Funeral services for Ms. Darise P. Anderson, age 88, of Beechgrove, will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at Hoodoo Church in Beechgrove. Burial will follow in Manchester City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the church. Ms. Anderson passed from this life on Thursday, September 3, 2020, at Glen Oaks in Shelbyville, TN.
Allen J Hall
Allen J Hall passed this life on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at the
Manchester Health Care Center at the age of 68 years. Memorial Services
will be scheduled at a later time in New Orleans.
Allen, a native of New Orleans, was the son of the late Elmer and Mary
Allen Hall. He loved talking about politics and spending time with his
grandchildren.
He is survived by two children, Ryan Hall of Metairie, LA and Allicia Hall
(Michael Bush) of Franklin and two grandchildren.

Linda Faye Hobbs Woosley Sisk
Linda Faye Hobbs Woosley Sisk, of Tullahoma, departed this life on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2020 at her home at the age of 68. Linda was born on February 9th, 1952 to the late Bill Hobbs and Ruby Majors Hobbs who survives. Her parents owned Cedar Lane Market in Tullahoma for many years and Linda always enjoyed telling people when asked where she grew up, that in fact, she was raised in the Cedar Lane Market. During her life she worked as the shipping and receiving manager for both Volunteer Engineering and Cleveland Pneumatics. Linda also worked for some time at First National Bank in Tullahoma and sold Mary Kay for many years. She was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School for twenty plus years. She was a devoted member and played an active part in the church. Linda never met a stranger and opened up both her heart and home to many in need. She enjoyed reading, especially her Bible, was an avid University of Tennessee fan, and always looked forward to her monthly luncheons with her friends, the THS class of 1970, and her cousins. Most of all, Linda enjoyed her family and spending time together making life-long memories. She rarely missed an opportunity to support her grandchildren and was often seen in the stands at ballgames and school activities cheering them on. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Bill Hobbs; her husband, Bruce Sisk; one sister, Billie Forsyth; son-in-law, Mike Nix; and brothers-in-law, Anthony Lowhorn and John Forsyth. She is survived by her mother, Ruby Hobbs; two daughters, Susie Rambo (Mark), and Stacey Nix (Terry Pennington); one sister, Ivy Lowhorn; five grandchildren, Maggie and Abbie Rambo and Colton, Carly, and Caroline Nix; nieces, Lacey and Aly Forsyth, and Lexi, Audrey and Ansley Lowhorn; nephews, Ryan Lowhorn, Aaron Lowhorn (Ana), Dylan Forsyth (Monica), and Nathaniel Forsyth; her beloved fur baby, Gizzy; and a host of extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 5th, 2020 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 6th, 2020 at 3:00pm in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel with Jon Simmons and Sharon Austell officiating. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Shirley Mae Embry
Shirley Mae (Critchlow) Embry, of Tullahoma, died on Tuesday, September 1st, 2020 at Tennova Healthcare-Harton. Shirley was born on May 13, 1936 in Montgomery, Daviess County, Indiana to Eamer Odessa Critchlow and Edith Mildred Lewis Critchlow. During World War II, the family moved to Indianapolis, Indiana. Shirley married Donald Earl Embry on June 29th, 1956 in Indianapolis. She worked as the office manager of the Graduate School at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. Following their move to Tullahoma, she was a legal secretary for the law firm of Forrester and Richardson, and later, Haynes, Hull and Reider. She and her husband Don became the owners of Baskin Robbins Ice Cream store in Tullahoma, which they owned for 11 years. Shirley was also a long-time member of Cedar Lane Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Eugene Carrol Critchlow; and grandson, Gregory Andrew Embry. Shirley is survived by her husband, Donald Earl Embry, Sr.; children, Susan Leslie Ingels and her husband Brian, Donald Earl Embry, Jr. and his wife Jeannie Colleen McGee Embry, and Dave Robert Embry and his wife Tracey Louise Sevener Embry; grandchildren, Donald Kirk Embry, Kelly Caye Ingels, Christopher Matthew Ingels, William Robert Embry, and John Bruce Embry; and great-grandchildren, Emma Claire Embry, Scarlett Emerson Embry, Donald Luke Embry, and Emery Caye Kemp. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 4th, 2020 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 12:00-2:00pm with the funeral to follow at 2:00pm with Bro. Gary Johnson officiating. Vicki L Huddleston Anderton of Tullahoma passed this life on Tuesday,
September 1, 2020 at her residence at the age of 55 years. Memorial
Services are scheduled for 3 PM Saturday, September 5, 2020 at
Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1-3 PM.
Vicki, a native of Tullahoma, was the daughter of the late John T. and
Nancy Charlene Hall Huddleston. She was a 1983 graduate of Tullahoma High
School where she played softball and basketball and ran track. She was a
member of Wesley Heights United Methodist Church. She was an avid Alabama
football fan and enjoyed fishing. She loved animals and was an exceptional
piano player.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Joy.
She is survived by husband, Mark Anderton of Tullahoma; sons, Jacob Edinger
(Steffani Brewer) of Tullahoma and Scott Anderton (Sam) of England;
daughters, Nicole Petty (Michael) of Baton Rouge, Megan Summerfield
(Benjamin) of Clarksville and Katie Anderton (Adam) of England; sister,
Kerri Huddleston (Daryl Patterson) of Tullahoma; in-laws, John and Helen
Anderton of England and grandchildren, Sarah-Lynn Petty and Zoey
Summerfield.

David Michael Alford
Manchester, Tennessee – Mr. David Michael Alford, age 63, of Beechgrove,
TN, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2020, in Beechgrove, TN.
Mr. Alford was born in McMinnville, TN, to his late parents, Jesse Lee
Alford and Nina Ruth Hockett Alford. He was a truck driver for J&M Supply
for 23 years. Mr. Alford loved the outdoors, riding his four wheeler, and
hanging out with his friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded
in death by a brother, Ronald Alford Sr., and his late wife, Ann Williams.
Mr. Alford is survived by a son, Davy (Terri) Alford; daughters, Jennifer
Alford and Angela Alford; brother, Danny (Kathy) Alford; sister, Jessie
Alford; grandchildren, Brooklyn Steverson and Gabino Medrano; great
grandchildren, Xhavier, Dieson, and Malachi Medrano.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, September 5, 2020 from 11:00am
until 1:00pm at Central Funeral Home in Manchester. Funeral services will
be conducted on Saturday, September 5, 2020, at 1:00pm from the chapel of
Central Funeral Home with family and friends officiating. Burial will
follow in Wilson Chapel Cemetery in Hoodoo, TN.
Pamela Ruth Nowlin
Pamela Ruth Nowlin of Madison passed this life on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Quality Center for Rehab and Healing in Lebanon at the age of 67. No services are scheduled at this time.
Mrs. Nowlin, a native of Fayetteville, was the daughter of William Alfred Dobbins and Lucy Smith Harwell. She was a member of Cathedral of Praise in Nashville and enjoyed watching old Westerns, cooking, and food–especially orange slice candies and green tea. Mrs. Nowlin always put others ahead of herself. She found great joy in her family and her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Alfred Dobbins and Lucy Smith Harwell.
She is survived by son, James Nowlin Jr. (Eva) of Hendersonville; daughter, Tamala Crumbley (Rafaael) of Lebanon; brothers, William Dobbins of South Carolina, Keith Dobbins of Atlanta, GA, Gary Dobbins of Nashville; sisters, Lacretia Dobbins of Toledo, OH, Paulene Campbell (Kenny) of Toledo, OH, Paulette Harwell of Toledo, OH; special cousin, Brenade Allen (Ernie) of Nashville; best friend, Rita Quarrel of Clarksville; several nephews, nieces, cousins, and 10 grandchildren.

Kathie Houser of Tullahoma passed this life on Tuesday, September 1, 2020
at her residence at the age of 71 years. Funeral Services are scheduled for
Friday, September 4, 2020 at 1 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with
burial to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive
friends from 5-8 PM on Thursday, September 3 at Daves-Culbertson Funeral
Home.
Kathie, a native of Warren, OH, was the daughter of the late Edward and
Betty Hardwick Silva. She was a member of Kings Cross Church and was very
committed to her faith. Kathie was a teacher. She enjoyed spending time
with her family as well as gardening, decorating and reading. She loved
animals, especially her dog, Penny. She was a member of the Tullahoma
Women’s Club and served as the recording secretary. She was a substitute
teacher in Tullahoma and taught English as a second language at First
Baptist Church. She was also an avid AL Football fan.
She is survived by her husband, Len Houser of Tullahoma; daughters, Deborah
Potter (Clay) of Park City, Emily Cox (Jamie) of Nashville and Lindsey
Morgan (Eric) of Tullahoma; grandchildren, Logan Morgan of Manchester,
Haley Morgan (Jeff) of Manchester, Katy Potter of Park City, Jimmy Speegle
(Miranda) of Hermitage and Zoe and Henry Morgan, both of Tullahoma and
great grandchildren, Xavier and Loki Speegle and Harrison Morgan.
