedicated father, and a longtime member of First Baptist Church, serving over the years as a deacon, finance committee chairman, nursery volunteer, and teacher. He loved fishing, birdwatching, and working in his vegetable garden. He also really enjoyed telling tall tales and reading letters from his family. Alongside close relatives, he and his wife enjoyed travelling together, visiting states all across the United States. Most recently, he enjoyed sharing a meal at the Coffee Café with fellow airplane enthusiasts, Dorman and John.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Joanne McLendon Dunkin, his sister, Bernice D McKenzie, and his brother, George Dunkin. Survivors include three children, Jan Denise Dunkin of Hillsboro, Tenn., Mac Dunkin of Ecuador, South America, and Lori Dunkin Dunn of Hillsboro, Tenn; two grandchildren, Rachel Noreen and her husband Kevin of Findlay, Ohio, and David Dunn and his wife, Jaclyn of Sydney, Australia. Also surviving are a brother, Glen Dunkin and wife, Donnie of Blytheville, Arkansas, beloved in-laws, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made in Memory of Mr. Dunkin to North American Missions, c/o First Baptist Church, 1006 Hillsboro Blvd., Manchester, TN 37355.
Funeral services for Mr. Dunkin will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2020, at First Baptist Church in Manchester with Dr. Brenton Cox officiating. Interment will follow at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2020, at Ebenezer Methodist Cemetery in the Fernbank Community of Lamar County, Alabama.

Funeral services for Ms. Jo Lynn Longstreth, age 62 of Manchester, will be conducted on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Ms. Longstreth passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at St. Thomas Midtown in Nashville, TN.
Jo Lynn was born on August 7, 1957 in Auburn, Alabama to the late Chas L. Cosminsky, Jr. and JoAnne Haddock Cosminsky. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Manchester. Jo Lynn was employed by Rutherford County Schools as a Technical Support Specialist. She loved music, trivia and being with her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Raymond L. Cosminsky; sister, Cam W. Cosminsky. Survived by her son, Drew Longstreth; daughters, Holly Longstreth, Miranda Longstreth Kenneally; brother, Chris Cosminsky; her beloved nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Trixie.
