Clarence Henry Colbert III

Memorial services for Mr. Clarence Henry Colbert, III, age 87 years, 11
months, and 2 days. will be conducted on Friday, September 25, 2020 at 4 PM
in the Manchester Funeral Home chapel. Visitation  with the family will
begin at 2 PM until time of service at the funeral home. Mr. Colbert passed
away on Saturday at his home in Estill Springs.
Mr. Clarence was born on October 18, 1932, to the late Clarence Henry
Colbert, Jr. and Madge Alice Lewis Colbert in Ada, OK. He served his
country in the United States Navy and later was employed as an instrument
technician for Calspan at AEDC. Mr. Clarence is survived by his daughter,
Sabrina Colbert, and sons, Charles, James, and Steven Colbert, and Charles
Fleischman.
As per Mr. Colbert’s request, he will be cremated and his remains will be
taken back to Oklahoma to be buried on the Fort Washita Indian Reservation.

James A Hodges

James A Hodges of Tullahoma, passed this life on Sunday, September 20,2020
at his residence at the age of 59. Funeral Services are scheduled for
Saturday, September 26 at 1 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home with burial
to follow at Ragsdale Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 5 –
8 PM at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home on Friday, September 25, 2020.

A native of Tullahoma, he was the son of the late Danny Ray and Dorothy
Louise Sanders Hodges. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death
by wife, Carol Hodges; brothers, Donny Reese and Tim Sanders and sisters,
Ann Spry, Susie Ann Hodges and Melinda Louise Hodges.

He is survived by son, James Ernest Hodges of Summitville; sisters, Sally
Woodward, Linda Sue Wilbur and Connie Ann Mulligan, all of Manchester;
uncle, Homer Hodges of Summitville and aunt, Margaret Mearse.

Jewell Ray Chatman

Mr. Jewell Ray Chatman, age 88 years, 1 month, and 14 days, passed away on
Saturday, September 19, 2020, at St. Thomas Rutherford after an extended
illness. Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, September 26,
2020, at 10 AM in the Shady Grove Cemetery with Bro. Ralph Hart
officiating. Visitation with the family will be held at Manchester Funeral
Home from 9 – 9:30 AM.

Mr. Ray was born on August 5, 1932, to the late Jess and Maggie Bennett
Chatman in McMinnville, TN. He was of the Church of Christ faith and a
member of the Summitville Church of Christ. After his high school
graduation in 1950, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. He served
his country for 22 years in Japan, Korea, Viet Nam, and other countries in
the intelligence department. Towards the end of his military career, Mr.
Ray served on the missile sights at the Silos in South Dakota. In 1973, he
moved Louisville, KY where he was hired in the maintenance department at
Phillip Morris.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Ray is preceded in death by his first wife,
Martha Alene Morris Chatman; daughter, Sharon Lee Chatman; and brother,
Walter L. Chatman. He is survived by his wife, Hilma June MacAfee Chatman;
daughter, Patricia Morgan and her husband, Chuck of KY; friend and
caretaker, Shelton Jones; special, extended family, Jayden and Caiden
Warren, and Zeke and Zane Jones.

James Wilson Grimes

James Wilson Grimes of Manchester, passed this life on Monday, September
21,2020 at his residence at the age of 72. Memorial services will be
scheduled at a later time.

A native of Kentucky, he was the son of the late Orval and Vada Grimes. He
was a U S Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was an artist and
loved to paint.  He also enjoyed wood carving and reading.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa
Denson Grimes; brothers, Dale and Phillip Grimes and sisters, Diane and
Rosemary Grimes.

He is survived by son, James Woodie Grimes of Manchester and sisters,
Gloria Carpenter of Ashland City and Peggy Grimes of California.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made to
Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home.

Patricia Jolene Moore

Patricia Jolene Moore or as she was known to her friends “Patty Jo”, 64, was called home by her Lord and Savior on September 20, 2020, with family by her side, after a brief illness with a devastating cancer. She was born in Tullahoma to the late Joe and Samantha Ruth Damron on October 13, 1955. She graduated from Tullahoma High School in 1973 and from Motlow State Community College with in 1975, where she would later return to work late in her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Shannon Moore, to whom she was married for 41 years, and beloved dogs Aly and Hannah. She is survived by her pride and joy twin sons, Chris and Chad, three sisters, Karen Duke, Susan Hunt and Carol Ann Montgomery, son David Moore, nieces Amanda Duke, Kellan Rees, and Kaitlyn Rees, and dedicated friend Scarlett Carpenter. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd, 2020 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th, 2020 at 11:00am in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim McGehee officiating. Burial will follow at Holland Hill Cemetery in Manchester. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the Patty Moore Scholarship Fund at Motlow State Community College, the Grace Baptist Church, 1901 Ovoca Road, Tullahoma, TN 37388 or the Tullahoma Animal Shelter, 942 Maplewood Avenue, Tullahoma, TN 37388. She was tirelessly devoted to her friends and family, caring for and serving both her parents and husband who all recently passed within the last two years. She was passionate about photography, hated pictures of herself, loved the beach, concerts, cheering on the Tennessee Vols, and most every show at TPAC. She was devoted to her co-workers and worked tirelessly during her career. At Motlow, she was dedicated to serving students and supporting athletes. She leaves behind a void that will never be filled. Kilgore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Amy Celeste Crosslin

Amy Celeste Crosslin, age 39, of Manchester, TN, passed from this life on Friday, September 18, 2020.

Amy was born in Murfreesboro, TN, the daughter of Dennis and Reba Howell Crosslin. She was an administrator for Tennessee Department of Human Services. Amy was an avid reader, a loving mother, and enjoyed watching action movies and playing video games with her boys.

Amy was preceded in death by her grandparents, James W. Howell and Kenneth and June Crosslin, and one daughter, Ayla Celeste Crosslin. In addition to her parents, Amy is survived by her two sons, Alexander William Crosslin and Austin Dennis Crosslin; one sister, Amber Baker; nieces and nephews, Rhianna Baker, Phillip Baker, Andrew Baker, and Paislee Baker; aunts, Vickie Crosslin and Donna Howell (George) Welker; uncle, Steve (Autumn) Howell; grandmother, Dorothy Howell (Pruitt) Fulton; and numerous cousins.
