A possible murder is being investigated in Bedford County. The body of 51 year-old Robert Timothy Perkins was found just inside the front door of his burning house early Friday night, Dec. 2, 2016.
According to Bedford County Sheriff Austin Swing, the man’s manufactured home was severely damaged from the fire, but was not a total loss.
Evidence has been turned over to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation crime lab and the state bomb and arson squad.
