Missing Pennsylvania Girl found in Tullahoma–Local Man Arrested
The 15-year-old was located by Tullahoma Police Wednesday morning with Nathan Black after receiving a missing person report that the two might be in Tennessee.
Tullahoma police charged Black, 27, with felony counts of statutory rape and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He is being held at the Coffee County Jail on $85,000 bond while awaiting a court hearing Nov. 30.
Pennsylvania State police Sgt. Thomas Maher told the Observer-Reporter newspaper that the girl and Black allegedly met on social media.
Winston Brooks, a spokesman for the Tullahoma Police Department, said authorities were able to locate the girl after her cellphone provider found her signal in the city.
“The girl is safe. She was taken to the police station to await the arrival of her parents,” Brooks said.
Authorities here are still deciding whether to charge Black of West Lincoln St, Tullahoma in Pennsylvania.
Another Day brings Two Arrests in 2nd Murder in Grundy County
Winton was reported missing back in March, and his body was discovered in a remote wooded area in October near Highway 50 and Bess Road.
On Wednesday, November 15, 2017, officers with the Yancey County Sheriff’s Office in North Carolina arrested Donavon Dakota Hargis, 23, and Jamie Nunley, 40, both of Grundy County, Tennessee. Both individuals were wanted from Grundy County, Tennessee on charges of First Degree Murder and Felony Abuse of a Corpse.
Officers with the Yancey County Sheriff’s Office received a request for assistance from the Grundy County, TN Sheriff’s Office regarding an ongoing homicide investigation in their county. They had obtained indictments on two suspects in this case and had information to believe those two suspects were currently in Yancey County, possibly somewhere on US Highway 19W.
Officers took both suspects into custody without incident.

Another Old Scam Hits Coffee Countians Again
The scammers call an individual sometimes poising as a deputy from the sheriff’s department. “They say that they are a deputy and that the person they are calling has failed to show up for jury duty,” the sheriff said. The fake deputy then tells their intended victim that there is a warrant for their arrest, but to keep from being arrested they can pay a fine and the warrant will go away.
The sheriff says, “They tell their victim to get Green Dot card and call them and give them the number off of it.” “They use the Green Dot numbers like a credit card and can use the money from the cards.”
The sheriff stated that the sheriff’s department does not call people and ask for money in any way.
Several people have fallen for the scam around the country and have paid the scammers. These types of calls apparently have also been taking place in other surrounding counties as well.

Five Grundy County Students Charged with Attempted Aggravated Rape Appear in Court
The five football players; a freshman, three juniors and a senior are accused of trying to rape a 15-year-old teammate in the Grundy County High School football field house sometime before 6 a.m. on Oct. 11.
During court on Wednesday, Coffee County Judge Tim Brock, who is hearing the case, placed a confidentiality order on the case. That means details on what happened at the hearing may be limited.
The original judge in the case, William “Trey” Anderson, recused himself from the case last month, because he had represented one of the teens’ parents as a lawyer in the past.

Titans Set for Thursday Night Football vs. Steelers
The Tennessee Titans (6-3) take a four-game winning streak into Pittsburgh this week. They face the Steelers (7-2) in a nationally televised Thursday night game at Heinz Field (capacity 68,400). Kickoff is scheduled for 7:25 p.m. CST on Nov. 16.
THE BROADCAST
This week’s game will be televised across the country on NFL Network and NBC, including Nashville NBC affiliate WSMV-TV 4. Additionally, the broadcast will stream live on Amazon Prime. Play-by-play announcer Mike Tirico and analyst Cris Collinsworth will call the action, and Heather Cox will report from the sidelines.
The Titans Radio Network, including Thunder Radio will carry the game across the Mid-South with the “Voice of the Titans” Mike Keith, analyst Dave McGinnis, gameday host Rhett Bryan and sideline reporter Jonathan Hutton.
TITANS LOOK TO CONTINUE WINNING STREAK
A victory this week would give the Titans seven wins in their first 10 games of a season for the first time since they won their first 10 games of 2008. It would also give them their first five-game winning streak since 2009.
The Titans’ last three victories have come at the expense of three other AFC North clubs. In consecutive order, they defeated the Cleveland Browns (Oct. 22), Baltimore Ravens (Nov. 5) and Cincinnati Bengals (Nov. 12).
Last week, the Titans used a late fourth-quarter drive led by quarterback Marcus Mariota to beat the Bengals by a final score of 24-20. The Titans never trailed until 5:03 remained on the clock in the fourth quarter, when Andy Dalton’s 70-yard touchdown pass to A.J. Green put the Bengals ahead 20-17. Mariota took charge, engineering a 12-play, 73-yard march that culminated with his seven-yard touchdown pass to running back DeMarco Murray on third-and-goal with 36 seconds remaining. Mariota was credited with his seventh career game-winning drive and his third in the last four games.
Murray, who rushed for two touchdowns in the first half, tied his career high with three total touchdowns. He registered the first game of his career in which he recorded at least two rushing touchdowns and an additional receiving touchdown, and he became only the fifth player in Titans/Oilers history to accomplish the feat. Murray added his name to a list that includes Billy Cannon (twice), George Amundson, Chris Johnson (twice) and Dave Smith.
Defensively, the Titans limited the Bengals to 10 percent on third down and 53 rushing yards. Also, outside linebacker Derrick Morgan became the first Titans player to record two opponent fumble recoveries in a single game since linebacker Colin McCarthy in 2011 (Dec. 4 at Buffalo).
THE STEELERS
Like the Titans, the Steelers enter Thursday night on a four-game winning streak after escaping Indianapolis last week with a 20-17 victory over the Colts. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger completed two touchdown passes in the second half, and Chris Boswell provided the game-winning 33-yard field goal as time expired.
Roethlisberger, a five-time Pro Bowl selection and two-time Super Bowl champion, is in his 14th NFL season. His talented surrounding cast includes the NFL’s top-ranked rusher in 2017, Le’Veon Bell (840 yards), and the league’s leading receiver, Antonio Brown (60 receptions and 882 yards).
Meanwhile, the Steelers defense ranks second overall in 2017 (284.4 yards per game). The unit is 12th against the run (102.7) and second against the pass (181.8).
Mike Tomlin is in his 11th season as the head coach of the Steelers. In his first 10 years on the job, he led the Steelers to the playoffs seven times, including five AFC North titles. In 2016, the Steelers won their division and advanced to the AFC Championship game before falling to the eventual Super Bowl champion New England Patriots.
Thunder Radio will bring you the broadcast over our AM and FM airwaves, beginning with the pregame show at 6:30 PM. Due to NFL broadcast restrictions, Thunder Radio can NOT stream Titans game online or on the Thunder Radio app.
