Dorothy Ann Nipper
Manchester, Tennessee – Mrs. Dorothy Ann Nipper, age 71, passed away on
Monday, August 31, 2020, at her residence in Beechgrove, TN.
Mrs. Nipper was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to her late parents
Gilbert Nathaniel Skipper and Angielene Walker Skipper. She was a retired
supervisor from CK Electronics. Mrs. Nipper was a member of Bible Methodist
Church in Manchester, TN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in
death by her brothers, Gilbert Skipper, II; Donnie Skipper; Jamie Skipper;
Cecil Skipper; and sisters, Judy Jahavapour and Betty Jean Skipper.
Mrs. Nipper is survived by her husband of 56 years, Donnie Nipper; son,
David (Sharon) Nipper; daughter, Michelle (John) Morris; brother, Harry
(Diane) Skipper; sisters, Jane (Raymond) Baker, Mary Alford, and Louise
Chapman; grandchildren, Kelsey (Benjamin) Walker, Kadelyn (Dan) Burns,
Harley (Ashlee) Morris, Emily Nipper, and Annalyn Cooper; great
grandchildren, Elijah, Ezra, Brennen, Rowynn, Oliver, and Sadie.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 3, 2020, from 5:00pm
until 7:00pm at Central Funeral Home in Manchester. Funeral services will
be conducted on Friday, September 4, 2020, at 11:00am from the chapel of
Central Funeral Home with Bro. Tom Watkins officiating. Burial will follow
at Shady Grove Cemetery in Morrison.
Kathleen Anne Houser
Kathleen Anne Houser of Tullahoma passed this life on Tuesday, September 1,
2020 at her residence at the age of 71 years. Funeral Services are
scheduled for Friday, September 4, 2020 at 1 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral
Home with burial to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will
receive friends from 5-8 PM on Thursday, September 3 at Daves-Culbertson
Funeral Home.
Kathleen, a native of Warren, OH, was the daughter of the late Edward and
Betty Hardwick Silva. She was a member of Kings Cross Church and was very
committed to her faith. Kathleen was a teacher. She enjoyed spending time
with her family as well as gardening, decorating and reading. She loved
animals, especially her dog, Penny. She was a member of the Tullahoma
Women’s Club and served as the recording secretary. She was a substitute
teacher in Tullahoma and taught English as a second language at First
Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Len Houser of Tullahoma; daughters, Deborah
Potter (Clay) of Park City, Emily Cox (Jamie) of Nashville and Lindsey
Morgan (Eric) of Tullahoma; grandchildren, Logan Morgan of Manchester,
Haley Morgan (Jeff) of Manchester, Katy Potter of Park City, Jimmy Speegle
(Miranda) of Hermitage and Zoe and Henry Morgan, both of Tullahoma and
great grandchildren, Xavier and Loki Speegle and Harrison Morgan.

Janet Carr McClain Cline
Janet Carr McClain Cline of Nashville, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 26th, 2020, just before midnight. She had liver disease and suffered acute liver failure but now feels the joy of Heaven.
Janet was born January 11, 1948 to Raymond Carr, Jr. and Mazelle Burgess Carr in Dayton, Ohio. She married Cecil McClain in 1968 and had three children. She was remarried to Carl Cline from 2000 to 2014.
Janet is survived by her three children; Shirley Butler, Kent McClain, and Danny McClain. Five grandchildren; Tabitha, Tiffany, Lauren, Jennifer, and Julie. Six great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and her sister, Vicky Carr. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister; Sue Broyles, and brothers Mark, Steve, and John Carr.
Janet graduated Central High School in Nashville, TN and spoke fondly of her high school friends. Janet was known as being one of the neighborhood moms while raising her children. She was creative and enjoyed sewing, baking, art, and spending time with nature and animals. She enjoyed volunteering as home room mom (now called teacher assistant), as a Girl Scout den mom and assisted with both her son’s baseball teams. Janet was a cosmetologist by trade, however; wore many hats even spending time as an over the road truck driver. Janet was adventurous and liked to travel. She loved playing cards and going out to dinner with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
The family will accept visitors on Wednesday, August 19th, at 2:00 pm at Coffee County Funeral Chapel in Manchester, TN. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The American Liver Foundation.

Frances Jacquline Hogan
Frances Jacquline “Jackie” Hogan, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Friday, August 28th, 2020 at her home at the age of 84. Mrs. Hogan was born in Tullahoma to the late Carl and Cora Cunningham Tucker Sr. She was a former member of Rutledge Falls Baptist Church and a current member of College Street Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hogan was preceded in death by her husband Paul Hogan; and one sister, Wilma Jean Tucker. She is survived by her daughters, Sheila Hogan Duke, Janice Hogan Taylor (Richard), and Rhinda Carver (Robert); two brothers, Ralph Tucker (Ruby Jo) and Carl Tucker Jr. (Dorothy); two sisters, Loeda Burton (Marvin), and Barbara Ann Cates; grandchildren, Kenneth Duke, Kelley Graybill (Lloyd), Josh Taylor (Ann), Jeremy Taylor (Sylvia), Rachel Cruse (Heath), Ryan French (Rebecca), and Rocky Thomas Jr. (Savannah); and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Hogan will be held on Tuesday, September 1st, 2020 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2020 at 1:00pm in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Randall Stevens officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, Florida 33131. Mr. Robert Edward “Bob” Leonard
Manchester, Tennessee – Mr. Robert Edward “Bob” Leonard, 84, passed away
Saturday August 29, 2020 at the Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville,
Tennessee. He was born in Sparta, Tennessee on January 26, 1936 to T.L.
Leonard and Mollie Little Leonard who preceded him in death along with his
brother, Charles T. Leonard.
Bob was a member of the Manchester First United Methodist Church serving as
Head Usher for many years. He was a graduate of Auburn University with a
degree in Forestry. He was a Forester with the State of Tennessee for 38
years before his retirement. He was a Member, secretary and two-time
President of the Manchester Rotary Club and 4-time Paul Harris Fellow also
coordinating the fundraisers for Rotary. He loved woodworking and was a
member of the Tennessee Valley Woodworking Club and the Carving Club. He
also attended the University of Tennessee and was a huge Lady Vols fan. Bob
was voted 2019 Manchester Citizen of the Year.
Bob volunteered with the We Care back to school program, The One Day of
Hope Event, and the Good Samaritan program.
He worked with The Boy Scouts of America and Earned his Eagle Scout award.
He is survived by his wife of 51 plus years, Nellie Fritts Leonard; his
loving aunt, Beverly Little of Lewisburg; loving nieces and nephew, great
nieces, and nephews several cousins and friends along with special friends,
Maggie and Inez Smith.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday in the Central Funeral Home
chapel with Rev. Randy Brown and Rev, Neal Glass officiating with burial to
follow in the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Monday at Central Funeral Home, Manchester, Tennessee.
