Liam Alejandro Mejia-Javier

Liam Alejandro Mejia-Javier, passed this life on Monday, May 25, 2020 at
Tennova-Harton Hospital in Tullahoma. Liam was the son of Daniel Mejia and
Heidy Javier of Decherd. A graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 PM on
Thursday, May 8, 2020 at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by grandparents, Ismael Javier
of New Orleans, Melania Rodriguez of Winchester, Fermim Mejia of El
Salvador, Maria Rodriguez of LaVergne; brother, Aaron Lopez; sister, Hayley
Mejia; aunts, Karla Javier of North Carolina and Bessy Javier of North
Carolina, uncles, Christian Javier of New Orleans and Junior Javier of
Winchester.

Linda Sue Bush

Mrs. Linda Sue Bush, age 71 of Manchester, passed away on Sunday, May 24
after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May
30, 2020, at 10 AM in the Manchester Funeral Home chapel with Bro. John
Bush officiating. Burial will follow in the Welker cemetery. Visitation
with the family will be held on Friday, May 29, from 4 – 8 PM at the
funeral home.

Mrs. Linda was born on October 30, 1948, to the late R.T. and Ethel Fisher
Arnold in Winchester, TN. She was a self-employed beautician and co-owner
of the Hair Kuttery in Manchester. She was a member of the Lumley Stand
Church of Christ. Mrs. Linda loved to crochet and color.

Mrs. Linda is survived by five stepsons, Michael, Howell Jr., and Chuck
Alford, Ralph Bush, Jr., and John Bush; seven step daughters, Diane Griggs,
Melissa Espinoza, Tonya Givens, Carolyn Stanley, Janet Forde, Jo Anne
Malone, and Melissa Neel; two brothers, Richard and David Arnold; two
sisters, Frankie Reynolds and Bobbie Brothers; two sisters of the heart,
Betty McInturff and Sherry Grosch; 41 grandchildren and 38
great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.

Frank Wesley Cope

Mr. Frank Wesley Cope, 85, beloved husband, father,
and grandpa, went to be with the Lord May 23, 2020. He enjoyed 85 years of
life, and 65 years of marriage to his cherished wife, Luella Cope.

Frank was born to Venus and Annie-Mary Cope December 7, 1934 in
McMinnville, Tennessee. He grew up on a farm where he learned to appreciate
the simple things in life.

Frank married his sweetheart Luella at 17 years old in 1955.

Above all was a hardworking man of God. He loved to sing and dedicated
himself to song leading at every congregation he attended. Frank was also a
gardener and gained attention for beautiful flowers and vegetables in every
home he lived in. Some his produce made it into local newspapers.

His grandchildren will always remember him for his great big laugh and
belly he would allow them to play like a drum when they were small.

Frank leaves behind a loving family in his wife Luella, two sisters, Peggy
and Lil, his children, Frank Jr., Jeffery, Timothy, Mark and Kimberly, as
well as grandchildren, Sara, Emily, Josh, Krista, Jenna, Angelica, Caleb,
Sophia, Mark Jr., Aaron, Mike, Frankie and many great grandchildren.

His funeral is open to the public and will be held Friday May 29, 2020 at
2:00 PM in the chapel of Central Funeral Home with Minister Ralph Hart
officiating with interment to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery in

Kathryn Odell Dye

Kathryn Odell Dye, 91, of Elkhart, IN, died Sunday, May 24, 2020, at Greenhouse Village in Goshen, IN.

Kathryn was born October 29, 1928, in Manchester, TN, to Robert and Julia (Jarrell) Mahaffa. On November 20, 1948, she married David M. Dye, Jr. and he passed away on September 20, 1991. Kathryn was a homemaker.

Kathryn is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a sister, Alvine Bush. She is survived by her daughter, Delores Jill Dye of Elkhart.

A graveside service for Kathryn will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 29, 2020, at Adam Duncan Cemetery in Coffee County, TN.

Margaret Elizabeth Pearson Long

Margaret Elizabeth Pearson Long, age 96, of Hillsboro, Tennessee, passed
away on the 23rd of May, 2020 at the NHC Healthcare, Clinton, South
Carolina.  She was a homemaker on the Long Centennial Farm as well as
working a number of positions outside the home, including a baker at the
Owl Restaurant in Manchester and at the Cafeteria in AEDC, a
computer-programmer at the Hat Corporation in Cowan, a bookkeeper for the
Western Auto in Manchester and the Manchester Water Department.  She was a
lifelong member of the Prairie Plains Church of Christ.  She was an
excellent cook and her homemade angel-food cake, chess pie and caramel cake
were always in demand.  She also produced beautiful handwork items like
quilts, blankets, doilies, table cloths and sweaters which she would make
by quilting, crocheting or knitting.

Margaret will be remembered for her devotion to her family.  She was born
January 15, 1924, to the late Felix Marks and Lou Alma Cash Pearson of
Hillsboro.  She was the eldest daughter of a family of 10 children.  While
being a stellar student, she dropped out of high school to help rear her
siblings when her mother became wheelchair-bound.  She continued in that
role and became the Matriarch of the Pearson family.  She is preceded in
death by her husband of nearly 70 years, William Albro Long, half-sister
Zora (Wesley) Raines, sisters Ora Alma (R L) Smith, Katherine (Joe)
Vandergriff, and Betty Jean Pearson; brothers F. M. Jr.( Dot), John
W.(Donalene), Kenneth (Wilma)  and Marion (Jane).  She is survived by a
brother, Ellis Pearson (Gayle), of Hixson, Tennessee, and sons Charles Long
and wife Andrea of Clinton, SC, Bill Long and wife Donna of Loudon, TN, and
Ronnie Long and wife Betty of Greenwood, SC; eight grandchildren; twelve
great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and
nephews who were especially loved.  She will be fondly missed by her
special friend Margaret Smith and other friends and neighbors in the Coffee
County area, as well as the caring staff and residents of the Clinton NHC
and friends she met while living there for the past year and one-half.

A file-by visitation, utilizing appropriate distancing, will be held at the
Prairie Plains Church of Christ beginning at 1 pm, Wednesday, May 27,
2020.  A graveside service and burial will follow at approximately 2 pm in
the cemetery with Brother Billy Robison officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Prairie Plains Church of
Christ Building Fund.

Marie Eaton Hatfield

Mrs. Marie Eaton Hatfield, 89, passed away, Friday
May 22, 2020 at the Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro,
Tennessee.  She was born in Tullahoma, Tennessee on September 1, 1930 to
William Paul Eaton and Willie Dell Gordon Eaton who preceded her in death
along with her husband, Thomas Jefferson Hatfield; brothers, William and
Earl Eaton.

She was a member of the New Union Church of Christ for 61 years and
attended the Main Street Church of Christ.  She worked at Powers Farm Store
and Manchester Building Supply and then cared for her husband as his health
declined.

She is survived by her daughter, Signe (Aaron) Williams; sister, Annette
(Dale) Smith; grandchildren, Matt (Paige) Wheeler and Sean (Kelli) Wheeler;
great grandchildren, Kara, Alan, Kasen and Weston Wheeler.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday in the Central Funeral Home chapel
with Minister Alan Adams officiating with burial to follow in the Concord

Gino Harris 5/15/2020

Gino Harris of Tullahoma passed this life on Friday, May 15, 2020 at the
age of 50.  No services are scheduled.

A native of Tullahoma, he was the son of the late Martin Robert Harris and
the late Marie Uselton. He enjoyed being outdoors, hiking and fishing.

He is survived by daughter, Stefanie Pruitt; brothers, Marty, Mark and
Timothy Harris and sister, Stefanie Smith.

Richard “Max” D. Maxwell

Richard “Max” D. Maxwell of Estill Springs passed this life on Monday, May
18, 2020 at Tennova – Harton Hospital at the age of 64.  Funeral services
are scheduled for Saturday, May 23, 2020 at 1 PM at Daves-Culbertson
Funeral Home with burial to follow at Mt. View Cemetery in
McMinnville.  Visitation
with the family will be from 11 AM until the service time.

Mr. Maxwell, a native of McMinnville, was a U S Army veteran and served as
an Airborne Ranger during the Vietnam war. Mr. Maxwell was a mechanic and
was trained as a transmission specialist. He loved being outdoors and
enjoyed fishing, camping and boating. He enjoyed reading and learning and
especially had an interest in astrology, physics, space and stars.  “He was
a very special person”

He is survived by brother, Gilbert “Butch” Maxwell (Mary) of McMinnville;
cousins, Dean Womack of Crosby, TX; Donna Brown, Anita Gerdom (George) and
Linda Wanamaker (Jim), all of McMinnville and many nieces, nephews and
friends.

Walter Allen Shelton Jr.

Mr. Walter Allen Shelton, Jr., age 75 of Wartrace, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2020, at the VA Healthcare hospital in Nashville, TN after an extended illness. As per Mr. Shelton’s request, he will be cremated, and the family will have a graveside memorial service at a later date.

Mr. Shelton was born on February 7, 1945, to the late Walter Allen, Sr. and Hazel Parker Shelton in Wartrace, TN. He served his country in the United States Air Force and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Shelton worked many years in heating and air before his retirement.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Shelton is preceded in death by two daughters, Kimberly Ann Hicks and Carrie Ann Shelton, and by one brother, Larry Shelton. He is survived by his two sons, Walter Allen Shelton, III and Matthew Allen Shelton and his wife, Tiffany; three grandchildren, Bryce and Wesley Shelton, and Summer Mossbarger; three brothers, Terry, Roger, and Marcie Shelton; four sisters, Billie Jean Arnold, Elaine Blackburn, Patricia Baker, and Phyllis Franklin; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Donnie Wayne Sartain

Donnie Wayne Sartain, 68, passed away Tuesday, May19, 2020. He was born on May 21, 1951 to Joe and Waldean Givens Sartain who preceded him in death.

He worked as an electrician.

He Was preceded in death by his sister Betty Jo Sartain Buchanan. He is
survived by his niece Carla Bloom and great-niece Erin Bloom

Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 21 at 5:00 PM at Bethel
Cemetery in Pelham, Tennessee. Procession will leave Central Funeral,
