Anita Joyce Bogle

Anita Joyce Bogle was preceded in death by her father, Marlin Baker; her mother, Florence Mayes Bakers; her husband, Lonnie D. Bogle; her brother, Kenneth “Buddy” Baker; and her brother Wayne Baker.

She was survived by her son, Jerry Marlin Reed (Annette); her son, Larry Alton Reed (Jaelynn); her granddaughter, Felicia Joyce Reed (Torry); her grandson, Justin Alton Reed (Jenny); her grandson, Cameron Taylor Reed (Brianna); her granddaughter, Amanda Nicole Neighbors (Boyd); her great-granddaughter, Kara Nicole Reed; her great-grandson, Gavin Davis Reed; her great-grandson, Tyler Jaxon Reed; her great-grandson, Hudson Taylor Reed; her great-grandson, William Victor neighbors; her sister, Sammie Davie; and her sister, Agnes Parker.

Anita was a member of Woodbury Baptist Church. When she moved to Manchester, she always enjoyed going to church wherever her children were going. She enjoyed her family more than anything. Her family was her pride and joy! She loved gardening and sewing in her spare time. She hated cooking! We will miss Anita more than anything in this world, but we hold on to the face that we know we will meet again! Love you to our Mom and Nanny, which were the only two names she went by! You are missed and loved so deeply. Until we meet again!

5/2/20– Lillian Gaye Bailey

Lillian Gaye Bailey of Tullahoma passed this life on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at NHC Tullahoma at the age of 76. Mrs. Bailey was born in Guntersville, AL to the late J.B. and Katie Baugh Moore. During her life, Mrs. Bailey worked as a seamstress at TN Apparel. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Wilford Bailey, and two brothers, Kenneth and Doyle Moore. She is survived by two sons, James Gregory Bailey and his wife, Terri, and Christopher Scott Bailey and his wife, Amy; four grandchildren, Jackson W, Cody M, Clay V, and Lexi Caroline Bailey; two sisters, Shirly Townsend, and Peggy Brandon and her husband Thomas; and sister-in-law Alicea Moore. Family services will take place Saturday, May 2nd with burial to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Garden. 5/1/20– Maybelle Reynolds

Maybelle Reynolds of Huntland passed this life on Tuesday, April 28, 2020
at her residence at the age of 89.  Graveside services are scheduled on
Friday, May 1, 2020 at 2 PM at Moore Memorial Cemetery in Huntland.

A native of Valley Head, AL, she was the daughter of the late Thurman and
Edith Crow Haney. She was a member of the New Covenant Outreach Church in
Huntland and had worked for twenty-six years at Bestway Grocery in Huntland.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin
Reynolds; son, Stephen Buckner Reynolds; step-mother, Nellie Haney;
brothers, Austin, Aure and Gordon Haney and sisters, Eula Cooper, Cecil
Troxtell, Irene Porter, Jean Redford and Vera Dedaux.

Mrs. Reynolds is survived by sons, Gary, Bruce, Brian and Ronald Reynolds;
daughter, Debby Reynolds Gamble; grandchildren, Travis and Troy Gamble,
Austin, Patty, Gary Wayne and Hope Reynolds, Faith Hill and Tiffiany
Tendal; twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Lonnie Alvoid “Al” Clouse

Mr. Lonnie Alvoid “Al” Clouse, age 84, of Tullahoma passed from this life on Tuesday, April 28, 2020, in Murfreesboro, TN.

Al was born on March 25, 1936, in Manchester, TN, the son of the late William and Lena Clouse. He was a United States Army Veteran and a member of Highland Hills Church of Christ. Al loved to travel, he was a singer/songwriter, poet, and actor. He was an amazing salesman, manager, and public speaker. Al was the toughest man his son ever knew. He was a loving brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

In addition to his parents, Al is also preceded in death by one brother, Lloyd Clouse; one sister, Nancy Kay Elam. He is survived by his son, David Clouse (Diana); two brothers, Wayne Clouse and Ron Clouse; two grandchildren, Michael Bryan Ferrence, Sr. and Katelynn Marie Clouse-Jackson; five great-grandchildren, Fabian Jackson, Kaylee Jackson, Gabriella Jackson, Michael Bryan Ferrence, Jr., and Bryson Chase Ferrence.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Al’s honor at a later date.

Anne Bramblett King

King, Anne Bramblett of Tullahoma passed this life on Friday, April 24, 2020 at NHC Healthcare at the age of 79. Mrs. King was born in Nashville to the late William P. and Mary McKelvey Bramblett. She was a member of the Shelbyville High School graduating class of 1959, and was an active member of the Class of ’59 Alumni. In addition to her parents, Mrs. King is preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Lawrence Calatrello, and second husband, Gayle King. She is survived by two sons, Christopher Calatrello and his wife Holly of Tullahoma, and Stephen Calatrello and his wife Jennifer of Athens, AL; one brother, John Bramblett and his wife Linda of Huntsville, AL; five grandchildren, Thomas (Annie), Jack (Miranda), Annie, Henry, and Benjamin Calatrello; nieces, Ena Shea Bramblett Kohler and Alexandra Bramblett Burlason; and a host of extended family members. A graveside service at Hollywood Cemetery in Wartrace will be announced at a later date. W. Arland Casey

Mr. W. Arland Casey, 87 of Manchester passed away
Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at his home in Manchester.  He attended the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Mr. Casey was a Korean War
Veteran and worked as a machinist, mechanic, a school bus driver, farmer
and served as a house parent at Tennessee Preparatory School and Tennessee
Baptist Children’s Home. He was an ordained deacon for over forty years at
the first Baptist Church in Manchester, the First Baptist Church in
Lewisburg and Judson Baptist Church in Brentwood, TN.

Mr. Casey was born in Shady Grove, TN to the late Jesse Bryan and Mary Neil
Harrison Casey.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by
his brothers Donald, Winfred, Glenn, and Jesse Bryan Casey JR.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years Judy Bell Casey; Son Steve Casey
(Anna Claire) of Pulaski, TN; Daughters Linda Foresman (Mike) and Patricia
Casey of Manchester; Grandchildren Tara Boyd (Jason), Adam Casey (Melissa),
Andrew Pope (Katy), Ben Pope, Laura Thorn (Elliot), Emily Wrisner, and
Charles Foresman (Lisa), Jennifer Foresman; 8 great grandchildren and
several nieces and nephews.

Services will be graveside Tuesday April 28, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Shady
Grove Cemetery with military honors. Visitation for family and close
friends will be Monday at Central Funeral Home from 4:00-8:00 PM.

Bessie Marie Wiseman Teal Bowling

Mrs. Bessie Marie Wiseman Teal Bowling, 78, passed
away Friday April 24, 2020 at her home.  She was born in North Liberty,
Indiana on October 5, 1941 to Vernon VanRenselaer Davis and Viola Pearl
Strieby Davis who preceded her in death along with her husbands, Woodrow W.
Teal and Emmett Haberlin Bowling; sisters, Rowena Frances Warble, Shelby
Jean Bloss and Evelyn Mae Geaugh; brothers, Norman Eugene Davis, Leroy V.
Davis and Robert R. Davis; daughter, Bess Marie Connell; granddaughter,
Jackalyn Nicole Fults; great grandchildren, Terrell Williams and Bradley J.
Williams.

She was a member of the Mount Ararat Baptist Church at Hoodoo.  She loved
music, singing karaoke at the VFW Post 4188 and dancing, guitars, making
karaoke cds, records, cassettes, dvds and cd music.  She enjoyed the bands
that came to the Senior Center and Monday night music.  Most of all she
loved her big family and her late husbands.

She is survived by her sons, Anthony (Deneene), Steven (Torie) and David
(Robin) Wiseman; daughters, Bridgett Sue Shaw, Cheryl (Joel) Layne, Deborah
J. (D.J.) Siebers, Crystal (Lee) Evitt, Chasity (Gustavo) Atala and
Sunshine (Jeff) Teal; step-daughters, Tammy R. (Jerry Lee) Utter and
Lenetta Ann Bowling; step-son  , Robert A. Bowling; sisters, Ruby P.
Jeffries, Linda L. Holland; brothers, Nelson (Janice) Davis and Vernon V.
Davis Jr.; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great
grandchildren, nieces and nephews; best friend, Joyce Davis.

Funeral services with the family will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday in the
Central Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Virgil Alford officiating with a

Lola Catherine Riddle Carpenter

Lola Catherine Riddle Carpenter of Springfield, Tennessee passed this life on Wednesday April 22, 2020 at her home.

She was born February 2, 1919 to Joe and Etta Riddle from Franklin County, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by husband, Elmer Carpenter; son, Curtis Carpenter; son-in-law, Robert Murphy; granddaughter, Connie Carlton Dorrsett; three brothers and five sisters.

She is survived by daughters, Barbara (Collen) Carlton and Frances (Robert) Murphy, son, Larry (Cheryl) Carpenter, sister, Johnnie Insel, eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and three great- great grandchildren.

Lola was a faithful servant of Jehovah God and His Son Jesus Christ. She was baptized in 1953. Her greatest comfort was knowing she would be resurrected to a paradise earth under God’s Kingdom rule.

Private graveside service is scheduled as well as a memorial service to be held at a later date.

Curtis Wayde Neal

Curtis Wayde Neal was born on March 4, 1958, to the late Clayton “Tuffy” and Betty Boswell Neal of Moore County, Tennessee. Curtis left his earthly home on April 23, 2020. He was proceeded in death by his parents; his nephews, Chad and Joel Rogers; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is survived by his sister, Brenda (Jerry) Rogers and brother, Gary (Mary) Neal; nieces, Amy (Chuck) Dodson, Melissa (Charles) Ridge; nephews, Pete (Jaylynn) Neal, Josh (Mindy) Rogers, Stephen (Stephanie) Neal, and Andy (Rachel) Neal; numerous great nieces, nephews, and cousins.

To know Curtis was to meet an angel on earth. He never knew a stranger and greeted everyone with his infectious smile and hugs. He loved going to church, being with His family, watching the Weather Channel, thunderstorms and his “school work.”

As a son of a WWII veteran, Curtis was raised for a love of his country. He was the happiest holding the American Flag.

Curtis touched so many lives in a way that not many can. He only saw the good in people, taught us how to love; and no matter what we looked like or believed in, his love was pure.

If you were lucky enough to be loved by Curtis, your life was forever changed.

A private graveside service will be held, as well as a celebration of life at a later date.

Peggy Ann Ballard

Ms. Peggy Ann Ballard, age 75, of Normandy, Tn., passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2020.
No further services are scheduled at this time.
Preceded in death by her parents, Harold Neuman and Marjorie Hall, Peggy was most proud of the fact that she had been a truck driver for over fifteen years. She was quoted saying,” I have been to all the continental states, just waiting on a bridge to Hawaii.”
She is survived by her four best friends, Judy Puckett, Kathleen Potter, Cindy Hullen and Ebra Owen.
