David J. Shearer

David J. Shearer of Taft passed this life on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at the age of 80. A Graveside Service will be held Monday, November 2, 2020 at 1PM at Kirkland Cemetery.
Mr. Shearer was born in Kewanee, Illinois to the late Clifford Shearer and Betty Seifert Shearer. He was a United States Army Veteran and a graduate of the University of Phoenix. He found a deep interest in computers and went on to teach Computer Science at Blackhawk University in Illinois. Mr. Shearer also enjoyed his weekly hikes, playing ping pong, and reading.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Shearer of Taft; sons, Russell Shearer (Tina) of Peoria, IL and Christopher Stevens (Lesia) of Taft; daughter, Dawn Tibbals (Tim) of Knoxville; sisters, Dorothy Merriman and Karen Arnold; as well as seven grandchildren.

Funeral services for Dee Anna Sue Wilbourne, age 58 of Hazel Green, will be conducted Saturday, 2PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Parks officiating. Mrs. Wilbourne passed away Tuesday at Hospice Family Care in Huntsville. She loved animals, gardening, bird watching. She was a hard worker, loved her job, her co-workers and met no strangers.

Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Wilbourne; two daughters, Jennifer Burroughs and Dana Hillard; two sons, Cody Wilbourne and Greg Bates; one sister, Sherry Wainwright; one brother, Thomas Morton, four grandchildren, Christopher, Wayne, Samara and Raiden; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as a host of loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Friday 6-8 PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home.

Vivian Connie Ford Brandon

Mrs. Vivian Connie Ford Brandon, age 73, of
Manchester, TN, passed from this life on October 24, 2020, in Smyrna, TN.

Mrs. Brandon was born December 25, 1946 in Chattanooga, TN, as a coal
miner’s daughter to the late Claude E. and Mary H. Ford. When she was
sixteen, she married her late husband Alvin Henry Brandon Jr. They lived
out their vows until death parted them on January 15, 1989. She was a
retired business owner of Treasure Island Consignment Store.

Mrs. Brandon was of the Baptist faith and attended the Little Hurrican
Church. The love of her life was God and her family. She loved bowling,
country music, going to concerts, dancing, her animals, riding the
countryside and talking about the good old days but most of all spending
time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brandon
is preceded in death by a sister, Claudette Ford; husband, Alvin Henry
Brandon and her loving son, Jimmy Wayne Brandon.

Mrs. Brandon is survived by her son, Alvin Rickey (Rhonda); daughters,
Vivian Darlene (Jimmy) Cargile; Angel Rose (Jeff); her companion of 20
years, Benton Green; eight grandchildren, Brandy Connie (David) Simmons,
Rickey Jr., Amanda, Dakota (Rachel), Mary, Keith Monroe and Kayla (Cody)
Hill; thirteen great grandchildren, Bradley “Squirt”, Chloe, Kaylee, Marie,
Brentley, Karsyn, Baby Wayne, Lincoln, Sophie, April, Hunter, Leighton, and
Lynden, all of Manchester, TN.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, October 29, 2020, from 4:00pm
until 8:00pm at Central Funeral Home in Manchester, TN. Funeral services
will be conducted on Friday, October 30, 2020, at 2:00pm from the chapel of
Central Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Brandon Family Cemetery in
Manchester, TN.

With honor, her pallbearers are Joey Bradford, David Simmons, Tyler
Gilliland, Big Tom Johnson, Larry Rollins, Richard Spencer, and James Gains.

Dwight J. Hulsey

Dwight J. Hulsey of Tullahoma, passed this life on Monday, October 26,
2020 at his residence at the age of 66 years. Graveside services will be
held at Maplewood Cemetery on Friday, October 30, 2020 at 3:30 PM.

A native of Coffee County, he was the son of the late Ralph Hubert and
Jewel Christine Russell Hulsey.  He enjoyed working in his yard, fixing
lawn mowers, fishing and bowling.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Billy
Ray, Jerry and Bobby Hulsey and sisters, Brenda Sue Bailey and Angela
Christine Hulsey.

Mr. Hulsey is survived by sister, Linda Hulsey of Tullahoma.

In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorial donations be made in
his honor to Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.

Charles A McHugh

Charles A McHugh of Normandy, passed this life on Monday, October 26, 2020
at Tennova-Harton Hospital at the age of 80 years. Private graveside
services will be held at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens and Memorial Services
will be scheduled at a later time.*

*A native of Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Charles J. and Elsie
Poplar McHugh. He was a U S Air Force veteran and a member of the Bible
Methodist Church in Manchester.  He enjoyed reading and studying history.
He was a very patriotic American citizen. *

*In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Ann McHugh.*

*Mr. McHugh is survived by three sons, Chip McHugh of Normandy, Dennis
McHugh (Lori) of FL and David McHugh (Treva) of NC; daughter, Cheryl Reed
of NC; sisters, Elsie Karl of CA, Louise Hope of PA and Nancy Steenbuck
(Wendell) of NY and six grandchildren.

James “Jimmy” Green

James “Jimmy” Green passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 25, 2020. Jimmy made a friend anywhere he went. He impacted many lives in Beechgrove and beyond. Jimmy was an avid farmer. He poured his blood, sweat, and tears into his land. Family and friends are what he lived for. He would help anyone in need. If you knew him, you loved him and all his jokes. His dog, Randy, and his cat, Tiger, were two of his best companions. Jimmy loved nature and appreciated all creatures. Jimmy was retired for many years from being a tool and dye maker at Batesville Casket Company.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his mother, Opal Clark; father, Lillard Goodloe Green; brother, Lillard Goodloe Green, Jr.; niece Mary Anne Josey. He is survived by his only daughter, Tonia McCutcheon; grandchildren, Kayla (Kateland) Gibbs, Taylor McCutcheon, and Benjamin McCutcheon. Jimmy served as a military policeman in the Army and was a Vietnam veteran. He loved his country. He spent his younger years learning to care for cattle with his grandparents. He truly is a person that will never be forgotten.

Funeral services for Jimmy will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 30, 2020, at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Gilley Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 29, 2020, at the funeral home.

Terri Lynn Bandy

Terri Lynn Bandy, of Normandy, passed this life on Monday, October 19th, 2020 at Tennova Healthcare-Shelbyville at the age of 63. Terri was born in Columbus, Ohio to the late William and Maxine Sanders Blackwell. During her life she worked as a Medical Transcriptionist with Total Basic Transcriptions. Terri loved to ride motorcycles, sew, go to the beach and to be with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Bandy; two sons, Ryan (Laura) Bandy, and Nathaniel Bandy; one daughter, Leslie (Jason) Lusk; and three grandchildren, Laila, Karlee, and Cash. A celebration of Terri’s life will be held on Saturday, October 31st, 2020 from 12:00pm-4:00pm at Firefly Pointe at Twin Creeks Marina and Resort, 91 Slip-A Way, Winchester, Tennessee 37398. In lieu of flowers, Terri’s family has asked that donations be made to either the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline or National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.  Kilgore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Margaret Wolfe Jensen Jr

Margaret Wolfe Jensen Jr of Lynchburg passed this life on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at her residence at the age of 76. There are no services scheduled at this time.
Mrs. Jensen, was born in Stubenville, Ohio to the late Axel Jensen and Margaret Wolfe Jensen. She retired in 2017 from the Jack Daniel’s Distillery Bottle Shop and visited with her former co-workers whenever she could. She enjoyed spending her time reading and watching television.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Janet Simms.
She is survived by her sons, John Glassmeyer of Woodbury and Dale Glassmeyer of Tullahoma; brothers, Axel Jensen (Norma) of Shelbyville, Dick Jensen (Faye) of South Bend, Indiana, John Jensen of Shelbyville; grandson J. Michael Karrington-Glassmeyer of Woodbury.

Bobby Ray Langford

Bobby Ray Langford of Hillsboro, passed this life on Friday, October 23,
2020 at his residence at the age of 80. No services are scheduled at this
time.

A native of Madison, TN, he was the son of the late Fletcher Hollis and
Mattie Sue Gregory Langford.  He was a member of First Baptist Church of
Manchester and enjoyed raising game roosters, goats, cats and dogs.  He had
lots of friends and made friends everywhere he went.  He also enjoyed going
for rides.

He is survived by wife, Mary Jo Langford of Hillsboro; son, Jerry Langford
of Hillsboro; daughter, Mary Susan Nichols of Hillsboro; brother, Paul
Langford (Becky) of Hillsboro; sister, Francis Dowe Jones (Benny) of
Manchester and two grandchildren, Bryant Langford of Hillsboro and Brittany
Nichols of Hillsboro..

Everett Little

Funeral services for Everett Little, age 95 of Manchester, will be conducted on Sunday, October 25, 2020 in the CCFC. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill MG. Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday from 10 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Mr. Little passed away on Wednesday at his home.

 

Mr. Little was born on October 1, 1925, to the late John and Mary Alice Mullins Little in Pikeville, KY. He served his country in the United States Marine Corp during World War II.  He loved playing games with his family and gardening.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Little is preceded in death by his loving wife of 72 years, Anna Lee Goode Little, who passed away in September of 2017. He is survived by his sons, Larry Little, Mike Little, and Ken Little and his wife, Carolyn; grandchildren Kenny, John, Darren, Shannon, Kaleigh, and Anthony; great grandchildren, Bailee, Everett, Jayden, Carter, and Audrey; daughter-in-law, Sandi Jones, one brother-in-law, Gary Goode; numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
